friend of TCL we have worked together on various projects and it has been a real pleasure for me to witness the growth not just of the brand but also of the company's Ambitions over the years and I'm so excited to be here today for the introduction of tcl's innovative products and Technologies in home theater mobile and Home Appliances over the past years TCL has dominated the TV market and has been the top two TV brand in the world there is also exciting news ahead in four home appliances and as this year marks the 100th anniversary of epha it's a perfect time for TCL to reflect on their key Milestones on the path of achieving Global e Excellence so without much further Ado I'd like to introduce you to Carlos Lee the CEO of TCL EU BG please give him a warm welcome thank you shot good straight thank you Carlos and hello everyone from my side as well it's great to be back in person at EA 2024 so I will take you through some of the latest Innovations of our TCL Innovations when it comes to display technology TV products and also mobile products so let's start with going into the products what actually makes makes it a good TV there's three key elements to make it a good TV of course the size the bigger the better and the picture quality is very important and then of course you also need to have an immersive sound system that gives you this home cinematic experience and we see a very clear Trend now that consumers are opting more for this large siiz TVs around the world why is it like this because it's just for better viewing and you also get with the 40 degrees viewing angle you get kind of the same experience as you would sit in a cinema also you might be surprised that even the TV looks very big you don't need that big of an apartment or living room actually the biggest mini LED TV in the world the 115 in TV from TCL you only need around 3.5 M from the TV to your sofa to have actually a beautiful experience and most living rooms in Europe probably have that kind of space Also big TVs are very versatile you can use this for many things watching a sport event on a TV actually makes you feel like you're directly in the stadium or playing games is even more immersive uh on a big screen and also if you use it for yoga or for fitness programs the TV can actually become your digital trainer okay so TCL is the global leader when it comes to big screen TVs and we have been outpacing the industry with the growth rates when it comes to big TVs and we keep growing the fastest of All Brands around the world further we will make sure that more and more big TVs getting delivered to more and more consumers around the world and we know of course that picture quality is very important when it comes to TV sales and TCL is the Pioneer in mini LED technology since 2019 we have introduced groundbreaking products every year uh to the market and the best mini LED TVs are actually coming from tcls we're very proud about all the many awards we have been winning for these products around the world for some years olet has been the gold standard for display quality because of its high contrast and white color gamut but mini mini LED technology has catched up and is more or less on par on this two things the minity starts to become stronger than olet is when it comes about higher Peak brightness and longer lifespan and it's actually much more 20120 we made the first um rotated TV such like a mobile experience and right now in 2024 I'm pleased to introduce you guys our new product the third generation a300 series next friend TV as you can see from our big screen so the TV has a lot of different kind of scenario such as you can do the yoga in the room or you move the TV to the kitchen for the cooking or you enjoy the video with your sound and the process you follow to deliver so to say it's such an amazing audio experience so we at bang and olivon the way that we think about audio and how we think about creating an experience is very much as the artist intended how we've brought this to the TCL partnership is with audio by bang and olivon audio by bang and olivon is our partnership proposition where we take all of our knowhow and expertise and place this in a partner product this ranges from looking at audio performance quality acoustic technology as well as human interface design the acousticians and Engineers that have worked on the next frame TV are the same that work on our core portfolio they have a valuate and worked and improved every aspect of the audio of the next frame from benchmarking to Mechanical design right through to architecture improvements and sound design really bringing an elevated performance to the whole proposition and for customers so what technology specifically have you used for that so really we look at two things when we look at the actual Technologies within the next frame one is around audio itself which is audio the performance the quality and this includes sound design from bang and olison constructed for the nextframe TV as well as our own algorithms for protection and quality so that's on the audio side on UI we take our human interface design so you have you see up here the way that you control the nextframe TV through bonic and also listening presets is the same way that you would do with our own products so dunan what would you say is the standout highlight of the next frame TV for consumers from from uh audio perspective so I think first is the strength of the collaboration and what we've achieved in a relatively short period of time and I think from a pure audio perspective it's really how seamlessly the bang and Olson audio DNA has been integrated into the next frame TV and what this will do as a increased improved experience for your customers thank you so guys I think you can all agree the next frame TV in partnership with Bang doson audio is a true Game Changer and we are very very proud to bring this product to the market and it's the of the TCL ecosystem and family and TCL is committed to inspiring greatness in every aspect of life both at home but also on the go as we all know the mobile product is very important for us every day so it's no surprise that smart devices have become an essential part of our everyday's life and we're spending more and more time in front of these grains most recent research has shown that we spend more than six hours a day in front of digital screens that's quite a significant portion of the day isn't it but there is a real concern 2third of the consumers actually