hello everybody it is 6:58 on uh Tuesday evening we have a new severe thunderstorm war that just popped up here for Davidson County and this is a storm that's meant business up there in jolton and up around Goodletsville and they just issued a severe thunderstorm warning for it so what I'm going to do here is I'm going to take off the uh White polygons because the most important one here is this yellow one and this is the severe thunderstorm warning that is now in effect for Northern Davidson County until 7:30 so about another 30 minutes on this warning and let's talk about who's in on this and who is out this comes all the way down to Downtown Nashville the heaviest part of the storm by far is up around Jolan up around Whites Creek and up around the 2465 split and up around Madison and gulv so uh that's where the worst part of the storm is right now and that is sort of where the the middle the meat of this warning is and um that is uh that is where the the severe thunderstorm warning is in effect uh so uh welcome again we've uh been on once this morning and or once this afternoon and now we're now we're back again for a second severe thunderstorm warning so let me tell you what happened here because this is interesting at least to me so earlier today we were talking about if you remember the last time we were broadcasting we were talking about this blue line you see that blue line This outflow boundary that we've been talking about and that was sort of serving to set off storms earlier today well that outflow b boundary is still hanging out over here and you can see it just very slowly progressing to the Southwest I mean very slowly well as we have winds coming out of the West here they sort of launch over this outflow boundary and when they do they blow these storms up all right so that's what we've gotten here is this outflow boundary has launched a storm uh has launched air aoft and has created a pretty decent storm there that continues to be fed from Air that's rising over that outflow boundary and so jolan's getting smacked and uh we think actually we know pretty well that they got some hail especially over here south of jolon along Bear Hollow Road and along Whites Creek so there was some hail there and probably some winds as well U I think we heard that there were some maybe some trees down up there so doesn't surprise me at all um so uh that is uh that's what's going on so um s thunderstorm morning in effect until 7:30 uh let's see here all right um let's go over to the chat answer some of your questions is this concerning for tornadoes uh this is not really like like not a classic tornado environment although yesterday uh uh you know they uh they actually did confirm an efzo tornado down Murphysboro uh yesterday and it was pretty clear it was a tornado down there yesterday based on the video in Murphysboro uh very very weak tornado as they come um so uh that uh that that end up being a little tornado down there Murphy's bro so even in July Late July we don't have to have the perfect setup for tornadoes uh but occasionally we can get some but so so that to say today's environment is not ripe for tornado producing storms uh but we you know we got to watch them we got to watch them but this is not for tornadoes this is for 60 m per hour wind G UH 60 mph winds possible in quarter size hail so we've seen some hail um over here uh with the storm and we've seen it over especially around Bear Hollow Road in uh jolton and what we look for is these areas of purple here uh like near I24 up here in jolton and these areas of purple here often indicate there could be some hail mixed in there not always but sometimes we can switch over to a mode here and kind of see if there's anything that stands out out uh and not seeing anything there could be a little bit of hail in there kind of around uh tranham Road uh approaching I24 but doesn't look that large at the moment but um over there around Goodletsville and Hendersonville that's a pretty big storm over there as well within the polygon and that could be dropping some hail over there as well uh so north side of Davidson County yeah hasn't really seen a lot of storm action this afternoon uh but this outflow boundary that moved through finally finally started kicking up some storms here and uh it's this blue line here and that's what's kicked off this severe thunderstorm it's relatively healthy it's uh being fed with with air that's Rising off of this outflow boundary and so it's got a pretty good food source a lot of lightning with it a lot of lightning with it uh pretty tall storm pretty healthy storm and it could produce some wind damage and maybe some quarter size hail Will it hit Mount Juliet probably will stay a little north of Mount Juliet but uh it probably will actually hit Mount Juliet eventually if it holds together uh somebody asked uh wasn't a gus guso down in Murphy's bro well that's a little hard to differentiate um asking about the Murphy's bro tornado yesterday that's a little bit hard to differentiate Gus tornado but they've ranked it as an efzo tornado down there