where we're losing we may step in and pitch a little or hit a little we lost four to one vdi pitched a good game Alonzo hit a solo home run skin pitched a good game but he only went five innings gave up three unearned runs we won 11- 10 in game two which was a scoring Fest reys Olen started for them gave up seven earned runs Bobby Whit was three for six for with two RBI Alonzo was three for five with four RB theody Taris was three for six uh Nick Gonzalez was two for five MJ melindes two for five Kepler was one for three with two RBI Michael Garcia two for four with two RBI guys pet Alonzo hit two home runs that's three for the series already Bobby wits been caught stealing twice in this series or I guess twice in the game Max freed gave up six earned runs in five innings and then Tanner Scott blew the save so we were lucky to win that game that's for sure Wow we lost two to one Asel Lacy pitched a great game but we couldn't muster runs against Jacob junis or Lewis Luis srino going a player lock with Juan stto we don't no on St in for the Royals that's my [Applause] hope that one ripped tattooed and gone that'll fire up the DU out it's one nothing first pitch hacking and it paid off for him in a big way well he almost robbed the home run right there here's seven- two stto has nobody on base now it is 7 to three a gigantic blast starting pitching has L us down so far two Runners on this is a huge at that deep drive down the line foul fou ball oh it's a really good pass of the ball right there just a little bit too quick he's got to find a way just let it travel I care more sorry hit the camera so seven to six a massive home run that's his third home run of the game and they throw three on the board it's 76 sing the is some history here Chris yeah he's three times so far and now he gets another chance at least we think we'll see if the pitcher gives him anything to hit it's so rare to see a three Homer performance but even more special for that player to get another chance at the plate to do it again for [Applause] four first and now the right to Six Rangers in the top of the night grab ball to First could be two to Second for one plenty of time at first that's a double play a wins the series so this becomes the off seis they can move on to the next round and I think relax a little bit more congratulations get ready for the ALCS final our for vict well that's disappointing we went in with 110 wins this season and we lost or were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs or from the playoffs by the Rangers so so not too good pitching didn't completely let us down we just didn't play well enough to win each game that's that's for sure we lost four to one 11 to 11 to 10 2 to one and 10 to six the Rangers have defeated the Reds in the 2025 World Series no let's not clear the stats let's look at the award winners oh okay we can only see the World Series Award winners oh no here we go yeah we saw this MJ melindas was third in the MVP [Music] voting for Max sherzer 2025 inductee into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame don't know if I want to sign any of these guys let's see what kind of money they want review staff let's see Farm director let's make an offer for Carmine Sedano has accepted the Royals offer as the farm director Rebrand team I don't think so we will Sim to free agency one so the 40 man roster is I think pretty well set there shouldn't be any changes to it I want to add Danny HS let add Trace thums 40 minut he's good defense defensively Michel Garcia and he can hit a little too so let's bring them back you for okay our holes are at pitching basically let's see Yori tar has had a pretty good year 15 homers 75 RBI 277 average 13 steals played probably exemplary defense out there Bobby Wht 31 home runs 72 RBI 263 average 48 Steals and he was caught 16 times Juan stto had 37 home runs 103 RBIs 288 average so so year 37 125 and 268 for Alonzo Nick Gonzalez from New Mexico State 41 home runs 107 RBI 325 average for pirate fans that's the same Nick Gonzalez he's a 93 now wow MJ Melendez is an 89 now after finish finishing third in the MVP voting uh with 42 home runs 115 RB and 297 average Nick pra and 114 at bats had 12 homers 35 RBI eyes and hit 351 it's now an 82 overall ready for mean was 1864 and then you saw Mel Garcia but it is the pitching that AA Lacy went up to an 87 he had a 3.88 ER and a 1.25 whip I think he just became our number two Paul skin with a high 1.39 whip we got to get that down he's got to become a dominant pitcher I mean dominant 3.58 ra is not great for as good as he is he went up one overall Asel Lacy went up like five I think so job number one is to get three starting pitchers for let's look at the budget real quick team Revenue 227 million player salaries 134 available budget 81 [Music] million so we can go after some pictures [Music] let's check out Zach Gallen it's 30 and he's pitched well 92 overall let's make an offer beat that offer Dyan ceas is also third 30 he's not had as dominant of years look at lights now he's 33 I don't like that I chis Paddock he's also 30 but he looks dominant for forgot we made that offer qualifying offer to Max freed Dustin may look like looks good I want another Bullpen arm too want to lock down Bullpen and this would be the time to get a catcher Will Smith but he's 31 f ball cutter screw ball what was with we're gonna have to get ready real real oh can't okay problem that's awesome oh we have no third basement wow he's a really good defensive third baseman I didn't know that and I still can't trade any of these guys right okay oh no than that's our only third basem I appreciate it Lane Thomas signs with the Giants Kyle Tucker signs with the Yankees seven-year deal okay we're 26 so we have no chance of moving up congratulations to the angels they moved up eight spots to the number one spot four white socks 55 and 107 the Athletics 57 and 105 move down wow for my guy is just absolutely horrible right guys after this roll five draft I will have to call it a day so great disappointment and that the KC Royals went out with a whimper the good thing is they kept most of their lineup intact except they lost Michael Garcia and they replace him with Nate Eaton and they loaded up with their pitching rotation not only with bringing back Paul schemes on no money at all but they brought in Zach gallon AA Lacy went up and pitched well last year their young stud they brought in Dustin may from the Dodgers and they brought back max freed for a year who was kind of their MVP pitcher last year
