if I do this every time today I'm going to be tired it's such a big stage um so really excited to get started our our guests have arrived um um just before we get started unfortunately some of the actors are running a bit late because of our uh uh buses uh but we have one guest already Lin up at the rest will join us later so ladies and gentlemen make as much noise as you can for our first Harry pod guest give it up for [Applause] is the here check check one two good this is going to be hello oh there we go thank you uh Tom so great to have you here back in Germany again uh we had you a few years ago uh the wait was too long man so it's really great to have you back here again today it is fabulous to be back thank you for having me back especially around Christmas time because obviously all of your cities uh for L up and um I ate three Nella crpes yesterday in about 5 minutes so yeah hav enjoy myself yeah and um it's it's not just great to have you here but but back in in that group I know you of course you you started a lot with Josh in the first uh uh Harry Potter films uh what's it like for you guys to to reunite after so many years again it's it was emotional and I know we we all see each other again later on but um I haven't seen Josh specifically who plays my right-and man I have not I have not seen him for uh I want to say nearly 10 years and even talking about it makes me yeah I can imagine back I think we're back yes um we spent so much time together growing up uh on the sets and so to not have seen him for so long was it was uh it was a wonderful reunion and I uh I look forward to hanging out with him more uh over the weekend and it's uh um I've met Josh a few times over the year so so I got to hang out with him and it's it's always great to to hear stories you know hear them talk about growing up with you guys on that set what what's that uh been like for you you know you started out how old were you 12 13 when you started Josh and I were two of the Elder kids we were both like 12 I think 11 12 13 somewhere around there um we got on immediately we both like the same music um and have a very similar sense of humor and as you would imagine if you grow up with someone from 11 to 21 um those are formidable years of of growing uh and we learned a lot from each other and uh I mean I I absolutely uh love the man I think he's fantastic so uh I look forward to seeing him have later on today well I think I'm just really quickly going to check but I just got a sign that that they might have just arrived aola are you back there are they here all right well should we invite them on stage ladies and gentlemen yeah exactly let's uh let's make some noise everyone let's give it up for Josh Harman let let's give it up chis R [Applause] and hello again see welcome on stage guys thank you Morgan you guys took a little deter was uh was late it's so great to have you we were afraid uh that you wouldn't be able to join us today on stage but I think people are really happy uh that you came in here straight away so welcome thank you we got to see every side of theity adment Stadium this morning yeah wow what a beautifully unique reunion I know who would have than this 20 odd years ago when we started following the yeah so yeah I I was just talking to Tom about about you guys reuniting and it's great to have you all individually as guests but it must also be for you like reuniting with with all cast members it's been a few years since of course the last film uh wrapped what's it like for you guys to to revisit the show through these comiccons and to have all of these people you know dressed up as characters that you played um what's that like for you Iana uh to revisit this universe oh now it is yeah oh um hello it's very nice to be here thank you for having us I mean it it it it stops time you see the I don't know when I last saw you but it's like we were we were in a world together you know we're so then that meeting those eyes that brings you back to that moment and um yeah to see it continue to to me it's such a cliche but it brings you home you know I've always felt that way with the books I always feel rooted back to who I am and I think um meeting these guys and meeting the fans again it's like ah we have that in common we all understand feeling of comfort that world brings of being sort of an outsider in the rest of the world and finding your place in this world it yeah it's a lovely lovely feeling to actually have such a big home all over the world I can imagine and Josh what was it like for you guys to uh to reunite oh it's awesome so cool um it's been far too long far far too long um yeah it's hard to it's hard to put it into words really um can imagine yeah it's kind of like see in a way it's like your brother like which you haven't seen for 10 12 13 years so yeah he a little bit of Mo of course yeah and uh it's sorry there's chime in on that it's like it still feels like yesterday that we were set so you know when you haven't seen an old friend for a long time but you instantly click back into and although we spent a lot of time on set as um I was going to say CRA go as Dr and and Goyle we spent a lot more time together as Tom and Josh um so that's why uh it's very very special and uh so Chris of course when when the first film came out you were one of the prefects you were I was the the more experienced older kid what what was it like to have a bunch of like 11y old was so annoying no actually to be fair it one of the things that was um looking back on it actually is quite interesting I think is that I forget that I'm like six seven years older than some of the what were the first years um because most of us have never worked on a film set before so in some ways although although like Tom and Josh and when you came you came to us a little bit later but Tom and Josh and Dan and em and rer they were all like 10 11 12 years old when we started filming and I turned 70 but we were all in some ways sort of we were learning the same things at the same time so I kind of you forget sometimes that we are all especially the older we get as well like it's it's a bit hard you know you kind of you forget that I was that much older because we were all learning we're all in the same place doing the same thing at the same time and it was a first first time experience for so many of us that I think think it kind of evens everything out quite a lot um it's it's a crazy world to enter in and you experience that together of course all of you I could ask