we go here we go yes indeed man I'm ready for some football too um wow uh so for today's show we'll go over some week one college highlights a little bit of week two the Michigan and uh Texas game is on now Michigan's actually getting blown out like I thought they would but we can cover that real quick and then we'll go into um NFL week one we had some we had a Thursday and Friday night game both games were really good um some drama at the end of the Baltimore game on a which looked like they might be able to tie the game up but they had but they had a foot out of bounds for the tying touchdown so we can cover that and you know Dron love gets hurt in the Green Bay game in the fourth quarter so and then we'll go into the rest of our NFL predictions for all the Sunday games and the Sunday night and uh Monday night game kind of surprised that they're playing Aaron Rogers again on Monday night I think that's interesting it's like deja vu but we'll see we'll see how that one goes if I was him I like Dam can I play on Sunday so what was that four players into the season yeah hopefully doesn't happen again that would be crazy that happened again but I am curious about how long he'll last this season if he can be do a whole season I hope he can for his sake but we'll see man but uh he I got Bree I got Breeze Hall in my uh one of my fantasy leags so yeah yeah I'm with you help yeah I got Jordan love on one of mine I got Jaylen Herz in the other one so uh yeah Jordan love got hurt so I might have to put in my bet my quarterback Off the Bench so we'll see I got Brock prudy on the bench in one of my league so we'll see I might to put in Mr Brock prie so we'll see what uh we'll see what happens I might have put in Mr Irrelevant so we'll see man but uh let's get into some week one highlights man some good games there was like three top 25 matchups uh we could talk about them real quick quickly but obviously let's talk about Florida State first so we we were wondering if they were overrated and uh we didn't know for sure because we didn't want to jump the gun too quickly but obviously they absolutely are they got they look bad against um Boston College at home um Boston College pretty much had them throughout that Boston College pretty much had control throughout the whole entire game I mean FL state did make it a game looked like they might come back back you know but um their problem is is their offense man like they can't get anything going on offense um they're they're really strug on offensive side of the ball and um you know I'm really questioning uh obviously I'm a Michigan guy got my Dallas gear on now by but I do but my college team is Michigan everyone knows that but um he's an ex- Michigan defensive coor coach got the floor state job did really good last year of course obviously but his his uh going for and fourth Downs to me is very very very um questionable um when he did that early in the second half on the very first drive of the first half when they're at Midfield and it was like fourth and six I know he's trying to get something going because they're desperate they're down by two scores but I think it was 14-0 or something but um I would just punt it man play defense and hopefully pin him deep maybe hopefully get a three and out or maybe only allow one first down to him get too far then it's get the ball back hopefully in good field position um I know hindsight's always 2020 but I thought he was crazy to go for it and then up getting almost being a pick six because you know um Boston College brought the heat forced DJ ugele into a bad throw because he had he had no choice but to throw because it was fourth freaking down so he couldn't like really just throw it incomplete or eat the sack you know it probably been better in hindsight to eat the sack you know because it still be the Boston College's Ball but wouldn't be first and goal at the 5 yard line but you're not thinking about that when you're a quarterback in your trying to make a play and it's Fourth and five fourth and six you know that's easier said than done we could talk about that all day long as critics but yeah I understand why he threw the ball because he felt like he had to and it was just a bad throw um but I thought the coach set him up for failure is what I'm saying here and um yeah they should have pted the ball man what do you think about Florida State Monty yeah um the Georgia Tech loss is one thing that's ACC division early Florida State lost I think we talked about about 10 players to the uh the draft or going to the NFL I'm not sure how many were offensive but how many were defensive well obviously a lot of them were offensive because the receiver the quarterback their running back yeah I know those three for sure yeah yeah they they're struggling the score and um I just don't get this Boston College loss I mean man yeah like you you hit it right on the head talking about overrated that that's it uh forget about playf two well you can get with two losses but they're not going not losing right off the bat to these two teams um yeah it's lot to do with this nil transfer portal people leaving early uh these teams like Boston College getting better yeah to compete with these teams so it's a combination of all that no I didn't see the game but uh it's pretty clear what happened I mean these team aren't fearing these bigger teams anymore they're going up there and and playing them I mean we saw this a couple weeks ago when uh North Dakota State played up in Colorado almost beat them I mean they're they're not afraid of these teams I mean they it's pretty even now I mean it's a lot of parity that's the word I'm looking for a lot of par outside of the top maybe five teams who will beat just about anybody any given day blow him out I mean uh it's pretty even pretty much from top 10 down yeah so yeah yeah I'm puzzled about Florida State I'm G look at the rest of the schedule I don't think they're going to beat any of the the top teams that they play I think they have Notre Dame later on they won't win that game not unless something happens that's gonna be yeah they could lose to Clemson too and Clemson isn't as good as years pass but they still might lose to Clemson and who knows they might be they might get upset again by someone else man they're going to lose some games yeah but yeah yeah I'm puzzled about that Boston col game I wish I could have