First at midday, you can see it on your screen. It is a weather impact day, flash flooding creating problems all across the road. You're taking a live look at I 240 Perkins, this is in Memphis. You could tell right there, the roads are beyond wet at this point. Trevor, I mean, this flash flooding just kind of came out of nowhere. And so now we've been trying to figure this out. Some of you are under a flash flood warning as heavy rain continues to come down. I'm Ruben Diaz. Good afternoon. Thanks for joining us. That rain has been falling for several hours creating for problems for a lot of people on the roads and Trevor PT joining us now and Trevor, like I said, it came out almost out of nowhere. Just yeah, you know, it's craziest. We've had a drop at our TV station in northeast Memphis, but some folks have been seeing rain for hours and hours and hours and that is what has prompted for this flooding and the flash flood warning that's in effect for the Memphis Metro. Let's talk about that weather impact that flash flood warning in effect. From now until 130 this afternoon. So for the next couple of hours, we're gonna have that chance, uh, to see some flood roadways. That's really the biggest issue as these downpours pop up and kind of set over the same neighborhoods for several hours. Uh, that's gonna add up. Some spots have already seen two or three inches. Uh, so again, some ponding, maybe some flooding on the roadways definitely take it easy and slow down if you are gonna be out. I wanna take you live to North Mississippi. This is 51 in State line. Those roads are wet. You can see as the trucks are coming by. There is some ponding out there and that is easy to hydroplane on. So go slow. Holy, if you have to be out today, but again, many of us are dry. Most of West Tennessee, eastern Arkansas is dry. We just have a couple of heavy cells, one over Horn Lake in White Haven, another one down in Tate County in southern Desoto County. And again, these storms are not moving much of anywhere. So where they've set up shop, they're gonna continue to dump rain and that could lead to some flooding. So some of us dealing with heavy downpours, not everybody, but some of us will see those this afternoon and where they do pop up, they could lead to some flash flooding concerns. We'll talk more about that and your extended forecast in just a couple of minutes.
