I'd like to welcome owner and founder of designs by Kristen Kristen use joined by her husband San Francisco 49er fullback Kyle use cheek to sidewalks entertainment hi guys thank you so much for joining us yeah thank you for having so Kristen you're the owner and founder of designs by Kristen uh one of your most popular designs was the Travis couch inspired jacket that you made for Taylor Swift when did you first start creating custom rework clothing and where did you get your inspiration from yeah honestly it's been a few years now Kyle's been so fortunate to be in the league for 12 years now I feel like about 5 years into his career I just honestly kind of got sick of wearing the same thing to every game so I started just taking a bunch of t-shirts that I had and cutting them and youtubing how to make sweatpants that's kind of where it all started and then I just started challenging myself to making some fresh new design Des for each week and then it kind of just snowball from there and you know you are so talented with your work too I mean thank you you know I feel exactly the same way because you know I don't always just want to wear a jersey sometimes I wear something girly maybe a little bit feminine so I love your work abely and you are also so creative and uh thoughtful with your work too I mean you you made that jacket for Kyle that had all his teammates jerseys that he had them sign and then you also have had that jacket that you made his career of the Jersey throughout his career so really cool yeah you're just you're so very creative well thank you I appreciate that I actually had that idea for the Super Bowl for a long time it was sitting in the corner so I was excited to finally use the idea oh that's awesome well it really really came out great thank you so much so Kyle before joining the 49ers and even before becoming a professional football player from what I've read you've done really well in other sports too uh was professional football something you had always known would ultimately be your career one day um it was definitely my dream um didn't know if that was going to pan out that way but um Athletics has always been a a big part of my life um growing up I always I had two older brothers and they both uh played football uh we played basketball uh we would do baseball in the backyard all those sort of things and so I was always trying to keep up with them and the dream was always to play football so I'm I'm very happy that it panned out that way so Pina for the win challenge uh these are games where dogs and their owners can bond together through play so Kristen tell me about the Pina for the wi challenge yeah absolutely so P has issued four different challenges my favorite challenge is the busy minute challenge which gives you 60 seconds to show off your dog's favorite tricks we love it when M mitti and perogi howl they sit sit they stay they lay down and now it's your opportunity to show us all the tricks that your pets could do another great one is the beg and to play fetch challenge which gets you to go outside and play fetch with your pups whether that's through a frisbee or through a tennis Wall go outside and show us how you play fetch with your dogs and Kyle what caught your interest in being a part of this campaign oh yeah um speaking of athleticism earlier uh this was an opportunity for the super competitive and athletic family that we have uh to get our dogs involved cuz they're very competitive they're very athletic and so we teamed up this summer with Purina treats uh to launch Pina for the win and it's an opportunity like she said to go outside and participate in these Purina challenges and really get to play and bond with your dog so one last question before we wrap and this is kind of a question for your fans so when the two of you aren't working with the Pina dog challenge and Kristen when you're not working on your clothing line Kyle when you're not training with a 49ers what are your hobbies or what do you guys like to do in your free time yeah I honestly feel like truly our hobbies are enjoying just playing with our dogs and just having that down time watching movies together snuggling with our pets we really don't get too much time to just have some downtime together so we like that quality time with our our little family unit that we've built so far yeah we we really try to do so much together um even if I'm just like outside working in the garden um Kristen always likes to come out and and help out and the dogs love to help out too they love to dig dig dig dig we we really do everything as a unit I love the names that you have for your dogs to mozzarella and perogi that's awesome yes correct yes oh I love that it shows