in Murphysboro uh that report came back this afternoon and um uh somebody says I'm using the wrong mic well let's fix that shall we oh I see exactly why I'm using the wrong mic sorry guys I'm not quite used to this setup yet this new setup I see exactly what's going on I turned off my soundboard from earlier so we'll fix that here in just a second okay y'all tell me if this is better is this microphone any better ah good thank you thank you thank you all right Perfect all right now we're now we're cooking with gas should we start over um all right so this severe thunderstorm War continues until 7:30 and uh I I'll tell you how confident I was that we weren't going to have any more severe storms as I turned my sound board off off and and here we are uh so anyway I'll get used to this new setup soon so uh anyway sever thunderstorm warnings remains in effect till 7:30 again this is mostly a wind event with this uh wind does not seem to be a huge issue at the moment based on radar uh but sometimes these things can be a little sneaky and we can get some down I'm seeing some down burst signatures in here now whether they're severe or not you know this is wind right here the greens are going toward the radar which is right over here this is when going toward the radar this is when going away from the radar and so there's definitely some down bursty winds there around I24 right on top I24 actually and um and so down bursty yes uh severe hard to tell doesn't look like it on radar but they can be sneaky sometimes so mostly it looks like a hail kind of event um although the hail signatures seem to be coming down and as we go up in the storm and kind of look a loft um it doesn't look quite as healthy as it did earlier all right so we'll just we'll just have to see um tornado concerns uh again this is not a ripe tornado environment uh I mean we've certainly seen a lot more impressive tornado Dynamics than what we have today but you know then again we had an efz Road Murphy's bro yesterday uh so you just um you know sometimes sometimes things happen uh but uh but I don't this just doesn't scream tornado it's mostly a hail and wind event uh we're talking um Phil here is asking about uh future storms do we think that uh these storms will weaken the ones that come no there's a lot of energy out there today and so the storms that we could potentially get later tonight uh I doubt that this will cause them to weaken just this one cell um it's hard for one cell like this to really do much as far as weakening but uh we're going to have to watch you see another complex of storms that has formed to our Northwest and again we're looking at the Nashville Radar here so there's you know we're looking a long way away on this radar image uh the radar is hitting the very tops of these storms but um there is another complex of storms Southwest or Southern Illinois they're into Kentucky and those are generally moving generally moving our Direction um looks like they even had a tornado warning up there earlier don't know anything about that but um so those storms we're going to have to watch they could come our way later tonight all right so we we'll have to see how that how that pans out but yeah they would be you know on the heels a few hours later than what we've got now [Music] um looks like we have a new flood advisory that has come out flood advisory for Davidson County and suner County and looks like also some small hail over there uh right on the suar county line in Hendersonville so it looks like looks like some hail falling with this part of the cell over here that's around Hendersonville B not surprising at all and flood advisory now for Davidson County so let's uh let's read that excessive rainfall occurring here uh in Davidson County and that's until 9:00 tonight so this is mostly for minor flooding lowline poor drainage areas and uh Doppler radar was indicating heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms across Northern Davidson and Southwestern suar radar estimates up to two inches of rain have fallen in the past hour minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in The Advisory area so this includes areas like Madison Hendersonville Goodletsville Millersville Lakewood jolton Old Hickory and Whites Creek all right so that's a new flood advisory from the Weather Service that expires at 9:00 tonight so could have some flooding uh the storms appear to have weakened some uh the one up there around just now coming into Davidson County count on the northwest side we're looking up here at around 15,000 ft here and looks pretty healthy way up there so we'll have to see how this develops but this right now appears to be the strongest storm right around Marone Lake and bean Park so again that severe thunderstorm warning continues until 7:30 so anything that moves inside that warning you know could definitely be severe and um uh hey Will Will's in our chat over there welcome will uh so these storms do seem to kind of be they keep developing back to the West here see that one that was in Jolan had a warning issued on it and then another