definitely honored to be uh one of the the leaders uh in in this defense man and especially one of the veterans who's coming to help uh bring this defense along and and make us one of the top defenses in the NFL so I definitely uh have honor in that there's a lot of great young Talent on the defense and I'm just happy to be able to like Mentor them and bring them up to speed how do you feel the defense has come along in a relatively short amount of time CU this was just the third day of putting on the pads and it seemed like you guys had the advantage again today uh you know we got some things to work on uh but we're definitely trying to like take to him every day um got a lot of new guys on the defense so we're still mesing together getting our chemistry right uh but for the most part I'm proud of our progress and uh we got more to go granted I know you and terion have had a lot of talking leading up to this training camp but now that you've seen him on the field what have you seen from number zero out there man he's going to be a great player um you know he's he has all the intangibles to be it um he definitely has the confidence uh but you know it's a process for us all we're all working through and uh by the by by the time the season starts we'll all be ready to go what's different about this Camp compared to others that you've gone through in your career the competition level is high man every day uh we're trying to take each other's head off um and I know when to turn it down a little bit man yeah but at the same time here I love it you know it's it's it's like being the King of the Hill you know everybody's trying to get that top spot and that's the competition you love that's the competition that's going to make a Super Bowl team you say that word you've been to one you've won one do you feel like this has similar makings of what could get there oh for sure for sure um from the talent level from the work ethic level um it's all there it's just about going through that process and uh you know making it on the top of the hill honestly it's going to be like you know obstacles in the way for sure but at the same time uh what we're going through now is going to prepare us for those moments
