hello everyone and welcome back to my channel Rory Fe recently tied the note again but that's only part of the story the real highlight his daughter Andy managed to steal the spotlight and there's video evidence to prove it it's been a while since we last discussed Rory one half of the country do Joey and Rory to catch you up if you would rather skip ahead to the latest update check out the time sces in the description below for those who remember between late 2014 and early 2016 Joey and Rory were the country couple everyone was talking about Joey was fighting multiple times of cancer and during that time the daughter Indie was born Indie who has Down syndrome inspired many with her joyful spirit and resilience her story was specially pant after Joy passed away in March 2016 Rory's scandid blog provided a detailed look into their lives during this challenging time never shying away from difficult subjects while Taste of Country and other outlets have periodically checked in on Rory and Indie they've mostly been give space to he and plan their future Rory continued making music and prioritizing his daughter he once said he didn't expect to fall in love or marry again but as life would have it love found him Ander reaba reaba is now Rory's wife she has been a teacher at the one room Schoolhouse Rory built on his tennessy property to educate at Indie and a few other children they knew each other for about 5 years mostly in a professional Capac capacity but the relationship grew closer over the past year Rory says that the more time Indie and he spent with Raba the more she became an important part of their lives I highly recommend reading Rory's full post about this journey I've linked it below in it he shares his feelings of guilt and a conversation he had with Joey before her passing Joy had said if I don't make it I want you to love again you and Indie both will need someone rabica who had been married before but couldn't have children has also experien the loss of loved ones to cancer Rory mentions how rabika respected his love for joy and was understanding despite her own feelings recently Rory and reaba celebrated Christmas at Joy's parents' home their first as a couple and the family has been very supportive now let's talk about inded this is the moment everyone's been waiting for although Rory and rabika had started to acknowledge their feelings for each other they hesitated to Mary concerned it might confuse Indie at just 2 years old when Joey died Indie has few memories of her mother so it was a surprise when Indie said last spring Miss rabika I think you should marry Papa she added I told miss rabika that my mama's been gone a long time and if she marri you marries you maybe you could become my new mother kids have a way of knowing what they need don't they the wedding was captured on video and Rory included it in a music video for a song he wrote specifically for the occasion titled I do rabika was unaware of his this surprise you can find a link to the video below but here's a longer ex exert till that do us part with all of my heart I do imagine the tears and emotions when Rory began playing his guitar for Rory the most memorable moment wasn't about the vows or the reception it was when Indie was given the chance to have a mother again and reaba was given the gift of motherhood Rory expressed do I love you do I need you do I thank God for you I've included another Waring video right here and YouTube has selected a related video you might enjoy I'm Billy Dukes for Taste of Country thanks for watching and subscribing
