capable as Mississippi State of doing what Tennessee did a week ago to that Alabama defense well they're they're capable because they throw the football and the Alabama got exposed in the secondary but they're going to have to do it maybe a little bit differently or they're going to have to steal some ideas from Tennessee Tennessee did a great job last week of dictating the matchups they stacked the receiver so as you see Jalen Hyatt is able to get matched up on a safety with a free run I mean just a pure track no one in his way down the field runs it out and up nods and freezes the safeties feet and he's able to complete just flat run by him down the field okay and if that's what Tennessee does they have width they separate you to the wide side of the field so it's hard to get safety out again stacking the receivers Jalen Hyatt free release off the ball now he's able to use his speed Yeah by creating the width of the formation there's more speed there they fit it in in between the Nickelback again and the safety creating the matchup no corners covering them and they get the big touchdown Mississippi state does things differently when they get into their bunch packages in their tight packages they do it more often to throw the ball underneath and look for missed tackles afterwards right here and that's why a lot of people do play them in zone coverage we're going to sit back let you run your Crossing routes because they're all underneath and we're going to rally for the play when they do go deep you see here it's one-on-one on a corner well even though they have the width the spacing Will Rogers throws a great pass and down the field that plays to the advantage of Alabama because now that one-on-one matchup is against a corner not a safety so are they going to try to steal some of those Tennessee ideas to create different matchups to throw it vertically down the field I don't think they can get away throwing it underneath all day and beat Alabama yeah they need to over Penn State why Michigan rants for 418 yards on Penn State a team that before that game have been only given up 79 yards so for me that was the most convincing in Tennessee over Alabama last week okay I mean Alabama is is the favorite to win the National Championship in a lot of people's eyes and they were able to upset them Penn State I know is supposed to I don't we don't know how good Penn State really is I like Michigan but that certainly is not the most convincing I'm convinced I'm convinced I was convinced him maybe defensively I think a lot of people aren't convinced about Penn State we know that for sure all right Dan Ohio state has one win against the winning team Toledo but most believe they are Elite do you and why well if you look they're a complete football team and they've dominated every game they've played in so far now they can't control how good the teams are that they play that's done in scheduling scheduling has a lot to do with being a championship team as well they have a very favorable schedule they've handled their business and they've looked dominant in doing it on both sides of the floor timeout he didn't answer the question you didn't say are Mississippi schools that's that that's got to be it all right the issue is there's better players in Mississippi whoa right don't be hurt don't be here in Florida too come on I know but I mean listen I got a lot of maroon Bloods all right all right and I mean in lane at Ole Miss right now I'll tell you what those two programs maximize who they are and there is a lot of talent in the state of Mississippi and those guys get those and if I can't speak to Lane kiffin quickly the way he's playing like last week 418 rushing yards we before 418 passing yards so for me that's part of the reason and he also got the athletes from Texas and Florida did you notice the Texas guys Dan um uh who who's the Heisman front-runner right now all right I gotta go with Hendon hooker right now because of the quality of wins he has over top 25 teams he's and he is the guy he has those statement moments CJ Stroud's put up some great numbers but has not had the moments in that that Hendon hookers had so far and he'll get a chance to get a second one when he plays George obviously take care of UT Martin take care of Kentucky which say you can't Overlook Kentucky but he can have not just one but two
