the Packers run an offensive system that practically the entire league runs like half the league runs the offense the Packers run so half the backup quarterbacks in the NFL know how to run that offense they know the basics of it they know probably at least some of the verbiage they could probably step into it relatively quickly the backup quarterback in Green Bay is Malik Willis whom they just got he he's been there less than two weeks and he didn't come from that offense and he has shown while he was a very talented player in college he has shown that he's a guy that's going to need some time he needs he needs to be in the position that someone like Zach Wilson is in now sit and watch a pro and learn under good coaches and try and come back and have a career a year or two from now he did not need to get thrust onto the field to start H basically his first week there the second game which is where he is now so the question that we raised was should the Packers make a trade should they trade for a backup quarterback Zack Wilson actually in theory could be one of them Zack Wilson his his first two years were the jet or was it just one year how many years was Michael laflor the offensive coordinator there did he get fired after one year or two years uh I will check after two I I the point is he played in that offense and he's the third string quarterback in Denver so he's highly uh Expendable so is he's someone he played for Matt lefleur's brother with the Jets so is he someone just throwing a name out there but I think it's an interesting question do the Packers trade for someone or do they just go with Malik Willis now the answer again this was a conversation we were going to have on Sunday a couple of days have gone by it appears they're going to go with Malik Willis and at least to this point they haven't made a roster move that I'm aware of but the question is will they especially if it goes really badly this weekend now Graziano pointed out they have not put Jordan love on the IR which means he is not obligated to miss four games the reason you do that is because you have reason to Hope SLB believe that he might come back in less than four games if that's the case and maybe you just try and live with it try and sneak in a win here or there let me call up their schedule unless you have it in front of you what what do their games look like because you just can't the way Detroit looks you can't fall that far behind in that Division if you want have any chance they got the Colts at home at Titans and the Vikings at home so home against the Colts I don't think that's an easy game at all that's a game that I definitely would have taken Green Bay to win if they had love anyone at point spreads what is the number on that game Colts looked pretty good last weekend they easily could have probably should have won that game against Houston Anthony Richardson looked good that feels like a tight game to me uh Indie minus three and a half indie minus three and a half on the road yeah Indie is a three and a half Point favorite at Green Bay because of Malik Willis you got to think that's assuming I'm assuming the only reason for sure if Jordan love was playing this game Green Bay would be favored for sure yeah that's a pretty big swing wow that is a big swing but it it sort of illustrates my point right do they need to make a move again if it's only going to be three weeks maybe you live with that you try and win two of the if you find a way to win two of these three games you're okay otherwise you're probably staring at one and three and that's trouble especially in a division where you have a team that looks really good
