Dan Campbell Declares Kalif Raymond is WR3 | But Detroit Lions Are Still Searching For an X WR!!!

[Music] I like to be educ all right man so Dan Campbell says that they're still looking for uh another outside receiver okay um he declares CLE Raymond is rece wi receiver number three but the lions are still searching for an X and like I said before you searching somewhere where you no you ain't GNA find one that's the crazy thing about it you know they want to do everything but spend money or spend a resource to bring a guy in which they should have just did that in off season you know but you know at the end of the day can't be mad at them for prioritizing U uh taking care of their own people I can't I can't even get mad at that um but you know that's what they prioritizing um and they looking some where they ain't goingon to find one that you know that's the that's just common sense they looking for one where they goingon to find one that it ain't on this roster you know and they if they hope enjoy season somebody somebody develop into that good luck good luck with that but um C Raymond he's not a dude that that's going to do anything on the outside so for the most part one of the other things they can do is take St Brown and make him an outside receiver play him on the outside more I remember last year Jer G said that was the next uh step for him to make was to dominate on the outside you know be a great receiver outside the hashes you know and that's what kind of separate him from gold and tat a little bit is that golden T can also dominate outside the hashes you know you know same brown is better than a slot but golden T can dominate the outside the hashes so that might you know the answer might be on the roster from that that simple fact but boy if he go down they in trouble so it says uh like Detroit Lions I I was desperate to find a way to fix the team's reord ahead of the season so I cooked up a trade package that was sent KH Raymond to the Ravens obviously a good number of lions fans weren't happy the big response I got well I got was that KH Raymond is the team's number receiver why would they trade him they're right Lions head Coast Dan Campbell said declaring Raymond number three the problem with Raymond being number three Everybody Loves Raymond the problem with that being him number three he's not an outside receiver they want a receiver that can win on the outside they can beat press coverage and dominate khif Raymond is more of a gadget slack guy he ain't even a reliable slot guy there's no disrespect towards him he's just a gadget guy he's not a receiver he kind put him in the category as Jamal agnu Desmond Howard you know like that maybe A step above them from a receiver standpoint he said his rece his receiver three right now I just he is receiver three right now I just think the idea has always been we love uh khif Lea as a returner and leaf brings uh and Li brings Leafs bring I don't know what the hell is he talking about here a different set of set of skills to the receiver position he's got a little gadgety just like I said more of a you know Gadget guy he got some quickness underneath and he's returner and to maximize both boy you love to know he's 20 to 20 plays a game 25 plays a game so we rather not play him 65 plays game but we will have to so yeah he's receiver three right now that's fine but no it's not because you wouldn't be saying that's fine that's why it would be nice to have somebody step up because it just helps the room I think it makes everybody a little bit more potent that's all but yes we trust Leaf very much no they don't if you wish some like you go to just listen to what people say if you wish somebody come up and step up then oh I we rather not but you know my thing is this listen to what he's saying you know they don't want him to play that many plays they don't want him to be the number three receiver that that's what he telling you they don't want that they don't want that they don't want it they don't want it so that's that's that's my thing about it don't sit here with a bunch of word salad you know I understand he got to do words Sally here because you got to watch what you saying cuz you're a leader of the football team you know what I'm saying you know so you really can't throw nobody under the bus like that cuz these dudes take it personal especially in this generation you know especially in this generation so so so you so yeah you got to know he don't feel comfortable being that third receiver so it it don't really it you know and it you begging somebody to step up that's Insanity every week you begging somebody to step up and it ain't happening so I don't know if he trying to send a sublimo to Brad Holmes like look here bro we need another receiver you know go out there and do your magic we need another receiver and he trying to send a message to him but at the end of the day I think they waiting on the on on the waiver wire or on the Rel on the 53 man release they looking to get in the D the garbage can for a receiver you know and it ain't no guarantee that that receiver gonna want to come to Detroit so you might as well just you know I go get Terence Marshall DJ slayen courton Sutton somebody said Johan dson down there dying in Wasington he more of an inside receiver but you know what I take him you know and I understand probably Juju and Michael Thomas are injured and broke up so they don't want to go down that road but hey sometimes you might have to this is what happen when you wait late in the game at this point I'mma keep harping this home they could have just brought back DJ shark he stayed healthy
