hello everybody we're here at the Utah Renaissance Fair we're going to go get our renissance on yeah we have three different genres of uh costumes or cosplays on too yes so let's show you our costumes or cosplays it's like a woodland Ranger slight a woodland Ranger [Music] I'm just a normal wench typical wench so and then Alice here is our little [Music] princess so yeah we're going to go have some fun yeah we're down here in Mona at the Young Living farm for the first time yeah we've done renfair a couple times this is our first time really dressing up for it cuz we're usually working this event but this is the first time at Mona and it was funny cuz if you go back and watch one of our Easter videos on Alice's Channel we're here too we're here and we were watching the jousting and it was literally after that event Autumn and I looked at each other and said this would be a good spot for the rent fair and then just shortly like a month or two after that they announced this is where they're holding the renair so we've been so excited to you woohoo yes so let's go see what we have in store and now you can there's a number of different things you can either watch actual guys in armor fight they have knights fighting we have the Utah Crusaders who is our like legit team that we have here that does this you have live music we have a harp it looks like over here you have vendors you have food you have activities there's pirate stuff Vikings knights jousting tons of stuff to do we'll try to get a lot as much as we can for you guys to see but right now we're just going to walk through the vendors and see their Wares see their Wares I'm at wow thank you my friend made the Hat I just the construction she's the real artist so she's a mushroom thank you I love your it's so [Music] pretty this would be the one that I would use [Applause] look at Alice look at the royal ball hey G hello everybody and welcome to the Renaissance Fair we hope you enjoy your time here [Music] [Music] so if you will find and watch a show it can be any show from the to jeers it can be acrobatic any show so this is something that's a little new it's pretty fun so out here in this Pavilion they've set up their Royal Court and you have some or some displays of queen dresses and everything we have royalty on tent you can now either go on a quest to receive the Queen's token or you can receive you can be kned so Alice like you they take a sword and they dub you as a knight you want the Queen's token and so now we have to do three things you remember what they are um we got to find a dragon oh they said find magical creat magic creature and Dad happens to know where the Dragon lives here yeah and you got to find um the guy who makes the Wooden Spoons and then ask him how long it takes to make five of them mhm and then got to find some enter entertainment we have to find the best entertainment here in the court or around the festival so all right go has an opinion I think the Jousting is probably the best or the night fighting is the best entertainment that's my opinion all right let's go find out yeah but let's go find our Dragon I think the puppies are the best entertaining [Music] we have found the Dragon [Music] oh my goodness Alice what did you find a mermaid a mermaid there's a live mermaid in there [Music] whoa look at that Alice look there's your soap a very nice smells amazing [Music] ready [Applause] charant almost got hit by that Five Points offer Charles and five points for prince [Applause] [Music] Andrew noise [Applause] [Music] charger we found the wooden spoon shop now let's go ask him how long it is it wooden or is it just W spons oh wooden SP okay let's go check it [Music] out how long does it take five Wooden Spoons to make five Wooden Spoons huh well I'm going to guess because I'm not the spoon Carver where's the spoon Carver the spoon Carver is out chitty chatty but I watched to make them before so each spoon takes roughly anywhere between 2 and 1/2 hours to 3 hours so then if you times that by how many did you need five math is hard for me so you do the math say three round it off to three uh and so three [Music] * 15 so probably about 15 hours wow that's a lot that is awesome that's that's nice that they said that most of them is they they it comes to me and it's asking me how I uh punish uh you know bad people or bad children or that parents and then I get to show the demonstration of that you have a Royal Decree from the queen as being the Royal paddler so I do administer free souvenir paddling Mar so I don't know I mean it looks like he probably would like one I mean it's pretty fun parties padd a royal paddling you ever had a royal padding I would be more than happy to show you would you like to see that's a pass huh I don't know what it is as a child I mean it's yeah I mean this is my Royal paddle uh not that bad and I do offer free demonstrations so like paddle boarding kind of yeah I like paddle boarding a lot except more of a behind kind of you know thing I me I'd be happy to demonstrate I really will no no but let me tell you this tun of parties it impresses your friends all the cool kids are having one you could be the first what do you saying free souvenir pilot plus it's free change your mind or change your attitude you can come back and see me all right no [Music] [Music] box to capture an image you're going to go to the tree you over there and talk to that Aon I'm surprised you made it out life you must be very brave away and then um have the jousting the jousting I was just that it was very Charles and it took 15 it takes 15 hours to make five wooden spoon thank you very much so for that that was Catherine of Aragon's [Music] spoon so here is a favor for you and would either of you also like a fa um what's the night's scroll thing that you're handing out um oh that is a 19 I'm happy to give it to you um first would you like a favor for Catherine well do you okay let's go see cool [Music] MTH top hats pirate princess I think it looks excellent on you I just like my fan and you have your fan to go with and just oh yes like Elizabeth turn the pirate princess now she's got a fan she's got the Hat huh Alice whoa that thing is long Alice what who I love these things those are cool very nice The Princess Bride sword yes how much is it I don't know woohoo easy she's lost her hat so overall I think that Mona was a good pick it was the best pick for new location yeah very roomy tons of room for everyone the shade alone too all the trees that are around this park give such good shade for the middle of the day when there's eat now it's been a little windy today which isn't normal for down here but I have not been against the breeze it's been keeping me pretty cool actually yeah yep but look like it was really successful it was packed so and that's last year they did a smaller version because they did not go to where they normally go and so that's this year it was kind of a question of okay is this going to be successful again and I think yeah it's here to stay I definitely think bring it back to this venue it's open it's every has everything that this event needs you have enough space that you have two separate areas for the jousting and the other night fights it just it has everything yeah yeah but yeah if you have never been it's pretty fun show show up if you can dress up I mean yeah mostly everyone was dressed up so it was it's fun to see everybody but yeah it's a Vibe just dress up don't be embarrassed almost everyone here is dressed up some shape or form even if it's just getting the shirt off of Amazon which they're super cheap the I have mine underneath all my stuff but yeah if it's just getting the shirt and wearing pants and boots do it [Music] around [Music] [Music] every but yeah there's a really fun atmosphere here people just are here to have fun and have a good time [Music] all right we got to talk
