[Music] what is up guys so if you have not heard Jake Paul's reason on why we have not seen Connor we're going to listen to it and discuss it it's a little bit different than the contrary you know he's stalling the fight Michael Chandler he did have an injury on his toe he provided x-rays it was broken but Jake Paul says that's that has nothing to do with why we have not seen Connor Connor has two fights left on his fight deal but the UF C is trying to renew their rights deal because they licens their content which are the fights to platforms so they're trying to renew their deal with they're negotiating let multiple people but let's say it's going to go with ESPN they're trying to renew the deal and get them the most amount of money so just a chime in real quick on that ESPN deal that Jake Paul is talking about it was signed in 2018 for seven years and it was worth more than $1.5 billion a lot of money which eventually included pay-per-view broadcast and it says the current deal runs through 2025 so it is on its way to being resigned a part of that negotiation is hey we have Conor McGregor for two more fights but if he were to fight now that wouldn't be a part of the negotiation the company be like oh yeah well you only have Connor for one fight so that's why Connor is not fighting right now and this is what they do to the fighters is if you sign the contract that you you didn't sign if you win then you're like locked in for three more fights or something like that and there's each cont contract is different but you you basically don't want to win because then you're locked in for three more fights and then you you have all these triggers is what they're called where if you do something then this happens or if you lose then this happens and so you're basically just like owned and operated across the board but what you did is super historic because you chose to get paid less to be able to be free and then now it's worked out in your favor because you had two of the biggest boxing matches you know in the past couple of years yeah because I get to the point that I realize that uh there's more value in my freedom now obviously you know who knows who's telling the truth it's a guess right but at the end of the day there is some possibility of that being true right because the way the deal is ending and it needs to be resigned and we all know how big Connor is you know I'm sure there were some conversations at the very least about this now is this happening who knows you know Connor he injured his toe and for the most part that's why this fight with Michael Chandler has been pushed back but you know I'll leave the uh assumptions up to you guys in terms of the information that's what I do I'll provide that and you guys can tell me in the comments if you think Jake Paul is on to something or do you think it's BS and speaking of Connor he's not even looking like he's got fighting on his mind with but we know he does but his latest tweet is him about being the president of Ireland he says as president I hold the power to summon the da as well as dissolve it so as I said before I would have all the answers the people of Ireland seek from these thieves of the world working man these disruptors of the family unit these destructors of small businesses and on and on and on these charlatans in their positions of power would be summoned to answer the people of Ireland and I would have done it by Day end or I would be left with no choice but to dissolve the dial entirely stop the train until the people of Ireland deserve the answers they seek Point Blank this will be my power as president I know very well IR need an active president employed wholly by the people of Ireland it is me I'm the only logical Choice 2025 is upcoming so he's got something totally different on his mind this tweet got super views I mean like like 90 something thousand likes Elon Musk is is commenting in the comments you know everybody else it's just like you know so you know Conor he's talking about being a president now you know hopefully we'll see him in octagon but those are two totally different type of career paths here so we'll see what happens tell me what you guys think do you think Conor has a chance at being president of Ireland enough people like him you know he's very popular
