we have to keep everyone safe and sound right that's why we're here we're trying preparation is a key component of our operations here at the fair that all starts with a tabletop exercise hosted by the police department office of emergency management Fire Marshals other agencies from the state of Maryland Baltimore County agencies and private entities are invited to participate in a mock disaster scenario those agencies get experience working together with one another to address the situation that's presented [Applause] that preparation continues with aerial photos being taken by the department once we receive those photos we label any pertinent features and rides for the year and then those photos are posted inside the command posts so that they can be used during any incident response in the past we've concentrated on upgrading our surveillance camera capabilities and Communications recently we've upgraded our Command and Control Function with the introduction of a app-based mapping program that allows our officers that are deployed at the fairgrounds to share receive and send information to the command post and see everything updated in real time on their own device should be a big cross from [Music] medical our officers are here to ensure everyone's safety and help everyone enjoy their Fair experience [Music]