saw it but man I didn't expect up yeah I watched it um I watched the second half um yeah I didn't see much of the first half but I saw the second half and yeah just looked like Florida state was gonna make it a game but then right when they scored one of their touchdowns and make it a onore game you know um Boston CLE scored again but you know they had but Florida State was just unraveled they were getting unhinged they had so many dead ball personal foul penalties I know that was one big thing that led to the Boston College scoring right again and make it a two-score game right again and they did it throughout the game obiously in the fourth quarter a lot of that was just frustration because they knew they were probably going to lose but you know yeah they just yeah they were getting a lot of penalties dead ball personal foul penalties those are 15 yards those are big ones and that was keeping the drive going for Boston College and forid State Defense can't stop the run I know that's one weakness they got so far in both these two games that Georgia Tech ran ran on them and so did uh Boston College because both Georgia Tech and Boston College had mobile quarterbacks and they were both just running on them and Georgia Tech had a really good running back but for yes Boston College was more about their quarterback running and throwing so uh he was a really good running quarterback he was just he was just carving them up man but uh yeah Florida State absolutely overrated but let out of the top 25 let's get into um a really good game uh nor Dame beat Texas Texas A&M in a very good game that was mostly a defensive game offens offense open up a little bit in the fourth quarter for um Notre Dame they end up kicking the field goal to make it a two-score game to win by 10 but it was pretty much a one-score game throughout the whole entire game and that was a wellplayed game that was exciting game to watch but I guess I to take I have to retract my statement Notre Dame is not overrated I think my boy Michigan's overrated but Notre Dame is not overrated uh like I said I knew they were a legit top 15 team but I didn't know if they're like a legit top 10 top five team but maybe they are this year they looked pretty dang good Texas is not easy place to play College Station week one and they looked yeah first first half neither team did much on offense it was a field goal kind of game but you know uh but they kept their composure kept on playing and they they had a good second half and uh they won this game that was a good game yeah to go in the hostile territory at College Station where it's tough for anybody to go in and and win the game I don't care who you are it's it's tough man um they got me convinced uh from just from the it test um yeah yeah this coach good young coach Marcus Freeman looks like these kids will run through a wall for this m Absolut they do anything for that guy probably one of the best young coaches in the country I mean and the have opportunity the coach Notre D yeah man I mean I mean he made like a j harball type run man but um that's easily a top five Team U National Championship Contender for sure just from the it test I mean I don't like Notre Dame but I mean watching football this time I know a good team when I see one and man to go in there and handle Texas A&M and Texas A&M is a good team as well I mean they they play yeah they're legit top 25 team they yeah they can bounce back they look good yeah they look good they still might be in contention to make one of the top 12 teams it's I mean it's only we're only in week two so right long as they don't lose another game they still have a chance so we'll see how they do but they look good too so yeah I mean Ty of foot like a good back and forth it could have been whoever had the ball last type game it was almost like that yeah um hard hidden I mean receivers making plays I mean I I love it a great game I want Texas A&M to win that game but I was going for Texas but Nord Dame played well yeah I like what I saw from them and I mean they're on TV every weekend anyway so I whenever I get a chance I'm going to watch him and see how um see how they can keep this run I don't think they'll go undefeated uh one loss maybe but yeah for sure they'll contend for nation Championship yep all right man last week one game uh man USC pull off the upside against LSU we thought they're playing at LSU LSU was the home team that's what we covered but actually the game was in Las Vegas neutral site but I guess LSU was home team so I should have read that a little bit better but um oh man Alice you can't win season open that's for sure they've lost like or four in a row I think and uh I mean they played good they didn't play bad but um golly man USC's quarterback he he came in in a bowl game for Kaya Williams since kayy Williams set out for the NFL and he had a really good bowl game and he just Contin from that and he looked really good well over 300 yards um I think but the but the both quarterbacks over 300 yards LSU quarterback looked good too I do think he made one mistake late in the game which kind of hurt them can't remember exactly what it was but I do think he made one I think he did I don't think he threw an interception but they had to settle for a field goal or something he didn't get they didn't get in the end zone that kind of hurt them because they kind of they got it in the Red Zone but they didn't you know get the touchdown if I remember correctly can't remember the whole game but I remember something like that where you know they got stuck they the defense held so that might have hurt them a little bit that gave USC some momentum but um that was a big win for USC and USC's defense they're not lights out but their defense has improved that's what surprised about USC is like they they were they were getting off the field like wow I mean they're not going to be a top 10 defense by any stretch of imagination but they looked a lot better than last year man for sure at least in week one so far so yeah couldn't believe it man that was a big win yeah um we talked about USC's defense last time we talked about this and it's clear that that the coaches addressed that problem during the off seon absolutely night night and day I mean I mean they're not gonna be the number one defense in college football but they're a lot better than what they were and especially against