The South Dakota Abortion ban continues (September 13th 2024)

[Music] hey guys welcome back to alien 64 Today's show a elong mon calls Australian government and the judge overturns North Dakota's um abortion band welcome back it's happy Friday everyone it's awesome it's an awesome day so the last day of the week it's the weekend for the kids that are in school so let's get right into the Crackdown the last day of the week so shall we all right hey um we got a lot to talk about so let's get into it um the first topic of today's show is Elon Musk calls Australian government Fantastics over over move to regulate online misinformation uh the guardian says Elon Musk has called the Australian government over a new legislation aimed at tackling doublet lies spread on social media social media companies could could be find up to 5% of their annual turnover under the common wealth proposed laws musk the billionaire who owns the soci social media platform X formerly Twitter responded to a post about Australia's measures on the one word fastic fanastic he wrote but the federal Minister bill um Shan said musk was inconsiderate on the free speech so what do what other politicians what do the what are their opinions on what is going going on with this this socalled misinformation online against musk so um ass the assistant Treasurer step Jones said musk's comment was both crackpot stuff Jones told ABC abct TV that the government's new bill on misinformation and disinformation was the matter of sovereignty uhoh we could have some controversy going in between these um the politicians and a couple other people and the billionaires too oh God so the second topic of today's show is Trump um declares no more debates with KLA Harris oh boy we got some we got some debates never happening between her and him so Republican theor Donald Trump said on Thursday he will not be participating in a Lal debate again again with presidential with president with vice president kamla Harris ahead of the November 5th election after several polls showed his his Democratic rival who won their debate this weekend this week so there's apparently never going to be another debate between now in November 5th so we cannot we're not going to see another debate between them both so that's something that's not going to happen so there will not be a debate in between those we'll post a full story on our community section that's right here that we have on here so that covers basically the first half of the day show we're going to talk a little bit more about what is going to happen in the next half of the day show after the talk show half of more topics and topic four has got a lot of information for today's show so let's get into topic three first The Washington Post says the judge overturns the North Dakota's near total abortion ban a North Dakota judge struck down the the state's near total uh ban on abortion Thursday saying that the state constitution gives a woman fundamental right to choose abortion before fatal availability restriction on on the right is a violation on Med medical Freedom he r a state judge state district judge Bruce Roman romanic romanic declared the law in enhanced by the legislature last year unconstitutionally void the the vag the vager the vagueness of the statue made the procedure legal in all cases except rape or incest when the woman has been pregnant or less than 6 weeks or when the pregnancy poses a serious physical threat a physical health threat doctors and other Health Care Professionals found found to it to be a violation in the law and could be charged with a felony so basically that that's going to what happens is this abortion ban is going into now a felony charges and stuff like that is happening so what could we expect more from the abortion band because the abortion band is getting out of context there's stuff happening people are getting all confused up people are spanning it and that's what basically topic 4 is just going to say it's going to say more about the abortion ban the ruling of the abortion ban and stuff like that and then it talks about the judge overturns near total abortion ban it just talks about more about the abortion ban so if you
