one more game guys Monday night Monday night night night as our cross town Rivals the Jets I say cross town but they play in the same damn place the Jets at the 49ers I feel like that's a phrase maybe we shouldn't use with the Jets and Giants but it's like I always said that way when it's like two teams they play the same team same same city like that but we don't want to play the same city least playing the same goddamn Stadium um and I got to say like is it the Jets are they just week one cursed I mean week one last year they lose Aaron Rogers for the year week one this year they go against like the second best team in the NFL yeah like is this not going to be a Rogers coming out with the flag flying at that point a celebration like it was last year obviously celebration last long but it was still it was still a celebration of sorts to start um poor man's going to get sacked in ter his other ailles h so yeah we got lions lions 49ers are a 4 and a half Point favored he got a 43 and A2 um spread there take it away Rob yeah this is um you said it's a cruel joke and granted both these offenses are supposed to be pretty damn good on paper you got Garrett Wilson you catch the ball from Aaron roders but Aaron Rogers is also like like grandfa father's age throwing the ball still so to these young guys and who knows what happens he's coming yeah yeah damn Hooligans every time he plays a Grassfield he says it yeah but I mean let's be real he's coming off this very serious injury and by the way same injury Kurt Cousins is coming off of but nobody talks about that yeah which is funny but I mean he said that he was GNA come back last year because everything was going well but you know he was honey [ __ ] everyone back oning back so who knows but what the Jets are are really good defense they were top tier last year and not a lot of people talked about that uh they also have Bree Hall which is the second best running back probably in this league right now who that's a ballsy statement probably the second best and who's number one M who's number one mcaffrey who's going to be on the other side of the field and week one 100% healthy going at Brock PR still high powerered great offensive lines on both well on that side of the ball so I expect more of a defensive one side has a good offensive line yeah I expect a very very good defensive game because Grant both these offenses are high powered but arguably the best defense in the league there the ners but know Jets weren't far back rated off the ners so I'm taking the ners to win this game but I'm actually taking the Jets to cover this and a low score and under game o so there's something about this game that makes me think this is going to be one of those deflating losses for the Jets we you don't know what kind of Aaron Rogers is going to be there he's what 40 years old now 39 years old I think he's 40 I me 39 39 turn 40 I think right you know and it's the second time I mentioned this guy in this in this podcast today but I'm gonna I'm gonna bring him up and that's pton Manning he's the classic example of once time hits you and wins time hits you and it wins and yeah he is 40 years old I did I did just verify it real quick in fact he's almost for almost 41 be 41 December oh oh so listen guys there's not a lot of people that play that old like and I know every Tom Brady yeah like I that's I that's the problem is we've gotten so used to Tom Brady being 46 years old somehow and still playing 47 still chucking the ball down the field like it's yeah like that's not normal guys the fact that he's 40 years old and playing still is ridiculous now granted he doesn't have the same amount of hits as the four-year-old quarterbacks usually do because he played for a few years behind Brett Favre and what I mean by played he mean he sat on the bench and drank some Gatorade but I mean he still has some miles on him coming off a massive injury I'm just not so short he going be the same Aaron Rogers I'm not and I'm I know I'm not the only one but I know there other people I talk to that aren't being very loud about it because they don't want to look like idiots like sometimes you get that in this business like people don't want to like they don't want to stick their neck out and make comments because they're afraid it's going to look stupid I I think it's nothing crazy to suggest not saying he's going to be but to suggest there should be cause for concern that people just assuming Aaron Rogers comes back and be is old Aaron roggers again yeah like that's a little bit presumptuous so not to mention the fact that even spend training camp really with the ful on the team at least the voluntary Camp he was over in Europe or Egypt or somewhere I forget where he was traveling like he's still old Aaron Rogers like he just doesn't care enough to be a true leader well you just happened to schedule your trip to Egypt while you were you know supposed to have volunteer oops I forgot to check my schedule like stop just say it I don't want to go just say it I don't want to go I would have had more respect for that so oops Daisy and listen his step back is still better than Kurt Cousins let's I just think that he's not going to be the old Aaron Rogers he still be an above average Quarterback in this league and a legit quarterback and a huge upgrade over Zack Wilson last year and a huge upgrade from Sam darnold prior to him but I I just don't think he's going to be as good as Jets fans are hoping and honestly I feel bad for yall if when if I'm right on this if I'm right because I actually respect for jets fans because they just they've been so horrible for so long the Joon curse comes back to strike again yeah and there and there's still loyal fans I'm not talking about the ones that come out of the closet and put their Jets jacket on the second they start winning I'm talking about the people that are fighting year and year out with this team there out there and I gotta respect for them I do the true alcoholics out there exactly um I got ners I got Niners covering the spread and I actually have over on the points I don't think it's going to be way over don't get me wrong but I think this is going to be one of those like 21 to 27 kind of games it's not hard to go over at that point there and it's just too much weapons on each offense even though both defenses are good there's too much weapons on both offenses as well and that kind of averages some of that out makes it in my had going to be an average scoring game fair enough fair enough if you