LSU's LSU is known for having a high-powered offense every year and they didn't hold him they they stayed with them yeah and that's why I thought LSU was going to win this game I thought USC's defense would continue to be horrible but they weren't right a lot better and it's clear that they address that issue and defenses usually get better during the season so how USC's defense is down the road game five game six that that'll be something to watch I agree um let's get into week two Michigan before NFL uh so week one Michigan beat presno state 30-1 but that score is a little bit misleading um because they had to pick six at the end it was 2310 before that happened um it was only 1610 going in the fourth quarter I did say freso state was no cupcake but even though they were no cupcake Michigan absolutely should have had the game in hand going into the fourth quarter they should have had like a three score lead at least maybe even a four score lead but at least three they should have been up like 17 20 21 points man not a 16 to 10 game um credit Michigan for getting the the 2310 score with you know that was offensive touchdown so they did get a touchdown to get a two-score game and then a pick six in the like last three or four minutes five minutes whatever um but the 310s misleading I knew their offense was gonna be a question because just like Florida State they lost a lot of players to NFL I think Michigan set a record last year in or this year in NFL draft with like 13 players being drafted did something we covered in our NFL draft show um they had a lot go so did udubb of course the match up in the championship game they both had like CR over double digits players going to the draft um the Michigan's still good defensively I don't think they're as good as last year but they're still pretty good I think they're a top 10 defense I don't think they're a top five defense and definitely not what I'm seeing today with the Texas A&M but they've been on the field field a lot today but um week so right now the week two game is going on Texas you know Michigan Michigan dropped one Michigan dropped from number nine to number 10 and and Texas went from number four to number three so it was a 310 matchup in Michigan and um yeah Michigan absolutely has no offense the score was 24-3 at halftime it's currently 31-6 with about five minutes to go in the game so Michigan's absolutely just getting the break speed off of them uh they got no offense only 88 yards offense in the first half four first downs and they had less 100 yards of offense against Fresno State and Fresno State is no Texas no disrespected Fresno State but they're not Texas man they're not top five they're good but they're not that yeah yeah um so Michigan absolutely has no offense I do like Michigan's new head coach I think he's gonna be good in the long run but um yeah they just can't throw the ball they could just they know Michigan likes to run that's their think but if you can't can't you got but you got to be able to throw the ball so they just can't key on the run every all game and the only person they really have to throw to an offense is Loveland they're tight end which is he'll be a high draft pick this year yeah so um they're in a lot of trouble this year I I think mig's gonna lose three or four games I they're not gonna be in the playoffs if Michigan makes I know there's a long way to go and I want to get I'm usually an optimistic guy not a pessimistic guy but I could see Michigan losing more games I could see him losing to Ohio State you know the Rival game they could win that game but I don't see them winning forign roll if they play like the way they're playing now um they could lose to other ranked teams in a big 10 like they're gonna have a hard time against good competition in a big 10 this year so they could easily lose three to four games um I don't see him making the CB Play I'm I hope I'm wrong but Penn State has a hard time get over Michigan and Ohio State that they always make fun of Penn State about that but I could see Penn State finally getting over the hump against Michigan this year if if it continues the way it's going now and they're and Penn State's head coach Frank Franklin needs that before he gets fired because he's horrible against ranked teams in his career pen I'm actually surprised he's still there but they're giving him one more chance so if he if he can't do it this year then he's gone but they finally might be able to beat Michigan this year the way Michigan's looking but can Michigan improve yes but um I think they're going to struggle on offense all year round all year long because their quarterbacks are just inexperienced and and that's the difference in today's game is ERS is a legit NFL quarterback and he's carving up Michigan on off on you know Michigan's defense on the passing passing game so um my dad said he was hoping to be a close game my dad would say Michigan still might be able to you know make it a game but I told Dad like Dad I love you but I think you're wrong I think Michigan's gonna get blown out I was hoping I was wrong but unfortunately um I wasn't but Michigan has no offense so what do you got on this brother I know it's dring on a little bit sorry yeah it's just a tough draw for Michigan to um get Texas the second game of the season I mean Texas always has one of the top if not the top recruiting classes every year they lost Robinson but they just reload man they just reload like you mentioned they got ERS maybe a Heisman Trophy candidate don't know if he'll win it but he'll he'll be a candidate for sure um his backup is a a Manning so you know how they are quarterbacks yeah and Michigan just lost way too much I mean um I think both of their running backs their quarterback obviously couple of offensive linemen to just um to draw Texas this early uh seeing Texas down the road on a different schedule maybe uh game five or game six we may see a better game I don't think they would win it but might be a bare competition game but just to draw Texas at this time you know Texas is a little bit ticked about losing in the playoffs last year they have a lot to prove yeah um and they're still playing the defending national champions I don't care how much Michigan lost that's how they're looking at it so yes to knock them off I mean that's just extra motivation for Texas and that's all it is I mean just a bad