one kind of moved in behind it so uh lot of energy up there yeah uh will says flood advisory definitely warranted Let's uh we're going to pull out some other tools here let's check the rainfall we're going to zoom in here and uh check on our rainfall totals and let's see here this right here we're showing now this is is this is a 1 hour estimate radar estimate we're looking at 1.61 in right there in Joelton and uh that's that's a lot of rain in a short amount of time so in in one hour looking at 1.61 Ines we expect that to go up it's still raining there by the way so uh we expect that to that to go up but that Bullseye there is right there on Jolan and 1.61 in of rain there so that's with this flood advisory is four it's uh it's for for these areas that just keep getting rain uh especially over a short amount of time so we'll keep an eye on that we'll keep that up as well just to see how the how the uh flooding progresses up there velocities aren't too impressive right now um not seeing anything worrisome um tongue and cheek I kind of say that winds don't look to be a huge concern at this at this second uh but um but you know if the storm sort of falls apart and um and just kind of unleashes a bunch of that cold air down in the storm it could get windy real quickly we've seen that happen a lot um good good question here Hey where's the storm uh heading uh you know sometimes we forget to talk about that let's talk about that uh where's it headed so not just where it is now but where's it going things tend to be moving Southeast today uh east Southeast so you can sort of extrapolate here the heaviest part of the storm is moving toward Madison Lakewood eventually Mount Juliet and Lebanon and gladeville uh so you can sort of let's back this up and if you know where you are on the map and you can sort of see how the storm progresses Eastward southeastward and just sort of more along the way so in 10 minutes it's not going to look much like it does right now in half an hour it's going to look probably completely different it just it morphs and moves and changes form uh as it moves to the east Southeast so uh you know biew you're not really in the path of this but if you're in Hermitage you are so it just sort of is moving kind of east Southeast here and uh yeah um somebody mentioning uh non-stop Thunder near Percy Priest Lake yeah these things are very electrically active in fact let me turn on our our lightning our high resolution lightning here quite a bit of lightning in it even if we include the cloud to Cloud strikes uh there's a lot of lightning in there especially the especially over Northwestern Davidson County that's a tall storm and it's got a lot of electrical energy in it so um so yes the storm over Hermitage in Mount Juliet and Hendersonville has quite a bit of lightning in it but uh boy that that storm over in Northwest David County still just has a ton of lightning in it and you don't want to be anywhere close to that outside so yeah pretty noisy out there a lot of uh a lot of lightning out there Jay's asking is that the uh gust front headed Southwest yep uh so the gust front is this blue line let me go back in time you see that blue line there that's slowly moving Southeast or Southwest and that's what's sort of launching these cells and I would expect more cells there seems to be a line here of some uh some instability uh maybe some air that's just ready to be lifted and that's what that outflow boundary is going to do and so from Waverly to Charlotte around Dixon to Ashland City seems to be some air that's a little bit more conducive to being lifted into a storm uh by this outflow boundary so uh as those uh part of air get lifted over that you can see them forming and so they they end up dumping right over Northwestern Davidson so we may not be done yet they're in Northwestern Davidson County with the rain new cell getting going around Ashland City that could easily move right into into Northwestern Davidson County so we may not be done yet fact we can kind of look up in the storm and and it's building pretty good there around Ashland City so would expect some some lightning with that soon and uh as that moves into Davidson County it'll probably dump some more rain so if you're around Joelton heads up on the flooding situation um and that is uh that's something we're going to have to watch as far as the U as far as the the flooding goes let's go back and check on that incidentally in the past hour we're looking at 1.69 in radar estimates there in jolton so a lot of rain a lot of rain coming down there um in jolt and this will update every every few minutes and show us kind of the hourly rainfall rate and it's pretty high pretty high Brandon asks if it's ever going to stop raining and funny thing is some of us haven't really seen all that much uh so the the storms and the rain have been somewhat sporadic around Middle Tennessee and um up in northeastern Davidson and Northwestern Wilson County uh they've had what like nine seven or n Ines some crazy number and the airports only had an inch or something I don't