report experiencing some kind of eye strain or eye fatigue effects the 40% of them suffering from these symptoms several times a week and this commitment led to the creation of next paper technology it's a groundbreaking the TCL 50 Pro NEX paper 5G this is our latest edition of next paper smartphones so let's talk quickly about some of the outstanding capabilities this product has the next paper 3.0 technology is actually delivered on a 6.8 in uh uh big screen with 120 HZ refresh rate and it's including certification from multiple organizations like TUV or SGS we also have added additional features from the eye care assistant like reducing the glow and the color temperature during the night and before you go to sleep to make sure you have less impact on your eyes and have a more healthier sleep when you uh expertise we have integrated AI into the next paper phones for the first time so could you provide us a bit more details how Microsoft Powers the uh next paper uh phones absolutely so at Microsoft we are deeply committed to our responsible AI standards which guide the development and deployment of our AI technology and which we also use to support our customers in building AI responsibly and so does TCL so here with a large language model and advanced automatic speech recognition technology we provide TCL with robust AI capabilities and text processing such as translation summarization rewriting and voice memo features like recording summarizing and transcribing and as for responsible AI all those capabilities are designed with a strong emphasis on fairness transparency and accountability to ensure that the solution is not only Innovative but also ethical and trustworthy thank you so obviously AI is a big bus out there in the world but also there is some concerns from the consumers about privacy and data protection so could you elaborate a little bit how Microsoft helps to protect user data and privacy yes of course so TCL is using here Microsoft's Azure open AI infrastructure and by adhering to gdpr and other regulations Microsoft and TCL have made concerted efforts to safeguard user information throughout its entire life cycle from data collection to disposal a Content uh a consent popup is clearly outlining the Privacy uh policy and also the security measures in place and rigorous data protection is employed including data encryption and storing data on local servers so data encryption ensures that users data is protected from leakage or interference uh during transmission and during data processing supported by the secure framework of Microsoft cloud services the approach ensures that the data will not be accessed by Third parties while it is being while it is generating the valuable responses last but not least all data is automatically being deleted after 7 days since its generation and if that's not enough users have the option to uh remove their data at any time thank you so I believe like with Microsoft's robust Chris lter to further introduce how Tel Revolution on the cmf welcome Chris thank you to join us so um Chris could you could you tell us uh something about how what does the cmf stands for uh thanks for inviting me to TL it's great to be here this is uh a very important moment because cmf stands for color materials and finishes and it's an area of design that is very rarely and I think uniquely particular EPA celebrated in such a prominent way as TCL is doing tomorrow the launch um essentially cmf is about bringing something very tangible to the physical part of a product you've heard a lot about the digital the Technologies but actually cmf is the first thing that the customer sees it's the first thing that they experience through their senses and it's also responsible for how the customer can feel okay thank you Chris so um how does cmf play the role in Tel design Lang language can you tell us more about that well if you look at the uh display if you go back one slide please Karen if if you look at the display that we put together at um on the booth it's really about bringing these units these touch elements sensory elements visual elements together in a display that is inspired by the periodic table so I worked with um tcl's uh design Innovation Center to bring this to life and what you will see if you go to the booth are samples of of materials and Plastics that really celebrate and empower the emotive quality of uh of the brand that we've trying to create okay thank you CHR so and if you go to the next slide I just talk specifically about yes talking to something specifically as I as an uh as far as I know that we have some new materials using in our home appliances so can you walk us through how it does it work sure if we look at this slide here there are three products that we worked on the first is the uh air conditioner and the air conditioner is really about celebrating the fresh cool technology and that references the calmness of a stream and the waves and the ripples that you see the second product which is the refrigerator is about highlighting the um uh light pole or the free built hinge technology which allows for very close um built-in Appliance es by highlighting that hinge and the third one which is the air conditioner is sorry is the uh washing machine is about the super drum and how we can use color and materials to draw attention to that and celebrate that through being inspired by the power of water and in terms of material Innovation um the most important thing for All Brands is sustainability and this has been a uh a journey that we've embarked on you saw previously with a remote control that was the te infused plastic um in the refrigerator door you can see an innovation that is really about removing paint because paint is a difficult material or process to recycle so we've done away with paint by using a metallic or metal filled plastic that is only using a certain proportion percentage of metal so that the part can still be recycled but it doesn't uh require coating with a with a spray it has that lovely metallic premium quality to it thank you Chris thank you for insight for the cmf and let's see how we going to make it happen in the products thank you Chris thank you so first I'm very pleased to present our latest products from air conditioner this is this is fresh in third generation today in air conditioner industry there are three sign significant challenges that we're facing that's such as the respiration health concerns energy consumption and global warming at TL
