all right we're going to draft the winners of the 2024 preseason now that it is in the books after three games although two of the teams played a fourth game who do you have well I mean I want to do something broad I don't know if I'm cheating here but I want to say rookie QBs oh yeah that's a little broad a little broad okay you have some on your because I might want to pick the other one okay all right well then I'll go with Caleb Williams a I mean yes it's just because of everything there well there you know you how do you not feel confident going into we one with how he looked the playmaking ability right they got some good quality reps there I think the Bears created some positive vibes for their football teams here in the preseason so that's why I look at them as winners all right I'll take another rookie quarterback in B Knicks right you ain't getting them all in one because I think that act of being able to go out and play in the preseason he convinced Shawn pton that he can run that offense and yes it's not game planned and he's not dealing with a defense that understands how to try to attack him and has studied film and picked up on nuances Shawn pton wanted somebody who could run his offense yeah because he had somebody last year who could not run his offense and now he has somebody that can run his offense and I think those preseason games help Bon Knicks make Shawn pton feel comfortable that I can put this rookie out there right I I don't disagree with you there but I mean they found their Drew Brees Jr and that that's awesome and I'm excited to see what he can do he was extremely impressive the whole preseason so uh happy for him definitely I'm going to go with a little bit of a receiver that hasn't got as much love um but I think is going to play a big part on this I mean we know neighbors and AD dun and Xavier worthy Brian Thomas Jr for the Jacksonville Jaguars you read any news down there he's impressed all training camp he looked good the other night he looks like he has a chance to be a guy with big- time playmaking ability I'm gonna go with Michael penck Jr another rookie quarterback because they've already seen enough from him I don't know what for but with one preseason game he checked all the boxes and they decided he's a winner so I'll defer to Morris if he's a winner after one preseason game and you don't have to play him in the next two even though he's the backup quarterback and when else is he going to play I guess he won I don't know what he won I don't know what the prize is but he won it all right one more round of the pre-season winners draft other than us because the preseason is over who you got well you know I'm extremely I don't remember a year where the quarterbacks were so good as rookies in the preseason like just really playing the position the one the other one I'm going to throw on top of there offensive lineman first round offensive lineman I mean you you know I mean you pay attention you haven't heard any bad news about any of them right we can always hear like oh this guy's really struggling you go through it and I've watched them all it's all they belong and they're doing a good job it's surprising because it's a tough adjustment I got to blow the horn one time before the show's jiren Hall The Forgotten man on the death chart last year he had that concussion he looked great in the last two preseason games he had a little big bit of a leg issue coming out of Saturday but he could end up being number two in Minnesota and if Sam darn will get injured maybe he gets something done okay you have a chance to win $1 million in the NBC sweep Stakes on Yahoo fantasy just download the redesign Yahoo fantasy app or go to nbcsports.com fantasy million for additional details what are you waiting for hi it's Mike Florio thanks for watching PFT on YouTube hit subscribe for the latest news and Analysis from pro football talk