know some number like that it's just like uh you know as far as July goes so it's it's just it's been sporadic not everybody's had the same amount of rain for sure and there's still places that are pretty dry uh you know that's how summer goes I've lived here 40 years and that's that's just how that's how things are um some people get dumped on and some people get pretty dry it's the way it goes uh storm up here is still let's go look at it up in the atmosphere let's head off the ground here and look at it up pretty high and there's still some pretty heavy reflectivities there in fact that's probably hail kind of gathered up above Marone Lake and um that is uh that's probably going to come down and it's going to be U going to be pretty loud when it does so this is looking up at about 14,000 ft let's go up a little higher and um yeah that's kind of where the storms are hanging out kind of there the meat of these storms is hanging out at about 15,000 ft up and then uh and it eventually comes down this is the base level of the storms so we're looking at about about a th feet up right here so storms continue to build up in the Whites Creek Northwestern Davidson County jlon area Beaman Park just a ton of lightning up there it's loud a lot of lightning up there so um let's see what the weather service is saying here um Weather Service says they are keeping uh the severe thunderstorm warning going for now till the expiration time that's about another 10 minutes uh but you know confidence in wind damage and large hail potential is a little bit unsure uh they're not um not positive uh that that's going to be occurring in here but they're going to keep the warning going they say that the heavy rain and flooding is the biggest threat right now uh with this cell so especially right here in Jolan so around jolon around Eaton's Creek Road uh around old H boulevards some of these roads up here in Northwestern Davidson County around Marone Lake and jlon Beaman Park uh could be could be appreciable rain totals up there and could get the Creeks going and um you know a lot of the uh a lot of the roads up there have Creeks beside them and that could be an issue uh with this heavy rain coming down it's just kind of unrelenting at the moment yeah a lot of you were talking about the thunder uh really a a lot of lightning a lot of Thunder up there it's just um kind of uh kind of loud out there that's a nice nice loud storm but hopefully no damage and if you can manage to not have any lightning issues uh then uh hopefully it'll be a harmless storm we'll have to see even some lightning now Cloud to ground lightning pretty powerful Cloud to ground lightning actually around Gallatin Road um Gallatin Pike going out through Englewood pretty powerful strike there um just a couple of minutes ago and uh so yeah very noisy storm very noisy storm one up there approaching Gallatin and the other one the other one right there around Bean Park and Joelton looks like a new severe thunderstorm warning for Davidson County now so new warning was just issued that's going to be for 60 mph wind gusts and that's going to be until 8:00 p.m. so new severe thunderstorm warning now uh that is going to rep replace the other one and that's going to be in effect for about 37 minutes so a new sphere thunderstorm warning now for uh let's see here till uh till 8:00 all right so the weather service is uh seeing the potential here for some additional uh wind and hail possibilities here and so they have now issued a new severe thunderstorm War now for Davidson County with a little bit of a smaller polygon than the first one the first one goes all the way up here to Bakers Millersville Hendersonville Lakewood Hermitage uh the new one now uh covers us down here uh same areas in Davidson County but but doesn't go all into to surrounding counties so new severe thunderstorm warning now this is going to be for uh for bean Park jlon the fontell area there in Whites Creek and uh crossing over into Madison over there so new severe thunderstorm warning now uh for Davidson County so we'll just have to see how this uh how this evolves they want to keep uh somehow and um they they want to they want to keep this in front of us and let us know um uh and and and want us to keep an eye on this cell so we're going to keep an eye on it so uh the main issue now we're getting some cool pictures um these are pictures of a shelf cloud up around uh up in suar County so pretty cool shelf cloud up in SAR County that's pretty neat um so you can check our tees spotter feed there well I tell you what would be of utmost importance right now is reports so reports would be a huge uh help to us and to the National Weather Service and so if you could send us any reports of damaging winds or um uh any large hail anything like that if you got any trees down anything like like that uh let us know using #t spotter on Twitter and that's the best way to get reports to us we might see them in our replies we get a lot of replies they just sort of roll in uh as people reply to our tweets and sometimes we can miss reports that