Jordan you probably dreamt about how your first NFL start would go let's see here 28 carries 147 yards how did the real thing how did the real thing compare to what you dreamed it would be like honestly just thinking about it I told Christian I said I don't know how you do it man it's a long game but you know this just the beginning and um you know we going to see where we go from here when did you find out that you were going to be starting when did I find out maybe be Friday Friday night you know something like that I was always always prepared I mean we went through training camp you know I was rb1 in training camp so you know just been preparing from there and just you know all right this rookie profile is going to be on San Francisco's Jordan Mason after he ran for 147 yards 28 carries and one touchdown Prospect notes Jordan Mason is a running back out of Georgia Tech he went undrafted in 2022 and was signed by the 49ers he stands 511 weighs 223 ran a 458 at his Pro dat which adjusted is more like a 463 coming out of high school he was a three store recruit the film showed he had a knack for evading tackles had adequate speed and has some B to him the negatives he went undrafted it seeming not to mean much due to the 49ers having a soft spot for him but teams are usually quicker to replace a player on a depth chart that is undrafted rather than drafted number two also he's not a pass catcher only 25 catches in college and this is his third season in the NFL and only four catches thus far dud ran the ball 28 times but only was targeted once and number three the last negative badges Jordan Mason is a part of team no badges there's not one thing that he exceeds that not one thing that I can point to and say this is how he's going to win which is why I wasn't on him as a prospect fantasy football Outlook Jordan Mason as a prospect was a long shot to me if you would have told me he would end up as the starter even just for one game for San Francisco I would have said you're lying Mason reminds me of Trey Surman and tyon Davis price both who are not the typical Channel type of running back and they didn't do anything in that system but Isaac gendo is and I think he is a better Talent than Mason so in Dynasty unless you a CMC owner I would not invest in any Jordan Mason shares definitely not while his value is currently High I think most running backs would produce in this system but we' seen some fail to do so so you have to give him credit for that while I don't believe in his alone Talent he's currently the direct backup in a great offense that just got 28 carries in one game so he may be the most valuable fantasy backup this season and rra he should be rostered already in every league but if for some reason he's not be willing to spend at least 10% of your Fab owner if you don't have CMC and if you are a CMC owner be willing to spin up to 30 [Music]
