has your own perception of death and the afterlife changed after making these movies no not at all no I mean I I feel like for me it sums up like this kind of thing of like growing up in certain in America but also seeing the Spanish the Mexican culture of Day of the Dead and and all that sort of thing I I responded to very well so to me I like that sort of inroad that way to where it's not you it's not this beautiful like heaven where everything's all perfect it's almost it's just an alternative version of life in a different way so that's what I kind of liked about it it's it's it's not exactly how I feel but there's something funny about it that I kind do represent how I feel right yeah and this country seems to really historically I don't know if embrace it is the word but the iconic uh the iconic images here always been like what they so yeah the connection between the and I you know growing up in Los Angeles you really get a sense of that culture yeah everywhere
