Labour Day Long Weekend is synonymous with the Canadian International Air Show

this is the Labor Day weekend usually known as the end of summer long weekend and also known in Tonto for the weekend for the Canadian Air International Air Show which is Canada's longest running Air Show attracting over a million visitors to the Toronto waterfun Community every Labor Day weekend it's a jam-packed air display showcasing modern military jets vintage warbirds thrilling acrobatics and much much more the actual Air Show itself is celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year along with the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force the International Air Show began in 1946 where the national uh aeronautical Association of Canada attracted an overflow crowds to a show at the deavin Canada manufacturing plant near down airport show became an annual event and eventually moved to the exhibition place in 1949 to celebrate these Milestones the show will feature two of the best demonstration teams in the world the Canadian Air Force snowbirds and the much anticipated Return of the royal Air Force acrobatic team the Red Arrows as well as the only two flying aval lancasters in the world which first came into service in 1942 as the Royal Air Force heavy bomber flight planes at the time tickets are flying out the door and can be purchased at www.ci that's Canadian International airsh show.org so c.org starting at $80 and some are already sold out come check it out this weekend the air show will be something you will be able to hear and see through most of the city and I hope you get to enjoy I'm Rob Sanson hope you enjoyed this week's fun fact and I'll talk to you soon take care
