People DON’T UNDERSTAND What The Cleveland Guardians Are Doing!

what the Cleveland Guardians are doing is unbelievable and series after series all I heard is that they will eventually cool off and this hot start isn't legit and I know they haven't played like the hardest schedule of all time but they've had some tests and they've responded every time and I think it is time to start paying attention to this team because they are here to stay and even if they do slump eventually at some point which I think they will they have proven they can be a dangerous playoff team and the scary thing is that some of the talent isn't even on the big league roster yet they have a guy by the name of Chase de Lauder who is a stud center fielder Gavin Williams will be back sometime soon they've got Kyle manzardo who is absolutely tearing it up in Triple A and it feels like some of the young players on the team in roio Brennan and even Bo Naylor are starting to get going and honestly the craziest thing is that the guards are doing all of this with a slow start from Jose Ramirez he doesn't even look like himself yet over the last decade fans have voiced their frustrations about how the dolans won't spend money on keeping players on this team and it's understanding because they have produced so much talent and have lost so much of it but if you really look into what they have done the front office has made some fantastic trades that have really paid out in the long run they're obviously not perfect they've lost guys like yand Diaz for nothing but Josh Naylor was brought in during the Mike clevinger deal Class A was brought in for Cory clubber jenz came in for Lindor and we all know Cleveland is a pitching Factory it's just a well-run organization from top to bottom and it's honestly crazy they haven't won a World Series in so long because there's been so many magical r runs and times they were so so close but that's Cleveland sports for you before I get into everything in this video I would really appreciate it if you would drop a like And subscribe it only takes 5 Seconds plus you can always change your mind we're on the road to 20K subscribers with your support I believe we can get there super fast so in the recent MLB power rankings that just came out the Cleveland Guardians were ranked number four yes you're seeing that right number four and they have the best record in the whole league and yes they have played the a six times and the white sock but what people aren't realizing at all is that one of the reasons why the A's have a bad record is because of Cleveland at the time of this recording they are 8 and 14 and without the five losses to the Guardians they would be 8- n which is around 500 so other teams really haven't been able to do what the guards have done to them to this point in the season and the guards went into Seattle a place they usually struggle in and took two of three and then they went into Fenway and took three games which is something they haven't done in decades and even against the Yankees they were really just one hanging pitch from winning that Series so to this point in the season the run the Guardians are on has been no fluke and with a new manager and really a basically new coaching staff as a whole this has been super impressive and that brings me to the first player I want to talk about who has really been leading the way to this hot start and that guy is Josh Naylor Naylor is a guy that I thought should have been an All-Star the last two seasons but this is the one that seems to be like his official breakout one he has had a clutch hit in nearly every single game up to this point and he just plays with so much energy and it spreads throughout the locker room through 22 games he has a 325 batting average six home runs and 20 RBI so at this pace he would end the season with 44 home runs and 147 RBI just incredible and I think it's time for the national media to start talking about him and give him his credit he has just been the perfect guy to back up Jose Ramirez and he has lifted a ton of pressure off his shoulder another guy that has been incredible so far into the season is Steven Quan one of the things that he told people he wanted to be better at this season was not watching first pitch get me over fast balls go right down the plate he wanted to have more of an attack mindset right from the jump and so far it has been driving pitchers crazy and he has a 358 batting average and even on outs usually his at bats are at least 5 to six pitches long so he's been so much fun to watch he has proven he's one of the best leadoff hitters in the game and on top of that he is a lock down gold Glover in left right next to him in Center is Tyler Freeman who has also been a major contributor to this team's success early Leon he's never played center field before in his life and all he has done is made every play that he's had a chance to make and he's been an okay hitter as well but it's definitely a major improvement from having my straw on the field and I was actually shocked the team finally let him go because it felt like some of the guys higher up had the mindset of we play the guy so we got to play the guy but he was such a liability on the offensive end and if Freeman is just like that going to be a solid centerfielder then it's so much more productive to have him there over having the defensive straw when he can barely hit to save his life life and when Hedges is going to be in the lineup every once in a while you can't have two straight players that are guaranteed outs and not only has Freeman been a solid center fielder he's made a few incredible diving catches back towards the track and wall so I honestly like him being the center fielder for now until Chase is ready to come up and that leaves laurano and Brenan in right field which to me is fine for now especially if Brendan can continue to elevate the ball and hit a respectable amount of home runs this really does feel like the first time in a while that Cleveland has been balanced in both contact and Power anyways for as impressive this 16-6 start has been for the guards the real tests are coming up they've got three at home against the Red Sox again and then they face the Braves who are number one in the current Power Rankings I think this is perfect for the guards to see where they are at and even if things don't go as planned that's fine as well because it's super early usually Cleveland baseball teams don't heat up until about halfway through the season and the fact that they have had this start early on in the cold could mean they are on their way to doing big things this season but only time will tell all right now I want to talk about the pitching because the guards were set to have one of the best rotations in the league but then they lost Shane Bieber for the year after just one week it was a gut punch but so far everyone around him has stepped up including Carlos Carrasco who has seemed to have kind of turned back the clock for a bit and his last few starts have been incredible now can it last for a whole season probably not but Cleveland will definitely take what they can get from him as a group entirely Cleveland pitching to this point has held opponents to an average of 218 with the league average is 240 and the OBP is only 305 the bullpen specifically has been absolutely incredible and it's just crazy how year in in year out they see the same results despite having different guys all the time I'm not saying they have an Andrew Miller Cody Allen combo but they have about Five Guys that can go in and get out of any situation at any time and really the only player that has struggled out of the pen is Tyler Bey it just feels like the guards have the hitting and pitching to put together a really solid season and even if they don't stay at the current Pace they are on on I think they clearly are the best team in the Central and we all know that once you make the playoffs literally anything can happen but the guards just need to stay healthy that's the main thing Bieber is already gone they can't afford to lose any more of their rotation and like I said Gavin Williams can be the Bieber replacement and I think by the end of the season theer or manzardo will be up helping the team as well the future is so bright and I haven't even talked about how this team just recently found out that they have the number one pick in the draft it's kind of insane this really is an exciting time to be a Cleveland sports fan between the Cavs facing the magic and round one of the playoffs the Browns being able to pick who they want and not having needs to fill in the draft and then the guards getting off to this scorching start and actually with the way things are looking all three teams might end up making the postseason in the same year which is pretty nuts to me that's really all I got for this video thank you all so much if you made it to this point and if you enjoyed and haven't
