what's going on everybody Steelers rewind here on pen live Nick farall here Friday edition tomorrow I will be hopping on a flight to head to the m High City ste's playing Denver of course on Sunday and so final practice here from Pittsburgh before that game Steelers are favored to win it but let's talk about the quarterbacks Mike tomman spoke after practice Russell Wilson is going to be questionable and his chances of starting are even less than that what does that mean folks that means Justin Fields is almost certainly starting in this game as was expected we kind of saw this coming on Tuesday when Mike Tomlin spoke to the media and it seems like that's going to come to fruition so it is expected that Justin Fields will start he's been the first team quarterback all week they're preparing for that I'm sure Denver is preparing a plan for the QB Run game and all these other little wrinkles that he brings to the table but Justin Fields not Russell Wilson it sounds like at quarterback for the Steelers the other thing is the tackle situation we talked about this yesterday on Steelers breakdown today first team tackles were Troy Falon right tackle and Dan Moore Jr at left tackle brri Jones played both yet again I don't know uh what's going on necessarily there but they really like obviously Troy fanu brck Jones is banged up he has that elbow brace on I've heard he's Al he also has a right thumb injury that is really holding him back so dealing with a few injuries this might be a situation where you maybe sit him down for a little bit and hope he can get better but he's probably going to be your top backup swing tackle uh so we'll see but I think falano will be the right tackle and I think Dan Moore will be the left tackle and I think you can bring into question what the Steelers are doing here but I think that is what they are doing here I'm excited to see Troy follow T him something else I noticed and this is just another um little observation Steelers running a lot of polling stuff today I think that's a big a big boost to what they can do you know they need gap runs we've talked about this before too with Arthur Smith what he should probably be doing um and you know we saw that in the observable period and this isn't new the Steelers ran some of that last week specifically in their RPO game um but maybe maybe they lean into it more this week just kind of a feeling um so you know I think you look at what the Seahawks did against um this team last week the Denver game and they hit a lot of big runs off those I would also maybe expect to see a few Justin Fields runs like the counter play that you saw the ice the Atlanta game wouldn't be shocked if we see more of that so that's a big part and I think this is going to be a big Pat fth game I talked you know with fouth talk with Connor Hayward talk with Michael puit tight ends are going to be real big in this game man some quick game I I think they expect to have a big game they're probably going to run a lot of 13 Personnel still 12 even maybe some 14 but when you talk about the tight ends showing up big I I think they will show up very big uh in this game I think it's going to be an important thing for the Steelers all right everybody make sure to like comment subscribe turn on the notification Bell so you guys breakdown coming later today and there's more coverage of course coming live from Denver this weekend thanks for watching everybody