draw for Michigan right now to play Texas yeah they're not ready for that's why I told my dad like they're not like I agreed with you like if it was middle of season where they can work out their offensive issues and it could be a much better game like you said yeah especi if it's still in Michigan at an arbor but yeah second week of the year Michigan's just not ready for a Texas team that's what I was afraid of and Michigan had a lot of turnovers this game they just had another one now like they had two turnovers in the first half interception by the quarterback on a tip pass and he shouldn't have thrown it it was like third and five but they just can't complete passes he was thrown in the coverage he got tipped interception then Loveland or tight end caught the ball but then he fumbles it when he's running he's like loses control of the ball holding on to it with one hand which is mistake I think he was trying to switch hands maybe or something I don't know he fumbles it and Texas has the ball at at Michigan's 40 yard line so they don't have very far to go and Michigan's already down two scores that's what made the three-score game at Halftime you know and and I watched Michigan turnover right now receiver catches the ball this this time he actually got knocked out it's a good defensive play but I won't really fult the receiver on that one that was just a really good strip by the defensive back but yeah man turnovers and they just can't execute on offense man um they have they they need to hopefully Michigan's quarterbacks will get better as the season goes along because they're both really young they're they're playing a two quarterback system with Warren and orgy but the problem with orgy is they I know he's in there to run the ball but Texas was keen on that in this game every time orgy came in they knew he would run it and they just stuffed him so I know orgy is the run around the two but like I was telling my dad occasionally he needs to throw so they don't know think he's going to run every single in time so they can load up on him you know they have to like be more creative with that man so uh if they're going to still do this two quarterback system but yeah it's 316 to 344 to go um maybe Michigan got got the ball back they had the ball maybe they did maybe they said it wasn't a fumble I think they got lucky or they got it back again I don't know but anyways Michigan does have the ball somehow like right at Midfield so that's surprising but anyways uh yeah Michigan is not I was question if Michigan was a legit top 10 team they're not they're going to fall they're probably going to fall like to 20 or something I don't think they'll be out of the top 25 since they won their first game they're going to drop right big time so I'm predicting they'll be like 19 or 20 and K another thing about these games I I know a lot of teams do this it's a long way to go a long way to go I I'm sure um Michigan went into this game no one what they were up against I mean this is a tough task this team and they got tough um schedule down the road anyway and a lot of times they just don't want to show too much I mean yeah gota play Pence I think Penn State's on their schedule of course Ohio State uh the other teams in their uh division or conference or whatever the case may be but might be just little vanilla right now for a reason maybe yeah yeah we we'll go ahead and take the L on this one let's save what we got in our Arsenal for down the road I don't know but I know a lot of teams do this this could be it it could be and like I said I like Cerone Moore mois whatever his name is new Michigan head coach he did great last year with all the har ball suspensions so I really like him he's a good pick for them so I like him in the long run but this year is just G to be a tough tough year for him yeah but we'll see what happens as the season goes along but if they don't fix the offense they're going to struggle throughout the whole entire year and and lose a couple more games here and be out of the playoffs he he was their def offensive coordinator offensive coordinator okay okay yeah he was their offensive coordinator but let's uh let's move the NFL um so we had we had games on Thursday and Friday night the Baltimore KC game was the nil B come down to the very end and then we talk about that one first I didn't watch the game but I heard about I mean KC won 2720 I had my high school you know Varsity gamees on Thursday Frid night so I couldn't watch the games but I saw the score once I got done with my game and I heard about the drama with the replay if there wasn't a replay they might have kind of that touchdown I think they did originally but then they went back to replay on scoring and then they realized the guy's foot was like barely out of bounds I'm talking like inches like his like his front toe was just like like an inch or two man but it was a right call because in NFL in college they review scoring plays I know they do in NFL for sure so um yeah that was right call but that was a close nil biter game man uh KC you know the defending Super Bowl champs won 2720 in a very very good game man so what do you got on that one brother I don't think me either me you watched that one you said he watched no man um a rematch of the uh playoff um last year AFC Championship yeah and this could be a preview yeah of this year's in AFC Championship I mean I could almost I might call that now that we might see this we'll see this again agree yeah just man Lamar Jackson has trouble beating Patrick chomes but who's beaten him the past couple season I mean yeah Mahomes got his Rings man he's got what two now he's got two two yeah two three two three three he's got three yeah he's got three looks to me that uh KC reloaded man that guy uh worthy I think he came from Texas um he he scored on a I think reverse so yeah they're they're going for three for sure I mean that that's that's all their mind and man just so unfortunate just by a toenail to not get that touchdown yeah that's all it was man High School front highlights game that would still be a touchdown if we call the field we don't go back to replay wherever we call That's it man so they had the replay and that's how it got you know overturned man but it was definitely the right call but that was a really good that was a really good opening game for the NFL everyone wants to tell about how