HOKA Tecton X3 - Jim Walmsley UTMB winning shoes

the new Hulker tecton X3 so this is a shoe that Jim Warmsley of the USA wore when he won the UTMB race last year um so it's feature packed we've got to start with twin layers of a peber midsole the top layer is soft and cushioned slightly more stability from a a slightly firmer base layer separated by carbon plates and the viam metagrip light base on the bottom of the shoe so soft and um responsive on impact twin plates run the length of the shoe so twin carbon plates and they help the shoe adapt to Contours and more technical terrain while still giving you that propulsive feel on toe off the metabase um light Bas grip actually has 4 mimet lugs so plenty of traction for pretty much wherever you're going to go in this shoe and you've got a matrix upper Matrix is a very durable yarn you've got a little bit more of um a roomy to box in the foref foot and you've got a a stretch sock like gator fit around the ankle so that helps keep debris out 5 mm drop 40 mm in the heel 35 mm of cushioning in the 4 foot and you've got a rocker through the heel into the 4 foot for a nice smooth transition as you're running certainly as you pick up the speed the combination of the peber The Rocker and the carbon plates a nice propulsive feel so that's the Hawker tecton X3
