Reeling from a deadly airstrike amid its war with Russia. As Greg Palkot reports, it could all be part of Putin's revenge for Ukraine's offensive into Russian territory. >> Ukraine is reeling from one of the deadliest Russian air strikes since the start of the war. Two ballistic missiles hitting a military training facility and a hospital in the city of Poltava, killing dozens and wounding hundreds more. >> Every day there are shellings missiles. They don't let us live and work in peace. >> The missiles hit shortly after the city's air raid alert system was activated, giving civilians little time to head to bunkers and shelters. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the, quote, barbaric nature of the attack underscores the need for the West to provide more defensive weapons. >> The Russian scum will be held accountable for this strike and once again, we urge everyone in the world who has the power to stop this terror. Air defense systems are needed in Ukraine. >> At the same time, Zelenskyy is also asking for offensive weapons and permission to use them on Russian soil as his troops move further into Kursk. The Ukrainians have captured more than 500mi■!S of Russian territory so far, though it hasn't stopped Moscow from pressing ahead with its own offensive in eastern Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin now sending in fresh reserves to help fight back against the incursion, hoping to end the first occupation of Russian territory since World War two. >> Our armed forces will do everything to ensure that normal life in these regions is restored. There can be no doubt about this. >> Putin ordered his forces to push the Ukrainians back across the border by October 1st