good of an opener game that was um the second game on Friday I believe was being played in Brazil so we're trying to bring the NFL to Brazil Green Bay and and the Eagles in Brazil um Eagles win 34-29 but the biggest take away in that game is uh Mr Young Mr Jordan love getting hurt in the fourth quarter he has some kind of leg injury don't know what it is but he didn't look good coming off the field and um yeah we don't know what his diagnosis is I I don't think they've said yet they're still like evaluating him but he he's definitely gonna miss some games we don't know if it's like a like a three or four week you know or is it a season Ender like how long this guy's gonna be out you know so he's definitely gonna be out for a couple weeks I'm sure more than likely but didn't see what happened of course by just yeah he wasn't on a cart which is good but he but he was being helped off the field by some of his teammates and and the trainer so he wasn't like under his own power completely he looked like he was hurting a little bit so yeah we'll we'll see we'll see man but uh some kind of look like a cal injury I'm hoping it's not an accuse I mean pull your accuse I've seen people walk on that and not know later and yeah he looked like he had a really bad limp going on just wasn't yeah under completely like walking away he needed a little bit of assistance you know that's what I saw like in just a quick highlight I didn't see the high of the play but I just saw like a highlight of him walking off the field and looked like he was hurting so yeah yeah didn't look good um but yeah but yeah e Eagles wi 3429 so both games we're very close games you know so we've had a good start to the you know NFL season it was cool the game was in Brazil trying to get NFL out to Brazil I know we play overseas a lot like in Europe and London especially I know lately Germany the past couple years but London for sure like for a while you know Jacksonville Jaguars that's their team over there so yeah but now they're starting to get it to other places around the world and I we had some games in Mexico also so that's just they're really trying to expand their uh their Network for sure but uh let's get in some uh predictions for Sunday's game and Monday's game uh Panthers at Saints man who do you got man I think the Panthers are G well they're still young um man much I would like Caroline to win this game I don't see it I I like her to win I hope Bryce young has a better second year I think he will but I don't think they're gonna win either New Orleans has one of the better defenses in the league it's they sure do yeah I'm I'm going with New Orleans I'm going with New Orleans as well I think that's an easier pick um Vikings at Giants um I'll pick this one first but I got the Vikings I think that will be I think Viking well well maybe I'll take that back because you know we don't know what the quarterback situation is in Minnesota Vikings world I know Sam Donald start but he but he has so many weapons so I'll stick with the Vikings I'll stick with my guns because he has Justin Jefferson he's got Aaron Jones you know he's got what T.J hackinson or whatever he's got a lot of he's got a lot of Playmakers so he's needs he just needs to give the ball to him and manage the game man this could be a Redemption for Sam darnold man getting his chance with the without the New York Jets who have been historically bad like forever it seems like so um I got the Vikings man hey play of the watch for the Giants malague neighbors yes talk about him a lot I meant to bench him and I by mistake I didn't mean to start him I have this team I have a couple pretty good receivers and I benched Reed yesterday man for Green Bay dog dumb dang it you never know when you're doing fancy though it's so hard to tell man it's hard I have Watson in my other league and he scored yesterday and I played him so uh yeah I'd like to see neighbors get a couple of touchdowns but giant still gonna lose this game I got missa yeah Patriots at Bengals I'll let you take that one first oh um what's the deal with Jamar Chase man he's hurt or what's going on I'm hearing he may not play yeah not 100% sure what's going on him but yeah they need him that's for sure yeah you got Burl coming off an injury um this team's going to battle for their division uh I'm going with uh Cincinnati I'm going with Cincinnati as well Patriot's got a rookie quarterback Drake May hopefully he has a good NFL debut game he looked okay in preseason he was up and down like a rookie quarterback but I definitely see why they draft him number three the third quarterback to go because he looks good but he also looks you know like a rookie at times which is expected but um I'm picking the Bengals for that reason and I think Joe bur will come back and make a state so I if I'm not mistaken I believe uh they made the decision to startet inste of made oh they did they did they yeah they did make that okay they did make the decision I didn't hear that because I knew it looked like they're leading with they weren't sure who they're gonna go with but yeah he's a veteran that makes sense to me in my mind he's pretty solid he's pretty solid but I still I'm still gonna pick Cincinnati I'm still going to pick the Bango too but I'm glad you corrected me on that I know they're fighting for a starting position [Music] um Steelers at Falcons um even with all the drama with cback situation um I want to pick the Falcons but after they got Kurt Cousins the big trade Michael penx is their backup Steelers go but dirty birds just never played good man but this is no what I I will go with the Falcons originally I had the Steelers but I I'll take the Falcons hopefully Kurt Cousins gets off to a good start he's got a lot of Playmakers too he's got Drake London he's got other guys out there they have a decent running back um yeah I I'll take the Falcons but I just know how the Falcons have been since they lost at the Super Bowl they're not haven't been very good you know they're still terrible yeah they've been bad since that huge comeback by New England Patriots in Super Bowl you know four or five years ago however long it was so um I'll pick the Falcons what do you got Monty man uh I just heard today that they're GNA go with Justin uh fields to start it won't be Russell Wilson but he's hurt I think it's a calf injury or something like that uh so the