are buried in there but the best way to send us reports is use hasht spotter over on Twitter and uh and and and we'll get them there and we'll keep up with those very carefully there and we'll send those over to the Weather Service so again new severe thunderstorm warning now until 8:00 and they want us to keep an eye apparently on this cell and um as our old warning expires here in about four minutes and um the new one will last about 35 more minutes uh and we'll just we'll see if it holds together if they end up cancelling it early um so we'll just uh we'll we'll see uh what happens with that over here the next few minutes so the biggest thing right now is a if you're in Jolan be careful with the flooding situation uh let's go look at the the rain totals here so we're back over on on rain totals these are 1H hour radar estimates and we're looking at about 1.89 in about one 1.9 Ines almost two Ines there in jolton and that'll get the Creeks going and so uh we want to you know if you're in jolon a be very careful with with Rising Waters in The Creeks and the streams up there uh secondly if you are in um uh Northern Davidson County could could still have some Gusty winds with it uh it doesn't appear that velocities are uh particularly strong every once in a while we get a little bit of a down bursty kind of a thing right around White Creek uh I mean could bring some branches down hopefully we don't uh see any more damaging winds but we did have a couple of trees down over there in jolton but hopefully that uh starts to wind down over the next little bit let me catch up on some messages and just see see uh get an update on some things here okay oh hey we got a storm over Nolanville I mean over Williamson County rather yeah I thought I heard thunder outside just a minute ago and uh I thought man that's a long way to be hearing uh hearing Thunder from where I live on these storms up east of us so yeah new storm has gotten going there in Williamson County this makes a lot more sense now I was kind of confused on why I was hearing Thunder from storms up in Hendersonville and Gallatin uh so yeah this makes a little bit more sense uh so this is down here right around ruville South of page High School Arrington a lot of the lightning is concentrated right there around uh I see that's going to be udale Covington Road and Arno Road and right there around the Grove so right there around the Grove is where that is and Arno Road udale Covington right around College Grove and uh McDaniel Road very noisy storm there that's that thing's got a lot of lightning in it I can tell I'm I'm not real close to it but I'm close enough I can hear the thunder and I've heard quite a bit of it so uh it doesn't surprise me at all that storm has gotten going down there this thing could toss lightning outside of the rain in fact the the the um radar data or the lightning data rather is is indicating that there's there's lightning being tossed outside of the rainfall so be careful if you are outside in the elements in eastern Williamson County uh this thing's tossing lightning outside of the rain so head on inside of you hear thunder and that's a good rule of thumb so that storm is currently non- severe uh but it is headed east and it also has launched off of that outflow boundary that moved through a little bit ago so that'll be moving East into retherford County but it's going to go through Triune first and cause a big stir and a bunch of lightning and all that kind of stuff so but doesn't appear to be appears to be harmless except for clouded ground lightning uh so we still continue to have our warnings up here in Northern Davidson County um and uh so we are going to uh keep an eye on Northern Davidson County we're down to one warning up there and um they got another warning over there in eastern or Southern suar County Northern Wilson County that's moving East so they've got a a Micro Burst up there uh southeast of Gallatin and so that's uh something they're keeping an eye on over there and had to issue a severe thunderstorm warning there so we remain just with one warning and let's go yeah you're asking about what's coming out at uh at us from Kentucky and let's go look at that here we are so let's go change Radars here real quick and let's go look at Kentucky in fact let's go all the way to the baduka radar shall we yeah so once again we have a system coming out of Kentucky this one looks to be a little further west than the other one this one looks like it's going to affect us the other one today kind of slid just east of us by less than half a county and this one looks like it probably will impact us so it's got a little bit more of a of a path that will Impact Middle Tennessee and um so we're going to be dealing with that later on I would say probably in a couple of hours is my best guess so you see warnings being issued there east of Paduka and another outflow boundary uh with that storm or with that complex another blue line there that's going to be launching storms so yep we've got another system coming through and this one looks like it's going to