two games video game type numbers is how much fun youing for I'm going have a lot of fun uh especially you know we only thing that matters really to us is if we get a win if you get a win by all means you had a good day um that's the biggest thing um I I put up numbers in my past so the numbers don't really you know shock me I know what type of player I am what I'm capable of being in the future um but anytime get to win is fun so you know the locker rooms we jump in um we just got to cherish these moments and move on to too stting the game off six for six hting six different receivers that's got to be special as well get the ball around all guys yeah it just shows The Playmakers we got um and it also shows the depth we got too uh from The Freshman to the to the seniors like strep and JG uh to z h who's going to end up being a big time players for us right now and in and as we get going to the future of the Season uh but it just shows the depth the chemistry that we all have with each other on and off the field um but it it's for sure it's for sure starting to get more together as we get you going yeah let's talk about the offensive line how they gave you a lot of time to throw and they were basically one their blocks pretty much the whole game uh yeah that playing behind that old line when is a dream come true if you're a college quarterback uh especially by how they prepare with Coach Mir ball coach Chris Ball uh they one of the most hardworking guys on the team they're also the most hard coach on the team uh so you know anytime you know I come on Saturday I know I got one of the best Lin in the country and you know I know they going to give me as much time as I need and at the end of the day you know we going to make plays your first game at hard Roop just what did you think of you know the stadium and the facilities and the atmosphere and everything uh it was good for sure especially for our first game playing a good opponent like FAMU um me coming from FCS uh they're one of the best FCS teams around and you know to host them um it's it's a good opportunity for them and us uh but you know in the future you know I just can't wait to you know see hard Ro sell out we want to sell it out next week we want to sell it out Virginia Tech but you know we got to keep on holding up our end uh you know we just going to St take it one day at a time when we get a time and you know continue to no try with games this team this team has such a like a business you know business mind set as it relates to the last couple of games would you categorize your guys mindset as as being very businesslike and focused uh yeah that's just what coach crce ball instills in us um every day every Saturday is a new opportunity to get better um we got better than what we did from last Saturday and next Saturday we have to get better what we did this Saturday uh we only get one opportunity a week and you know we have to lay on the line for each other both sides of the ball and that's what we did today and we got to continue to do that you know as we get into next week in the following games can you tell us what you were thinking up 40 diving for the pine jumping over people um continue to compete uh every time I'm on the field uh I believe I'm the best player on the field and you know that's always going to be my mindset every time I still between those lines you know I'm going to compete uh for my teammates for the offense and for the defense and um it's really it's really just really just the guys that I have around me uh they make me want to be better they make they make the team want to go um we're a very motivated team we're a very connected team and you know that's something that a lot of teams in the country don't have U we just got to continue to keep growing on what we're doing what's it like for you you know your first pass of the game is touchdown pass to uh to Elijah and then next drive you know 50 y to uh stpo but you know what it like for you it's like okay like we're cooking early like you got everything's going well early uh it was good especially us being able to move the ball with base plays for us um we've still yet to get in our bag as an offense um but that's something that you know coach Dawson preaches is that routine plays you know win games that's something that we've been doing the last two weeks and that's just something that we got to continue to do and you know just keep on playing you know complimentary football both sides of the ball whenever defense gives us a big play we got to be able to respond offense where we have a bad player turnover we're allowing defense to respond for us so you know keep playing complimentary football and you know keep playing for each other and speaking speaking of complimentary football uh I think Damen and Mark average like nine almost n yards a carry on there you know attempts earlier in the game so how much does that help you in the passing game when they're just kind of pounding away that making my job easy um especially when we do our play action stuff I'm throwing a wide open People receivers running great routes o line protecting uh so you know having having those two guys back there you know it's a it's a blessing uh for sure and Daman to finally get his first touchdown as a hurricane um Mark to continue eating what he did last week got a chance to get Jay Law touchdown on his birthday Chris whey play AJ play uh so you got to see the dep of our running back room and you know we still got things to work on offensively we did not have a a great game the whole time U especially on fourth down we got to be better at fourth down that's I was glad we was in the situation today but you know we still got a lot to improve on they interview last week and you said in that interview that you were moving on pretty quickly to get ready for this one I'm sure you're already in your mind moving on to next week because that's how you're wired how important is that to send that message to the guys it's very important because we still we still yet to play our best ball um both sides of the ball so you know it it's good for us um but it's also something that as we get into the season we got to really mature even more than what we already are and you know it's really just keep preparing like we've been doing the last two weeks like we did in Fall camp and um the end of the day it's all about just winning games by any means if it's going to be a blowout that's good if it's going to be a tight game where we need both sides of the ball to come with it that's good but you know the biggest thing for us we just trying to continue to win games and you know just keep playing as a team awesome C thank you