a lot more questions but I see a line forming of of of course fans who who want to get to question it but I'm going to pull some dad strings cuz I don't get to benefit you know cuz I don't want to bother but my daughter and son are here today so I'm going to give them the first question of the audience so is and Kaa if you can come here and get your question in the biggest Harry Potter fans I know what's your question which movie did you guys like the most which movie did we like the most like from 1 till 7 part 1 and two all right let's see which which was your favorite to shoot or to watch um very hard to answer I'll let the prefect take thanks Tom um I think my favorite film to watch is half no not uh yeah Half Blood prints the sixth [Applause] film right because I'm not in it that's why they ins that I can I can sit and I can relax and just enjoy but it's yeah I think that's my favorite I think my favorite one to film was Order of the Phoenix the fifth film because I Percy had stopped being a a Hogwart student and it started to be a grownup and I yeah so I got to act with the grown-ups and that was that was a different experience for me so that would yeah that's good question anybody um I would say I enjoyed the beh of Prince because when I first joined the films it was like you know they'd already done this for years they were my icons as and I felt very uncomfortable I felt very much like you know the Imposter syndrome why I'm I here I think by number six I kind of was like oh get over yourself you know it's a Once in a Lifetime experience just enjoy it and and accept where you are and um it was really fun and also that was the it wasn't the sense of Doom that it's ending that the seventh one was like when we were doing the seventh one every interview was like how do you feel how end it was just like um so I enjoyed that one but I actually really enjoyed watching uh deathy Howard's part one the most cuz I thought was really experimental I love the whole thing of these three teenagers being sort of Lost in the forest having to save the world and having no clue how to do that I I thought that feeling of they really didn't know if they were going to manage it was very prominent and uh yeah I enjoyed that one hard to pick um Josh and I were Slytherin on screen but we were just as much Slytherin off screen as as well so we always had lots of fun I remember having lots of fun on the first couple getting to know each other and sharing a lot of similar interests um but I um I think it changes every every year to be honest with you which ones that I uh remember more stories of or enjoy watching more but I think for some reason Prisma rasan uh took the best this year Chamber of Secrets was originally they got me back into reading I I literally stopped reading for for several years uh so I was very grateful for that um which obviously is a passion that has continued but um yeah the pris um the third fil prison of asan really I think took the the slightly uh childish uh nature of the first two films into a much much darker um space so um yeah obviously Alonso we have a lot to thank him for for that but uh yeah it's it's pretty hard to pick one to be honest is that the same for you Josh do you kind an hard to pick or do you have like one that stands out for you oh no yeah my favorite book was prison of Asad and that's my favorite movie um yeah that definitely also it's like because when Alonso came on everything that we were used to In terms of we like had to be Immaculate really like there wasn't the hair out of place Top buttons always done up you know we had to look pretty much very perfect um and then I think I think it was alonso's uh decision or influence that you know they kind of just turned that on its head and they said no we want the kids looking more believable like like real actual school kids you know so we were allowed to undo our top buttons and we could roll up our sleeves some had jumpers some didn't and some had a clo some didn't and I really like that you know I appreciate realism I mean as real as you know story about magic dragons is but uh but my favorite movie to make was um Chamber of Secrets because of you know poly juice potion yeah exactly cuz I G basically being a glorified extra on the first movie and then all of a sudden I'm having a I'm having a closeup and just me and S you know got Chris Columbus Legend directing me and only me I was just like that was a real moment for me and I was I was looking into the mirror as as Harry changes into me and I was like w yeah this is this is all about me for for a little while fantastic thanks so still one of my favorite scenes in the entire day uh especially the ad Li line that I'm pretty sure it was three yeah didn't didn't know you could read that was always H that's one of my favorite lines uh thank you so much for your question thanks guys well done guys and uh so we have a few more questions follow of you I made a chocolate frogs and I would love if I could give them to you um is that okay well I I'll come and get it for them if you want to so you can give it to me thank you being dark thank okay perfect yes and do you also have a question you want to ask perfect so um I wanted to ask this question a few years ago when Tom was already um here in Dortmund but I didn't get the chance to so I'm going to ask you all the question now so um if you could choose one of the deadly HS which one would you pick oh cing so we have got the straight in at the deep end yeah uh ranking I'll refer to you first clo Elder one or stone Resurrection Stone right yeah um I I think I would I would pick the invisibility cloak I think um just cuz that sounds like fun the others the others all seem to have quite serious consequences to them whereas the invis the invisibility F I didn't know you were fluent in German oh yeah yeah yeah can know um was cl right yeah um yeah the invisibility cloak I think would be fun I think you can get away with Mischief there and not necessarily have anything to do with you know longevity of life or the consequences that come with all the others seem quite dangerous never be afraid though if you had the invisibility CL that you would suddenly hear what everyone thinks of you when you leave the room I'm afraid of that anyway I don't need to be invisible to me as the as the biggest Potter uh fan of the past from the day one I'd love to know you oh um uh it's not it's not anything exciting I think there's wisdom there um I think that me I learned from the books