Can you talk about how great it was did that homework, but now when you that you have two hits and the second half has yeah, no definitely felt too good to help out tonight, you know, and that's all I want to do is help us win try and get in the playoffs so that we can you know, give our shot and see if we can be that hot team and make our run. So, you know, it felt good. We've been working hard and I don't know maybe maybe I got some of those demons out of me, you know with Being sick yesterday, so I don't know but it felt good to help out tonight. No, no, I mean tomorrow nobody cares. So we've got to go out and try and win tomorrow and you know, but it's a good step in the right direction and you know people keep working how important was it to answer back after they taken the lead in the top of that. Yeah. No, that's definitely kind of a rule of thumb in baseball. You know, when you go out you go put up some runs you want to have a shutdown inning. So for us to be able to come out and put some more runs up against them and have a big inning. That was really important. And so, you know, obviously really really proud of the guys and the fight that they had denied the offense was clicking in that five-year period my endings like you had tonight that long any punctuated by Homer was your home run the snack. Did it remind you of the stretch you guys were having on the offense was clicking. Yeah, for sure. I mean, you know, I think that hitting is something that's very very hard to do and you're going to go through ups and downs with it. And so right now, you know when you have a longer line Up, obviously, there's less mistakes, you know to make and so the more guys that are swinging the bat. Well the better and so, you know, I think you know, what I would hope is that we're coming into a stretch where we swing the bats really well and we have a few guys doing it and you know, when you have more than one guy doing it then you know, you can you can do some damage. So, you know, we're will build on tonight. We'll take it one game at a time. But I definitely definitely think it's a right step step. So I'm sorry definitely think it's a step in the right direction. Started this game started the final quarter of the season. They starting to feel more urgent each game. I mean every game is important, you know, ultimately, you know, I've been a part to me Seasons that you know, it's come down to one game at the end. So it doesn't matter whether it's the game in April or whether it's the game in September, you know, they're all important. So tomorrow we come in. We you know, we try and go 1 and 0 and that's our mindset right now is we're trying to just win every pitch and just break it down to this to smallest things possible so that We're taking care of the little things during the slump. What's been your comfort level in the batter's box and have you noticed a shift today? Yeah. I've been very open about it. You know, I'm not doing very well and you know, obviously the worst you do the lesson was comfortable you feel and so but you know today today's step in the right direction, you know, we're working we're working every single day to try and to try and get better and try and you know be better in in the game. So, you know, we'll continue to do that and it's a good step in the right direction. Yeah, I mean we're I'm getting there, you know, you know, I don't know if I'd say 100% but but I'm getting there and you know, we'll we'll bounce back and be ready to go tomorrow kind of sense to maybe a little bit better rhythm. Is that something that that's good? You know II just we're working on things in the cage. And you know, I'm like I said, you know my hitting coaches Chava. Me and Jeremy or you know racking their brains the the analytics side the biomechanics side Sports Science whole the whole thing. We're all you know all hands on deck on this and trying to find things so, you know, definitely we had better results today and that's great. But you know, usually the results come after the process and so we'll continue to work on the process. You've been teammates with Jeff and he's in that stretch now he's what Faster Fred is what do you think of this was the biggest difference a in the second half for him? Yeah, you know, I think he went back to some cues that he had, you know, he was batting champion. And and you know, I think he's just kind of getting a little more confidence. He's had a few, you know games of success and building on that and you know confidence can do a lot in this game, especially hitting so I think he you know, he kind of built on that and now he has confidence. That's when he goes up to the plate that he can do what he wants to do. And so, you know really proud of him for you know, obviously having a tough first half and and and not giving into that and you know, I'm very happy that he's doing well Sean Carlos mentioned The Change-Up as being the key pitch in his mind for you tonight. I know that you've gone away from that a little bit lately why tonight was it so prominent? I mean, they fourth inning they kind of rocks and fastballs and did some damage on that. So kind of had to Pivot from the original game plan. And so he's my changeup and Martha the better felt. So I was really happy about that. Carlos also told us that prior to the seventh inning. He said he's going to he's going to push it a little bit out there with you when you go out and you know your pitch counts close to 100 but manager tells you that you're going to have a little bit of Runway. Does that alter it? All the mindset are how you go about things knowing that you'll probably get that inning. I mean like the last inning strike him down. Six, I'd definitely one of the ball and you know, my mind is kind of going to empty the tank and give it everything we got so it's kind of what I was doing from there from the 6 on and everything. Be able to have a good outing in front of the home crowd is just started the last quarter of the season the games feeling more urgent now. sort of I mean the only day we can only do what we can control and when our when the games we can play and learn that it's kind of up for grabs. So we just kind of continue what we're doing. And what's a moment John you've gone seven Innings. Now three of your last four starts, especially in this day and age is there certain level of pride in pushing them to that point and given the team consistent length like that. You know, I'm just trying to help this team win and you know, if that's sometimes only for five innings or seven Innings great, so physically good seven. But yeah, just trying to help the team and wagon.
