tick tocker Caleb graves's final post is shedding light on his tragic passing on September 8th the tick tocker and Avid Runner collapsed and was pronounced dead after competing in Disneyland's half marathon and made a three-digit Heatwave in California now fans are looking back at the 35-year-old's last video in which he spoke about the high temperature impacting his run the day prior to the event Disneyland half marathon the Halloween half marathon is tomorrow and I'm marginally worried now I don't know if I have so I went outside today around like 2:00 which is you know part of the hottest part of the day it's like 90 something degrees in you know there are other places in the country that are obviously hotter I know people are going to say it's like H it's not turple I grew up in Texas I know what he is like but the UV exposure with the heat in in Southern California is its own kind of Beast Caleb goes on to detail worrying experience in the high heat I have maybe some susceptibility I don't know if it's temporary or longterm to heat because I was outside for like 20 minutes walking my dog just walking around the block and it was hot but I felt fine um and then I came in and then like 10 minutes after I got back in I just passed out just fell asleep no control over my body it was heat exhaustion cuz it's only happened once to me before I don't know what that that's up for what that's what's going on in a subsequent post Caleb again warned followers of the high heat writing stay hydrated and listen to your body good luck to all the runners however in a heartbreaking turn of events Anaheim Police confirmed to People magazine that Caleb collapsed immediately after the half marathon and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital after receiving Medical Care there at the race site explaining to the out LED that the race quote started at 5:00 a.m. and after finishing the 13 miles in under 2 hours quote he crossed the Finish Line he started grabbing his chest one of the workers noticed and ran up to him and caught him before he collapsed adding Medics realized Caleb had gone quote into cardiac arrest performing life-saving measures and transported him right away to the hospital they worked on him for an hour but he was pronounced deceased at the hospital Hospital police note that the Orange County coroner's office would be handling the autopsy but the report could take weeks or months to be released adding I've spoken to medical professionals who say that one or two cardiac events can happen during a big race like this but the deaths are rare Caleb was 35 years old [Music] [Music]