thing is Pittsburgh does this to me every year I don't think I picked them right ever it's hard to pick them they're so up and down they always finish with a winning record somehow so yeah the games I pick him to lose they win and vice versa I'm gonna pick against them this game I'm just because I think Atlanta might be the better team um this very well could be tomlin's First losing season I mean this yeah this might be the worst Pittsburgh team he's coached since he's been there uh on paper now on paper uh plus his division's tough I mean all the I mean they could come in last I mean all these teams are real good yeah they have a tough division you're absolutely right so but you never know Mike Tomlin always finds a way he does that's why he's a great coach yeah but yeah I'm gonna pick against them I'm gonna pick Atlanta but like I said every time I pick against them they win so they're hard but NFL Any Given Sunday is hard man it's easier to pick college games high school games you know I'm those upsets in those level games too but NFL is so hard man Sunday and don't know what the teams are going to do you know because they're all NFL athletes and sometimes some can just have a really big game you know and yeah you know it's hard NFL is so hard to predict compared to co I think college is much easier to predict yeah so next game Texon at Colts um I'll let you take that one first oh man division game right off the bat yeah right off the bat and they had a lot of drama at the end of last year last Texans won that game to get into the playoffs because whoever won that game was it was going to the playoffs I believe and Texans won that game what I like about this game Ken is the quarterback match up we got Richardson coming back for uh the Colts who was injured last year yeah he was my pick for uh offensive rookie of the year I mean till he got hurt yeah he was looking good until he got his shoulder injury yeah yeah oh man that's gonna be something else um H to have that sophomore um let down with the rookie coach rookie quarterback I don't see it I think they got Joe Mixon picked up on that team I a running back on my f te by the way let's go Joe Mixon but I'm going with um the Texans um yeah I haven't gone against you so far maybe we'll have a difference in one of these games later on but uh I'm going with the Texans too I like CJ stad yeah he really played well second half of the Year otin Colts do want revenge they're very capable of winning they were competitive last they improved a lot last year from the season before where they were horrible um they almost made the playoffs last year you know it came down the last game of the year um because the Jacksonville Jaguars were in the mix too it was like a three they had like a three-headed monster whoever depend on what happened all three of those teams that who would get in you know so I know but I know the Texans obviously got in they W they upset you know of course no one saw that coming they upset Cleveland you know in Cleveland so yeah I got the Texans I think CJ St is going to play well again this year I don't see having a sophomore let down either um Cardinals at bills to me this is one of the easier matchups I got the bills all the way at home yeah um yeah I know what's his name is coming back for the Cardinals their quarterback he he's been hurt a lot because he's under sized and he runs a little bit I like him but he's always hurt um and bills are is a good regular season team they can't figure out in the playoffs like the Cowboys they can't get past KC you know but um they're a pretty good regular team I see them winning their home opener against Arizona yeah I don't think they'll have any problems with Arizona uh 10-point win yep yeah this is an interesting one uh this because there's another rookie quarterback playing but Titans at the Bears number one pick in the draft who you got in that one Monty you think he'll go to a good start Titans obviously had a horrible year last year fired their coach I mean they've made the playoffs in the past though with that guy you know he is a pretty good coach over OB he played for New England Patriots under bellich he you know he was a good coach but he got let go and I don't know the Titans will bounce back or not um so who do you got I I'll let you take it I'm talking too much man the Titans they made a couple of good pickups they have uh Tony Pard on that team they're yes they do yeah yeah so I don't know the Bears when I think of the Bears I think of as a a running team but not with Cale Williams they got Roman dun rookie receiver youer in this draft man a lot so I'll be watching the Bears a lot I'm interested and how well they'll do and I'm gonna go with the Bears Caleb Williams getting his first win against the Titans I think they will I think they're gonna get off to a good start yeah because I don't know much about Tennessee I know Caleb Williams is a rookie quarterback number one picking the draft so there a lot of pressure on him but he's got a lot of Playmakers as well yeah and their defense is usually pretty good so yeah yeah one the be defenses yeah Bears always usually have a good defense their question marks always been on the offensive side of the ball but we have no doubts about their defense yeah so um yeah I'm going with the Bears um Jags at the dolphins of Florida matchup um I'll take the Dolphins I like Trevor Lawrence you know Jags have been good the past two or three years they've been to the playoffs a couple times almost I think they I I can't they squeaked I can't remember if they squeaked in the plays last year or not I know Houston got in but I can't remember if they got in also but I know they were like they were like on that like they're that three head of monster like I said before but anyways uh I think Tua will do good they got Tyreek Hill they got Tua they have a good running game too a chain whatever his name is and yes yeah they they got they're explosive on offense and their defense isn't bad either um I got dolphins all the way yeah probably overall the fastest uh as far as speed goes offense in the league man it's yeah it's tough once Hill gets out in the open forget it you're not not gonna catch the guy got cheetah man oh man he's something else but um yeah I have Miami winning bar yeah should be good that could be a blowout we'll see though like I said it's Any Given Sunday