be uh a little bit more of our problem uh rather than just east of us looks like this one's going to impact us so yep severe thunderstorm warnings coming out uh for uh Kentucky up there just east of Paduka so those those are racing Southeast we call these I24 specials if you've been here around here a while and uh we call these I24 specials and we've got one coming down I24 and uh we've had many of these before so we'll um we'll see how that pans out here in a couple of hours so we'll we go on three times today on YouTube live I don't know we'll have to see uh Weather Service says they're going to keep the warning going for now uh with uh additional storms kind of moving into the polygon and rainfall totals continue to increase now approaching 3 Ines there in jelatin so they're going to keep the warning going there in Northern Davidson County uh for now and I'm I'm on the I'm on just the I'm on the cusp of a sneeze and I just haven't gotten it out yet but I'm just warning yall now um that when it comes out it's probably going to blow this microphone on the other side of the computer so y'all just get ready for it and if you see me about to sneeze just turn your volume down and I'll try to I'll try to I'll try to help you out um so new thunderstorm moving into the severe thunderstorm warning polygon what they're watching is this this cell that's kind of right here on the in Western Davidson County and it's just starting to uh kind of get its act together you can see we're looking up high in the storm here and about 177,000 ft and there's another storm getting its act together back here in Western Davidson so they're going to kind of keep the the warning going for now additional storms moving into Western Davidson County and so this warning remains in effect until 8:00 about another 30 minutes um appreciate the advice uh I always um am skeptical of saying something on the air here that y'all want me to say because it might mean something other than what I intend for it to mean uh but uh but if I get desperate here I'll I'll say I'll say what you wanted me to say all right um let's see let's see what we can talk about uh Bailey's asking any tornado concerns uh this is not looking tornadoyoshi1251 [Music] it at the moment I'm not seeing anything in other words on radar um it's not just a feeling it's actually what I'm looking at here but uh not seeing anything worrisome as far as rotation there in that cell in Northern Davidson County let's go check Williamson County again decent little storm here looks like the lightning has backed off a smidge looks like it's backed off a smidge so the the lightning strikes are getting older on the picture here so perhaps maybe it's it's uh weakening and if we go back in time yeah could be could be hard to tell looks like that thing's looks like that thing's barely gonna miss me just barely um Jenny says she promises it's not a prank thank you very much I appreciate that um all right let's back out sort of look at the big picture let me turn that red box off all right let's back out big picture here is we have uh one warning here for Davidson County we have a warning east of us that's the one you see over there in Gallatin and Northern Wilson County so couple of warnings here in Middle Tennessee couple of storms going on um the bigger story right now now that we look to our North looks to be another complex of storms that's going to be coming through here and the weather service has actually been talking with the Storm Prediction Center and uh trying to decide on you know whether to issue a watch or not for that uh complex coming down not sure yet they're they're going to be working that out and um we could get a uh could get a watch uh but it doesn't particularly change anything whether we do or don't uh but they're they're trying to determine whether this Line's really going to keep its steam up as it comes down into Northern Middle Tennessee and uh if I had to guess I'd say that's probably a couple of hours away so we put it in motion here and just sort of see how how it's how it's moving and uh you know it's it's slowly moving Southeast so a couple hours I think we'll probably be watching it a little more carefully um but we'll just we'll have to see a lot of this a lot of this is just kind of wait and see because the models do such a horrible job on setups like this it's just it's just the way the science is not good enough yet on these types of setups where you have this Northwest flow as we call it uh these I24 specials models are notorious for having a hard time getting a grasp on on these types of storm complexes so yeah a lot of it's kind of wait and see and U but we we just kind of want to be prepared for it uh whether it gets here or whether it doesn't but we'll be watching it either way we'll be glued to it um will we see more rain I mean it depends on where you are I mean if you're in Belleview you're not getting a lot of rain out of this but jolan's getting a few inches so it kind of depends it just depends on where this these things pop up if they're on top of you um and if you