fortnite recently got an update that added the power of Dr Doom and I think they absolutely fumbled this hey howdy how's it going my name is benjie pie I will cut right to the chase I love the new Mythic for Dr Doom if you haven't heard or you just didn't know fortnite recently had an update that added a couple things I'm not getting specifically into every little intricate detail uh they have the Mythic dual SMGs I those were supposed to be in since day one I don't know why they didn't just had those already and the Black Panther claws but those are also boring but besides those two things there isn't really else that comes to mind for this update oh all right the Dr Doom I recall a glorious time in my past about s or six years ago back when you could become Thanos when you could destroy the lobby with his beam you could super jump also kill people with his strong ass punches it was amazing I also recall being able to hold the Infinity Blade super jump across the map not actually slice through builds like it was literally nothing and you could also build but they eventually took that out but still was super cool the OG days were amazing keep this all in mind going forward we're going to revisit those points in a minute right into the meat and potatoes the new Mythic is awesome and gives you the nostalgic feeling of being Thanos again but a little cooler but for one positive there is a thousand negatives or a lot I mean not a number but a lot when they were deciding to add this to the game and by add this the Dr Doom Mythic okay the ability to become Dr Doom take a guess as to what they thought would be a good idea any answers yes you in the back no this will not be on the test there's a 5% chance of the aisle of Doom spawning which is a reskin of of the normal loot Island in which after it spawns you need to capture it and then you get the new Mythic Dr Doom Powers but here is the issue for me some of you may agree some of you may not care whatsoever I think this whole five-step process is stupid I have seen the island a total of once not two times not three times not at all not at all once and because of how high level I am skill-based matchmaking likes to put me against the sweatiest losers on the planet the only reason I am this high level is because of save the world I actually made a video on you should go check it out it's pretty cool but so I have not leveled up that much from playing PVP playing against another player and you know killing them or anything it's been like a week maybe two I actually really have not played Battle Royale that much lately so on top of having to get lucky to even see the island spawn once it spawns it alerts the entire Lobby you need to fight through probably like 10 players especially in something like solos then you claim the island as if it's like you know has the flag and all that stuff you can't sit around and by the time you claim it the game is practically over because it's the third circle who the decides this they even made sure that the new Mythic stuff couldn't be in tournaments or ranked why didn't they do that for the rest of the Marvel items so this is only for the Casual experience and casuals in general no ranked modes builds and zero builds of the regular Battle Royale reload never counts when it comes to this I don't know why they haven't done anything with that actually that' be kind of cool but I have seen so many clips of people getting it and in a lot of the clips they're uncontested which means there's no one fighting them there's no one there they just zip up capture it and they claim it whatever get the the thing and then they win no issues whatsoever the first and only time I got to see this thing my Duo was killed to start the fight and we ended up dying because a lot of people they're sweaty little grubby nasty little you gross little sitting like just waiting they just don't do anything they don't fight and it's a that's a smart strategy I totally understand doing it but really boring when you're like man I'm let me get it I'm racing to get it and then you fighting the whole lobby with jetpack act like it's Advanced Warfare you don't know what Advanced Warfare is then you are young leave all the skill issue adapt whatever out of it okay you certain things obviously you can control whatever if I knew people were going to Camp I should have done the same thing you know but do you know the difference from The Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Blade compared to the new Dr Doom Mythic you could actually get it to start the game and on top of this it's random on where it's going to be on the map no spawn Island no Set uh like specific place obviously when the island spawns everyone knows where it is and I most I'm mostly talking about The Infinity Gauntlet the uh Infinity Blade is in one place ever on top of that if someone dies while using The Infinity Gauntlet or even the Infinity Blade it drops onto the ground and someone else can pick it up on top of that it was in every single match what really pisses me off is I don't even necessarily care to use the Mythic I've technically used it before I've played as Thanos okay it's it's quite literally the same thing I just want a high quality clip of it just you know better graphics the clips that I found online don't exactly look the greatest I just want something that's you know HD but I'm at a point where I'm losing the love for Battle Royale because epic games just treats this like garbage it's just a way to advertise they don't really care there's so much bugs already with the Doom stuff that is probably going to get patched in like 2 weeks we are still dealing with problems of separate loot pools from rank to non-ranked modes and overall just the balance philosophy that epic has for this game they could have made this even better and decided to take the Bland and boring route the Mythic should be available in every single match and at the start of the first Circle no questions asked and since it's only in non-ranked modes if you don't want to deal with it or play against it or anything there is reload and there is ranked of whatever you're trying to play it's also creative also save the world that's fun go play that it's only $20 it's nice to not deal with other players that's why I've been playing it they also did add you know Dr Doom cosmetics and the bonus skins section but whoever the added this and like designed it and set up the menus and all that stuff was an idiot we have already gotten Dr Doom before and something I forgot to add in the section talking about the Mythic whenever you're using the powers the HUD shows the old skin back in Chapter 2 now it could be that these are the same people and it's just an upgraded suit technically but I highly doubt it I think they were just lazy and did not use the right picture but anyways back to the Cosmetics the new version of Dr Doom cannot use the custom glider that is for the original version of Dr Doom back in Chapter 2 the new Doom does not have a victory emote like the original and in the section where you can unlock things for the new version we are given a Lego set that isn't even a building like a big thing that that you can build like a castle it's decorations this is why I say that Battle Royale is just a way to advertise stuff this is a battle pass a battle pass that is specific to Battle Royale but you earn XP from all modes for it you know that makes a little bit of sense they originally had you know levels in your battle pass separate and then they put it together and I didn't like it Lego has its own version of a battle pass and the last time that we saw this was when they had Star Wars I don't think they've done it again but I do like when they have that stuff I'm just not that into Lego like that there is no reason to put Lego stuff in the Battle Royale battle pass I can understand getting a new car the last one that we got was in you know season 1 of this chapter but even getting something like a Jam track would piss me off because they're technically just a song that you can do and they're by epic they're not even like cool songs and also guess what Music Festival has its own pass what a surprise the best thing to be added from this bonus skin section is the new glider for Dr Doom because the it just you're menacing it looks really cool I like the pose the last thing I will say when it comes to this specific content why the are these super Styles the same color as the season before it feels lazy it's cool concept though if you know what the power of cosmic is then this kind of tickles your fancy a little bit and the last thing I'll end off on I know this video is a little short I miss when secret skins were actually a secret and also Dr Doom probably should have been tier 100 but all right that about does it I have a channel called benjie pie live I plan on
