Cardinals beat Brewers 7-4 in 12 innings.

well what's going on card Nation well what a game tonight what a game 7 to4 win in 12 Innings over the Milwaukee Brewers and the second of three and this was a wild wild game uh played an extra quite a bit this year so nothing new for us and well is looking like was going to be a very uh tough loss as we scored a run in the 11th inning uh but the Brewers tied it up again in the bottom half of the 11th then we got three big Insurance runs in the 12th inning so unfortunately it was a blown safe for Ryan helsley however he did get the win uh his seventh win of the season so anyway we would take an early one to nothing lead in the first as no Nado would have a sacrific fly scoring recent win and then Paul goldm with an RBI double to put us up two nothing so with Steven matz on the mount his first start first appearance since April 30th over four months since his last appearance been out ever since then with a back injury now finally is back on the mound and a pretty solid ounting uh although the Brewers were tied up in the bottom of the SEC the bottom of the Third third rather home runs by Joey Ortiz and Jackson chrio the rookie Phenom for Ortiz his 10th and for chrio his 19th uh so that would tie it up a two Berard fanas we will go back on top three to2 in the fourth as Paul gold Schmid would have a soloh run his 21st to put us back on top three to2 the Brewers are then tied up 33 is Trio with an RBI double uh as he would then advance to Third on a Fielding eror by Lars new bar so and that came off of Ryan Fernandez so mats couldn't get through five but still pretty Sol down in his return going four and third giv up three runs on on three hits stru out seven and uh before he got injured he had been pitching pretty solid uh uh he never went more than uh than six Innings though in any of his starts but still had been had been pitching pretty solid so um and yeah so we tied stay tied uh a scoreless uh seventh inning from uh Andrew kitridge uh or rather uh seventh inning scoreless from JoJo Marl then kitridge with a one 123 eighth inning and then Devin Williams the St Louis native who the last time we faced the Cardinals in St Louis would give up two runs and of course we would win that game then Matthew Liberto with the one two three ninth inning sending the game two Extra Innings then in the top of the 10th with two Runners on brison with walk but no one arado would fly out to keep a tied and then Liberator back on the mountain would walk Reese Hoskins and then a sacrifice bunt by Joey Ortiz to put Runners on first and third uh Bryce terrain trying to have a su suicide squeeze to possibly win it uh he would ground out we get the force at home and anuria would be intentionally wanted to load the bases Liberto would then strike out Blake Perkins to send the game to the 11th Paul goid will then give us the lead 4-3 scoring arado so and then Ryan Hells on the mountain looking for another another save strike out conteras and a pinch hitter Garrett Mitchell and then with two outs and on an 02 count willot Damas with an RBI double that was a ball that was just missed nearly caught by Michael canani in fact the Cardinals actually challenged it to see if it actually was a catch but it was not so the game would be tied again uh and yeah so nearly made an outstanding catch but uh call would stand so then he would get South Rel to strike out to send it to the 12th still tied and then Ivon Herrera would walk to put 200 and then Michael canani would drive into scoring Herrera and Scott and then later in the union CI would steal second but then advance to third on the throwing error and then Alec bris with the sack fly to put us up 74 hle with the one two 312th so he want to get a save but we get the win so what a game as both the the Cubs lost they got shut up by the Pirates tonight 5 to nothing they also lost last night to Pittsburgh so we're 5 and a half back of uh the Braves for that final wild card spot so and only half a game back or one game back rather of the Cubs the Mets just a half game back of the Braves as well so finale of the series tomorrow night will be sunny GRE to start against Colin Ray for Milwaukee and uh yeah Sunny Ray's been outstanding this year uh also uh in this game in the fourth inning both Cardinal manager Oliver marmal and bench coach Daniel disc Scala would both be ejected arguing a call and yeah uh and this was ironically the second time that both marmo and a scalo were ejected which the other time was back in May against the Brewers and when that happened we went on a big winning streak I believe we won like six in a row or six of seven something like that so you know maybe this should be a turning point so but we'll see see if we can win another series before coming back home so till uh Wednesday Comics were saying Gokarts