know then you'll get some heavy rain totals it's it just all depends on where you are I wish I had a better better answer than that um hey let's talk about reports really uh one of the one of the biggest things is the Weather Service really really needs reports uh when they issue warnings like this uh they want to know hey it is is something actually um is is something actually uh occurring at the ground level uh hey we see 60 mph winds on radar but that's 2,000 ft off the ground uh is it actually a occurring at the ground level well that's where your reports come in and that helps them so much and uh so # tpot is the best way uh for uh for you to get reports directly to the Weather Service they watch that feed that hashtag on Twitter we watch it we help them with that and just make sure that they get those reports and U and make sure they're seeing them while they're doing all their busy stuff and helping get warnings out we we help them make sure that that they didn't miss anything there on the te spotter feed so uh so those reports are very valuable to them it helps them to know how the storm is strengthening weakening if it was nothing to begin with it just helps them kind of know what they're dealing with and U and today's no different so uh if you have reports of damaging winds uh please please send that to us that would be really good to know um so far we've gotten pictures of really good Shelf Cloud that moved up there into um into suner County a lot of thunder and lightning people are [Music] saying but so far no damage that we've gotten there in the tees spotter feed so that's good but uh but if there is damage we want to know about it so that we can pass that along all right our warning remains in effect till 8:00 so 20 minutes now left on that warning and um I'm hearing Thunder at my house so this storm's not finished yet down here in Williamson County so let me turn the lightning back on and yeah still getting a couple of new strikes out of it there's one over there off of U spant toown Road couple there in Arrington so still getting some still getting some like fresh lightning strikes out of it but um looks like it's producing maybe just a little less than it was earlier but that thing's about it's right over top of Triune right now and it's just about to start heading into Rutherford County Mary ask a good question here will these storms take away any energy from the storms heading our way later uh maybe some but a lot of these big complexes that come down I24 uh they really bring their own energy with them and so it's we typically don't just see them weaken because we've had you know one thunderstorm over Davidson County uh there would have to be a few things that come together to help the whole thing sort of fall apart so uh that's I wouldn't expect that to happen looks like the Weather Service just canceled that warning for Davidson so we should see that disappear uh so that's that's nice that warning is going to go away um but uh I I don't you no I really don't think that it's going to steal a whole lot of energy I think we'll just have to watch and see how it evolves but uh I would expect it to hold together unless there's other things that come together to to help it fall apart but I don't think one thunderstorm over Davidson County would would do the trick I just don't um all right so this warning is going to disappear it has disappeared on my other software and it's about to disappear off of this one so they've canceled the severe thunderstorm warning for Davidson County and uh we did have a little bit of wind damage up there in jolon and the bigger story now is not the severe thunderstorm it is the rainfall and let's take one more look at that that warning just disappeared there so before we go let's take one more look at the rainfall here and this is just one hour okay so some of this data has rolled off because uh because it's older than an hour so just in the past hour they've had 1.65 in let me go look at the this is the 12h hour and that's not going to be up to date the 12h hour data but but this this uh they've had a lot of rain here in jolton so that those totals are going to go up some and U uh it could be could be a little messy up there in jolon with with the creeks and streams so all right we are Warning free in Davidson and Williamson counties right now we have storms in both counties but uh it's noisy in Williamson and it's noisy up in Northern Davids uh but nothing severe at the moment but we'll be back on if there is we'll be over on Twitter in the meantime we'll be watching the next storm complex that's coming in uh from Kentucky we'll be watching that y'all watch it too don't be disconnected in case you need to uh get inside or whatever it is you need to do to to be safe during severe thunderstorms where you are um we'll be covering it over there on Twitter until we need to go live for uh for severe weather if there's a warning issued for one of our counties we'll if that happens we'll see you then but otherwise you guys have a good evening be safe out there all right talk to you later
