I pulled a few plays from the Packers first drive I'm not sure any of these are highlight worthy but of course there's a lot you can see on each and every play we'll first let this play run and then see what we see first thing that catches my eye in this particular play is watching David ojabo essentially in man coverage off the ball over this tight end David's got a bad habit of dropping his eyes dropping his helmet he can get away with that for an instant in an obvious pass rushing situation but here it gets him beat off the ball most first string quarterbacks are going to look to that sort of matchup especially if they see something like this on film this will get you beat perhaps for a score certainly a big play the next thing I'll say is that in general it strikes me the Ravens are lacking depth along uh the defensive line I'm a bit worried about that you do see a good push from 93 sonat here driving the center back into the lap of the quarterback not sure if he will make the team or not but they do need some help on the dline really like what I see out of 68 that's ravenol I think he's looked more comfortable on the outside I think he shows some good hand usage watch him drop his pads here get under the pads of the tackle swipe the hands away and then this underhand rip drives his legs flushes the quarterback opposite him you see a lot of effort out of Joe Evans 48 Joe's going to struggle because he does not have great arm length guys will tend to get into him he has a hard time in general uh getting off of blocks after ravenol flushes him he peels off and gets a hit on the quarterback we get ojaba with a nice pass rush here versus the tight end really like what we see from sonat here he's fast off the ball he's low off the ball really good pad level good hands first into the frame of the center eyes to the Back Field wall engaged presses him out locks out his arms and then rips down to free himself ojabo once again you see him drop his eyes here but really real quick and transition makes light work throws that inside arm just too powerful and explosive for a tight end and that's the way it should be good bend really explosive coming off the edge in a big hit I'm pretty ignorant as to who exactly deden sonat is number 93 I believe he's been in the league for five perhaps six years he's catching my eye uh in this particular game here he is again nose tackle watch the hand fighting off the ball really impressive both hands into the frame watching The Back Field he's going to chop this outside arm down and then rip with his inside arm take on the guard next drive him back does a good job pushing the pocket here along with bradrick Washington Bo ra strikes me as a player who reads and studies Packers are in 12 Personnel to the boundary this Wing set you can see him just itching to trigger downhill when he sees what he thinks he's going to see and he's a rocket man he looks great going downhill gets there before anybody on the second level really nice play very instinctive and physical play from Bo braid just a few words about the game today and some words about the team generally I said it earlier in the video I'm concerned about the dline I do not think the defense will pick up right where it left off too many new coaches a new coordinator some new guys on the field haven't seen our two best run Defenders but they have not looked good stopping the Run of course it almost goes without saying the offensive line is wor some I have a sneaking suspicion the Chargers might be interested uh in Ben Cleveland I'm just not sure what's going on with Ben Cleveland on this team Josh Johnson I thought looked terrible today the big play to tyon Wallace was well protected wide open before that he was inaccurate not sure what to say about Devon lery except he looked even worse if you watch his tape in college at North Carolina in particular he will stand in the pocket take a hit right underneath the chin and deliver an absolute laser into tight coverage and two plays later he'll make a boneheaded throw I don't think it's necessarily is decisionmaking I just don't think he sees the field that well it's possible that a week and a half from now when the Ravens starters are on the field Stanley and Linder bomb Etc that they're able to run the football impose the will on the Chiefs things start to click just because Lamar's out there I'm sure it'll be a lot better but this does not here as a very deep team and I don't think it's looked like a particularly well- coached team in this preseason
