hey everyone it's Dave for Gamers on games and this episode we're going to be talking about cutback on the rig election talk Trump campaign admits his 2020 claims are bogus and this comes to us from raw story so let's get right into this with no hesitation and uh let's uh let's see what comes to this one of two heads of former president Trump's 2024 campaign recently made an eyebrow raising admission about his claims of a supposedly stolen election in 2020 yeah well first of all the election wasn't stolen that has been tried that has been thrown through the courts and none of his uh appeals gain traction not a single one every single one of them failed so right off the bat we already know that he's full of crap so let's uh let's find out what what's going on here in an interview with the Atlantic Tri Compu Atlantic contributor Tim Alberta Trump campaign co-manager Susie Wilds uh Chris lasa L I'm not really sure how it's supposed to be pronounced is the other uh let it slip that he was she wasn't personally a believer in the former president's baseless assertions that he was the true winner of 2020 election Alberto wrote that he conducted multiple interviews with both lasciva and WS over the course of roughly 6 months and mind quote from their conversations for his July 10th article entitled Trump is planning a for a landslide win dragonet hio and he has to cut back on the rig elections stuff as it may make uh some of the voters stay home yeah I have heard um was it McConnell who said something about that was like listen he's got a knockoff uh going on about how uh the election is rigged and he's not going to win because it's rigged and they're going to have to plan to fight it afterwards and all that kind of stuff I don't remember which politician was I think it was McConnell I may be wrong could be oh geez it could be anybody at this point um but here's the thing it's a case of um if if the Republicans stay home and they don't vote I'm all for it I know he has changed his rhetoric regarding um uh he changed his rhetoric regarding uh mail and ballots because he was saying oh um you know now they're safe now they're good you should do mail and ballots are a good thing Rah R ra sisom ba so I don't know where they're going to I don't know where any of this is going to land um one revealing exchange between Alberta and Wilds was about how Trump tended to continue bringing up his loss in the presidential election 4 years ago the former former president continuously uh refusing to acknowledge his narrow defeat appeared to worry Wilds on the campaign Trail uh she boasted to me during one conversation that she had been somewhat successful in getting her boss to cut back on the rigged election talk on the campaign trial Alber wrote adding that Wilds said that quote people want to have hope they want to be inspired they want to look forward but let's also face it Trump is not good at looking forward Trump is best at looking backwards everything that he has done so far is not talk about what he's going to do in the future except for you know things that are project 2025 covered but is him going on about how he was robbed the last time and how grieved he is and now this is a campaign of Vengeance and retribution um that he will be the people's retribution and how he's going to Pardon uh uh j6 uh insurrectionists so there's that but in that same conversation Wes could not answer the question of whether the 2020 election had actually been stolen I'm not sure she said repeating the phrase three times he continued Alberta added that according to Wilds Trump thinks he knows the true outcoming the election but then he noticed that wild seemed to catch herself when making the comment but we know she added that it can't happen again if it didn't happen the first time you can't have it happen again because definitionally it's not it again Trump himself has also let it slip that despite all his Bluster he knows he lost the 2020 election fair and square in June Vanity Fair co-editor and chief Ramen cuded suud sua I don't know how it's exactly pronounced uh tees is forthcoming book by uh matching a conversation he had with Trump in which the former president admitted that he didn't win four years ago in one of our conversations he was watching clips of The Apprentice and I showed him a clip of Heraldo Rivera who was a contestant and he got worked up over their falling out and the feud that they had had and he said when I lost the election sauda uh sauda told MSNBC host Nicole Wallace last month and that was a really revealing moment to me and proved something he I'd been thinking about is Donald Trump is playing a character he's a reality show character that projects this image that people want to see which is something we've all heard is a case of whenever he's talking about his time on The Apprentice he's very happy he's very satisfied but once he has to start talking about things like being in office he gets very D and and and distant and he doesn't want to talk about he gets kind of depressed and I wonder why that is it's because he didn't like being president and I think truthfully we were uh if we were able to get inside his head and find the truth he would admit he lost the election because he said it to me uh he added and there you go that's that's the whole article so uh yeah just another one of those things of trump claiming and realizing he lost but he can't admit it now because now he's so far deep into that lie that to admit it is to show weakness and remember Republicans hate above all showing any sort of weakness so there you have it uh Trump let it slip he let it slip I guess at this point it's my uh my duty to kick this one back to you guys