I suppose that you just can't trifle with life or death you know you can't rewind you can't bring someone back you can't prolong without very serious consequences so you're not the others um but yeah I think the whole invis I would go with invisibility clo cuz I I like I like people watching I like doing that but I don't particularly like people watching me you know so it's quite quite a good one what about you I would generally answer the same um for more uh mischevious reasons but um the W that is one of the right yes and that has more um span of uh well you can do a lot more with it should we say than just be uh invisible so that's probably what probably what I look at thank you so much for answering Josh what about you so would you like from The Deadly Halls would you go for invisibility clo Elder on or Resurrection Stone which one would you pick invisibility clo yeah def okay that one too you guys are definitely sling thank you so much for your question thank you so much firstly can I ask um two questions but the first is a um just a small question yeah ask your question sure so um last year I was in the 2022 show where you played um in Tom and I firstly I wanted to ask all of you um if you was in the show in what show sorry and 222 yes oh yes yes I I was in the play yes did you did you say you can see and yeah I I did well thank you very much than yeah it was very cool and how was it to play um in the show for you Tom sorry can like I'm just going to come a little bit closer okay just come and speak into this microphone so I can hear you properly hi again what was the last question you asked um I wanted to ask you if um and how was it to play um in the show for Utah oh how was it to play in that show for Utah it uh it was great fun I I grew up doing theater as a child um one of the very strange differences between beta and and film work is um once you send your lines uh in when you're filming you basically forget them and you learn your tomorrow's lines and you you're constantly moving forward whereas during the stage play we did 148 shows I think it's the same scene every single night and you and you tweaking it and um trying to uh feed off an a audence which changes every night uh so it was it was uh highly enjoyable terrifyingly nervous um at first um but it was really rewarding and I look forward to doing more next year thank you so much for your question thank you thank [Applause] you hi hello and and try to speak directly into the microphone as close as you can thank you okay um what was the craziest thing a fan did in your trans what was the greatest thing of fan craziest the craziest fan interaction you had there must be so [Applause] many no no I said I'll let you leave um no I don't I don't really no you must have many more strange ones craziest fan interaction um I I suppose it's very hard again dick one but but one of the after the first premiere I remember a very young child calling me um a word that I Shan uh uh say out loud but he was not very kind to me um and uh me not really being sure how to feel about it but my grandfather who was there at the time told me that he Wicked me and said good job as long as this six-year-old thinks that you're a um then you're doing something right uh no it was he called me a dick um maybe I've got a couple um it's toss up between I was doing a Comic Con in Louisiana and then somebody came on the Saturday and asked me to sign their arm and then they came back on the Sunday and there had they tattooed on them that was that was I was yeah I was surprised that uh and then uh I was in San Francisco at alatm I think that was yeah I ended up getting just mobbed basically by um coachload of tourists and like while I was waiting for my dad to have a poo my dad was like I need to I I need to have a poo I was like standing outside waiting for him and then before I knew it there was I was literally mbed that was that was um B I mean I think we've all we've all had sort of experiences where we've been recognized somewhere you really wouldn't expect to be recognized like you know outside a toilet in Louisiana um but I just remembered one while while you were talking Tom about oh God my God it must be 10 years ago uh you and me and Alfie Enoch did an event in Australia together and we decided we were in Brisbane and we decided to go in Brisbane they have these like free barbecues you can use on the site like by the side of the river and it was really lovely it was really sunny it was beautiful we were like we go barbecue let's go let's go and have a barbecue it be really nice so we went down we were there having a barbecue we had a few beers and was a nice evening and some girls walk past and recognized Tom and obviously went absolutely mad oh my God it's Tom Felton it's Tom Felton came running over and then asked Alfie Enoch who plays Dean Thomas they went can you take a photo of me and they completely ignored the fact that the half of the Harry Potter casts were also there they were so fixated on Tom like can you take a photo of us yeah uh but sure oh no fine yeah okay okay so what any for you would that should think like wow that could t no people are always ring sweet I think it's like what you say it's more of a context thing when you recognize out of context um it really goes W um like I go to trap classes and there was a girl there who pretty much had a bit of a meltdown when she recognized me and she kept kind of saying my childhood my childhood I was like trying to learn these really dangerous trapeze moves and she was really freaking me out because I was like she's watching everything I do and I've got to get this right so it was like Life or Dead it was a lot of pressure so I actually I couldn't I stopped going to that class CU it was a little bit uncomfortable but no generally people I don't really get strange experience just people are nice I suppose cuz of playing Luna you know she's quite a um there's sweetness to I get a lot of shy lovely fans creative fans so no I've got no horror stories to share I have to say I really love your hat well done awesome so I know you guys have got tons of questions more but uh we have a tight schedule for for the panel here and uh your photo shoot Tom your photo shoot is about to start in 15 minutes and after that all of you have your photo shoot but if you have any questions after the photo shoots make sure you go and say hi at the signing table and while they're signing you can still ask your question I'm sure they'll be happy to answer them
