All right. Another update tonight on the case of Britney Drexel. I know her name is familiar to so many of us who won't forget this. But she was a 17 year old girl from New York who came to Myrtle Beach on spring break and then disappeared back in 2009. In 2022 Raymond Moody confessed to killing Drexel. And now his girlfriend says she lied to the FBI about the case. 56 year old Angel Vaz is her name and she previously told the FBI that Drexel willingly got into the car for a night of drug use in 2009. And now she's, that was a lie. Vaugh pleaded guilty in US district court in Charleston to three counts of making a false statement to federal agents. A sentencing date has not been set because she could face up to 24 years in jail. Her former boyfriend, Moody is serving a life sentence for killing Drexel.