who knows we could come back saying how much we were wrong but you you never know um Broncos at Seahawks who you got in that one I'm in Seahawks country so I know all 12 obviously oh man but I don't know about them they look suspicious but I don't know about the Broncos either that's this is a hard one to me man I either both teams are kind of suspicious to my mind I saw a guy wearing the bow Nicks Jersey a couple weeks ago for Denver I was like man okay okay I guess they're roll on their quarterback I think he's one of their team captains so he's impressed him yeah yeah so that that's good but um no um I'm going up the Seahawks at home I agree 12s will make a difference I think B Knicks will play well but Seahawks got a lot of questions they they lost a lot of players also like they're we don't know they lost a lot of players on defense Bobby Wagner left again now he's playing for the Washington commanders yes and um we're not sure how well um the quarterback I like him he was a comeback Player of the Year a couple years ago I'm thinking of his name I'm losing my what's his name I know his name it's on the tip of my tongue um uh I can't think it was name either the New York Jets quarterback you know he was a backup for Russell Wilson a long time I know his name sorry viewers I I know I know who he is but um uh I still know about the Seahawks I I will pick him to win uh the first game of the year um I don't know why his name is escaping me but just is Daniel Smith huh Gino Smith Gino Smith there we go yeah the guy who got fight with teammate in New York Jets got a black guy yeah he's a run his mouth a lot but he hasn't but he has matured a lot I like him he's definitely a comeback CL I like his story um Raiders at Chargers uh Harbaugh wait yeah Harbaugh is the Chargers coach because Ram got their guy so yeah um obviously you got um what uh Justin Herbert there my guy from Michigan Blake km went there um interested to see how Harbaugh will do in his debut Raiders obviously had a horrible year last year in Las Vegas yeah you know you know Devonte Adams is just pissed off because they went throwing the ball I know him and what's his name had a really bad relationship it's on that show receiver I haven't seen yet but my friends said that show was really good because they were following the receivers last year instead of the quarterbacks from the year before so there if you so people viewers um check out the Netflix show NFL wide receiver I haven't seen yet but couple my co-workers said it's really good and it follows like three or four receivers throughout the League last year Devonte Adams is one of them and let check it out I haven't seen it either yeah but yeah there it goes and yeah they pick three or four receivers in actually a couple tight ends I think the San Francisco um 49ers tight end George kdo was in it as well so um yeah some four or five big names are in it so it's cool that'll be interesting but um I got the Chargers to win at home I think uh Jim Harbaugh company will get it done at home yeah how about the match up with the coaches you have um Harbaugh I think that team fits him well you got Antonio Pierce um Raiders coach uh from the LA area I mean to everybody most people there's still the Oakland Los Angeles Raiders for most people I don't think of as Vegas but um that's a team that fits them well I mean the NFL's better when that team's good but that team's rebuilding right now they're gonna have a season have a very rough season yeah and um so yeah I I think um the Chargers should shouldn't have any problems yeah I'm with you Cowboys at Rams our team America's team obviously everybody know who we got because we're wearing the jerseys and the hat we got the Cowboys winning at the Browns but that's not gonna be an easy game because Browns got one of the best defenses in the league might be number one might be number one or number two but definitely top three in my opinion for sure yeah um see how Dak Prescott and cidd lamb do because cidd lamb obviously got signed late you know he's only had two weeks hopefully that's enough um for him to have enough time with Dak Prescott hopefully Dak Prescott do just doesn't throw any pick sixes and has doesn't have a bad not against this defense he better not but uh we gota be able to run the ball obviously we we we're both very suspicious on the Cowboys running game so we'll see how the Cowboys do with their Trio of running their Trio of running backs and uh yeah if we're able to run the ball and Dak doesn't throw pick sixes I think we'll win the game but it's gonna be very close yeah uh one match up I'm looking at how would you like to be the rookie uh left tackle and face miles Garrett your first game oh my God yeah oh my goodness the Oklahoma State guy that's right G yeah so I don't know if they're going to have him try to block this man by himself we're g to give him help I I don't know um that's something I'm gonna be watching closely I'm gonna be watching that matchup and to your point about the running game Dallas's running game um I think uh Rico Dalo was named the starter but they're they're gonna go by committee I don't know if they took dvin cook off the uh practice squad or not but um H they they have some question marks offense they got a new center a new rookie Center uh like I mentioned the left tackle um they still got the receivers they still have uh Jake Ferguson who's a solid uh receiver yeah defense is good we got Diggs coming back yeah here's my problem uh they didn't sign Gilmore and blands out for a few weeks so we'll see who's on the other side we'll see what happens but I'm going for Dallas of course okay Dallas I just hope it isn't a blowout obviously I want obviously I want them to win but if they lose but it's a close really good game I like then I'll be obviously I still be a little bit disappointed but I just don't want Dallas to be blown out if they play if it looks like they played good like where they pass the eye test with me but they just come up a little bit short then I'll be okay at least that's something to build off of and not getting completely destroyed yeah lose by a last second field go or something like that yeah so we'll see man um commanders at bucks um I got I know Commander got a lot of new players and everything and I'm going to Bucks because I like how they played I like how Baker Mayfield played got the