cam ward in the Miami Hurricanes literally tried to warn us before the season started that they had the talent and the ability to kind of shock the NCAA this season and for an opening game going on the road to Florida in absolutely dominating your competition the way that cam W did is unbelievable and in this video what I wanted to do was go through the film of Cam Ward and show you guys a couple of plays that I love by cam word so we're going to kind of break down the film a little bit however if you guys want a part two to this video where I break down the entirety of the game comment down below part two and also real quickly comment down below a record prediction for the Miami Hurricanes guys I'm telling you right now what I saw today from cam Ward the Poise the calmness in the pocket but also the throws that he was making it tells me one thing this is a potential playoff team I am super excited to see what they do next let me know what you guys think the record is and with that being said let's kind of dive into the video and look at a couple of plays from cam Ward man this dude was different all right here we go this was one of my favorite plays of the day third and 11 got to get at least some yards to make this an easier field goal or we can go home run ball and go for a touchdown I do want to apologize real quickly because due to NCAA rules I'm not really allowed to you to show the entirety of the clip or they will copyright strike me first thing we notice about this play is the insane pocket presence the awareness of when and where the pocket is breaking down we see an interior defensive tackle absolutely demoralize the left guard here he's going to spin out of it the one thing I love about cam Ward is the ability to keep his eyes down the field now obviously with it being third and 11 sure we can actually take this maybe run a little bit potentially get a first down but he decides to keep his eyes down the field this guy reminds me a lot of Jaden Daniels and how he was but look this though cross body running to the left we know this is a shell defense and you can tell really quickly here let's actually go back just a second we're going to be able to tell this is kind of a shell defense where you got just a bunch of bunch of guys in the middle of the field and then you have your two deep safeties again so let's actually get back forward here again I apologize I can't show the entire clip at once cuz they will copyright it but boom right crossbody throw running to the left guy in his face look at this throw guys look at this throw oh my God in between two different players guys I'm telling you right now cam Ward is a different breed if he did this versus you know the M Miami of Ohio or um you know I don't know Florida A&M right it would be it would be okay whatever right but this is Florida this is a good team with good talent with Billy Napier yes he's on the hot seat unbelievable this is an unbelievable throw I don't know if you guys truly understand the diffic the difficultness of this throw specifically right getting outside the pocket spinning off a Defender man this dude is fun to watch and he makes things so electric he also plays like he doesn't give a hell but what's going on man early on the game just walking out of bounds look at this throw man look at this throw beautiful all right here we go another really good play Here by cam W the first thing we noticed is we have a speed out we have a route that came in and it's going to go up and then we have this dude coming out um as well in kind of a slower release first thing we're going to notice is the manipulation by cam Ward whenever you can manipulate a defense you can really throw things open right so cam Ward is going to look off the tight end he's going to look off the speed out and what that does is kind of shift this defense because it's a Zone into the left side of the field right all of these guys all of their hips are turned to the left which is opening up that Middle Lane for this guy to just run up that seam right amazing right being able to manipulate these guys is really really um exciting to see as a you know first year player in this system boom beautiful pass right through a window for a touchdown guys I'm telling you right now cam Ward is going to change everything for this football team again one two three boom uh back foot is planted we got a five-step plant here whenever you're in the shotgun it's usually a three-step plant one two three a little bit of a clunky footwork there want to fix that up just a little bit and I guarantee you this man goes to the NFL you'll see Team start to work on that but man what a throw what a way to manipulate the defense I thought that was one major point of his game that I thought is above so many other guys you don't see too many guys manipulating a defense like cam Ward did in this game now before we get any further into the video I have a couple more plays Run second play the manipulation of the defense cam Ward I'm all the way bought in man I am all right here's another smaller play that I like liked by cam Ward again I want to see the footwork be a little bit better um we're going to get a 1 two three again I don't love the footwork I think this is something that he'll need to improve going to the next level here you see how he's a little bit hoppy right never really takes the footwork seriously but sidearm passes it right through the window of his left guard and his Center gets it in there very quick a Bullet Pass we want this guy to catch it on the run I think this is a beautifully placed ball right again when you're watching the game you don't really understand where the ball needs to be placed you're kind of just watching the game right but again when we talk about this pass it leads him up the field he doesn't have to stop for it he doesn't have to reach out for it it puts him right in a pocket that way right when he catches it he can just turn up the field and go so again right nice pass through his guard and his Center leads him up the field and this is a play where Dude Looks like he tears his ACL on this spin move um this guy right seven this dude's going to be a baller this dude's going to be a baller I think he could be an NFL t ented or an NFL Talent type of player here um again maybe not the biggest play by cam Ward I just like the overall mechanics however for workk could be a little bit better but again man he still got a lot of time left to develop if the NFL wants him man they got a really good poised calm confident pocket passer um who can also scramble and run as well I love that he also is you know we know how good of a runner he is however he always just keeps his eyes down the field which is something Jaden Daniels did as well I'm super excited man now that will be it for the you know film breakdown of the game I'm going to wait until the highlights are completely out and
