what is my favorite way to set your face I'll give you a clue do you do like yeah spray yeah that was a clue you just give it away I you to hey I'm Tate McCrae and I'm in New York City getting ready for the VMAs tonight luckily you're so naturally gorgeous wow thanks Lily you're naturally gorgeous D tonight we're going for a very glowy bronzy skin and then silver antique M on the eyes we love a good winged liner snatched look and more filled in than usual a little darker eyeliner it's the worst when you when you get ready and then you don't like your look at the end but I feel like every single time that I work with them I really trust them and always feel like we get something that I really love and feel beautiful and really don't know how to do my own Glam very well oh my God she actually does do her Glam really well it's it's a dam vary all over the place like if I ever do like a makeup tutorial like I'll put concealer on like seven times like I do my makeup in Glam On Tour I think it all comes together at the end if you look at me in the middle of my process of doing my makeup it looks like it's like about to be a disaster I know I don't know you're going off scrip I am going off scrip God about that we should stick with the script let's just do let's stick with the script I agree what are you going to do nothing nothing everyone thinks that I like really think about my hair but it's actually like one of the last things I think about it gets so messy on stage and Tangled and you need fans blowing at you at all times I think about her hair more than she thinks about her hair 100% stresses me out Chad likes to play around with hairstyles sometimes and I have like a fear of cutting my hair because a girl's hair is very important to them one time he was like a going to take off an inch and he ends up taking off like six in add layers and then the layers were like a little ass Bob okay I've gotten my Glam done a million times but let's see how well I know my own routine so what products do I use to prep your face okay so you start with a serum and then you take that um little rolly thing and you ice out my face and then you put on the eye patches and while you're doing that you put cream on the rest of my face and you take off the eye patch and you put more cream and this you're good okay so do you think I apply heavy or light moisturizer on your skin I think you apply light moisturizer because heavy we've learned really breaks me out and you gave me um shaie dard and that is like the lightest one on my face yeah yeah cuz you're 21 so she doesn't need no heavy moisturizer no I was using the thickest moisturizer for so long and she was like girl what are you doing what is the one eyeliner that you always ask for okay I'm very very specific I always ask for like an out wi mhm and then and it's usually Stila and it's like a waterline and then you always go in with with the pencil right yeah yeah that's my favorite snatches the eye out of 10 so what is my go-to shade for your ey Shadow well every time I request a nice pretty gold and then we do brown right here it's always just like very warm tones that we always we always see bronzy and glowy what is my favorite way to set your face I'll give you a clue you do like yeah spray yeah that was a clue you just gave it away I'll give you a clue you would be a terrible like school teacher you'd be like my God you need some help and you just like Circle the that's you'd be that like that kind of teacher do we opt for a mat look or a dewy look always a dewy look always a Dey look 100% I feel like you never really put like too much like thickness on the skin it's very like light babe do you think you nailed my quiz I mean with the help from you yeah I only helped you on question I think I I feel like we we nailed it together yeah we did we're Team okay we're almost done with Glam let's go get changed we're doing a black lace cavali dress very short Sleek simple not too crazy we ended up cutting into like a mini dress which is so cute it's perfect thank you so much for getting ready with me I'll see you at the show hey [Music]