playoffs last year um I I'm I'm going with the Bucs on this one who do you got Monty here's what I pick the up up up I like um I mean Dan Quinn coaching this team uh former defensive coordinator for the Cowboys pick yeah foret yeah upet yeah I'm g go watching okay yeah I mean that's a tough one but yeah we'll see how that we'll see how that one comes out it's an upep I mean on paper they should win this game but this is my this will be my upset special yeah there's gota be one so we'll see who's right and wrong at next show um yeah oh here's another interesting match up Sunday Night Football I love this match up for Sunday Night Football Rams at lions obviously everything going on with the quarterback switching teams the old La Lions quarterback is the Rams quarterback and vice versa then you know now the Rams quarterback is the Lions quarterback and he's he's had a Redemption getting them into the playoffs last year I still think their coach is a complete Meathead for everything everything he did in the NFC championship game in the third quarter going for it on Fourth Downs instead of just kicking field goals and being up by three scores and kind of putting the game Out Of Reach I know all the Detroit fans players support him I think that's also on this receiver show because I think they're they were they were following mon State Brown for receiver yes so they all support him but I think he's CRA I thought he was crazy and you just don't know if he can get back to that s if that you know you don't know if the Lions can ever get back to the NFC championship game again can they yes because they have a lot of talent but but look at Seattle not getting back look at Dallas not getting back look at Buffalo Bills not getting back you just don't know man um but I got the Lions win this game at home I think it's going to be a very good game I like like I like gf's success story like him reinvent himself in Detroit lot Detroit's got a lot of Talent on offense they do have a good coach I think their coach is good so don't get me wrong viewers I think I think he is a good coach I think he was a complete Meathead though in that playoff game could have been a Super Bowl um yeah I got the Lions but Rams have a very good coach too McVey is a very aggressive coach I like him yeah the Rams are going to give H San Francisco a run for their money for that Division I mean I don't see San Francisco running away with it at all um I'm close to picking the Rams to win that division yeah but it's uh to go to Detroit I mean top one of the top teams in the league uh and I think Detroit's for real I think that same old Detroit that we've seen in years past those days are over I think this team's legit so I I have a Detroit winning their opener I got a TR win opener too I just wish I just I just can't believe what Campbell did but it is what it is hopefully he can get back and hope I just hope he can get back to the NFC champ game and get to the Super Bowl if he can't that's what everyone's gonna talk about that's gonna be his a kill so if he can't get to the Super Bowl as the the Lions coach so we'll see Monday Night Football I can't believe they're playing Aaron roders again on Monday night after what happened last year but Jets at the 49ers um I got I'll let you pick that one but I hopefully Aaron Rogers does not get I'll let you pick this one first but I hope Aaron Rogers does not get hurt four plays in like last year oh man I I hate the 4 can't can't stand the 409ers but nether to yeah I'm with you I'm I'm gonna pick with my head here in pick San Francisco and it's gonna be a good game I mean um the Jets we've been talking about defense the whole show another top defense uh offense is good you got Aaron Rogers of course uh a good receiver the best running backs in the league and Bree Hall uh you might have the running best running back in the league when he's healthy Christian mcaffrey plus to mention you we have IU Deo Samuel and that defense they're San Francisco's loaded man It's just tough to go to bet against them so I'm gonna go with San Francisco yeah I agree we don't know how we don't know how well Aaron Rogers is going to do since he never saw what he can do last year with them um you got Garrett Wilson you know really good receiver if him and Aaron Rogers could connect but I heard there's been a lot of issues in train camp where they just been off sync yeah of course they didn't play in any preseason games but I heard I know Brandon was talking about one of our co-host on the show like where there's been like no connection with them but that was a couple weeks ago so maybe they finally did get the connection but I know a couple weeks ago you know Brandon was saying yeah they had a horrible week that week of them that just the starting offense the Aaron Rogers and receivers just weren't doing well together but that can change obviously because Aaron Rogers is a veteran you know and everyone was so excited for him last year saying they could get to the Super Bowl with the with the New York Jets defense and Aaron Rogers at quarterback and Bree Hall and Garrett Wilson all these guys like they look like a little some people thought they might go all the way last excuse me last year of course he get he gets hurt four games mean four plays into the SE into the game so um yeah I'm not going against the 49ers either they're just too loaded yeah I hate them being a Cowboys fan just like you all the SE Seahawks fans in my world up here the pack Northwest they hate them being a major divis that's their biggest division rivalry but um 49ers are good though they're legit yeah their problem is is Shan handis does not know how to coach in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl so he has two Super Bowl losses to the Kansas City Chiefs having leads going into the fourth quarter against the Chiefs he's lost both of them he just doesn't do good in the fourth quarter he does some weird stuff the first three quarters he's legit the fourth quarter he does weird crap I think it hurts their team so don't know if he over that hump yeah just he overthinks I mean go what got you there I yeah overthinking I'll kill you so we will see but yeah um so we only had one game where we disagreed so we'll see we'll see who's right about the commanders and Bucks you could be right I'm predicting you're probably going to be right so B at the buck I won't
