away and on the hill the Lefty kber Valdez try to stay back for that power change up speed differential between the fast ball and the change up is huge hitters they have a hard time staying back okay all set to go now it's the right fielder Lawrence Butler Lauren Butler Andie deals that one is absolutely belted that's got a chance and it's off the out of town scoreboard now no waiting around right there he was ready to swing it on the first pitch most of the time you blast one down into the left field corner like that and you're standing on second base so I'm pretty surprised they didn't push it there but a nice job to fire it back into the infield quickly and keep that to a single this one belted deep left field on its way [Applause] gone a towering shot and they lead it it's two nothing he sent the first pitch over the wall must have dinner reservations cuz he wasn't wasting any time at the plate in that ADV bat love to see a hitter aggressive on the first pitch of an at bat you watch him from the on Deck Circle so when you step in the Box you're ready to pull the trigger wherever it's at really good job by the hitter total conviction on that swing this is JJ blade clobber to right field way back on they do it again backto back homers and they tack one on the board it's 3 nothing back-to-back Homer always a special feeling at the Ballpark especially if it's your team that does it and those guys get to slap hands at home plate this is the kind of thing that can really fire up a ball club and now a chance for Shay langers and first offering is fouled off Valdez multi-time Allstar he features a sinker a curb a change up oh this is deep to left Center way back there on its way gone he made him pay for that one and they boost their lead it's 4 nothing he absolutely crushed that one no doubt about that one boo we knew it wasn't coming back backto backto back home runs and these guys look so dominant right now pitcher might want to check and see if he's tipping his pitches or not but I tell you what if this was basketball that opposing team would call a timeout to try to slow down this offense manager out of the Dugout now and it looks like we'll see a change on the mound cber Valdez won't go any further and the Home Run really bit him today as he exits on the hook for the loss new Arm coming on after the break ready reliever out of the pen Caleb Orton he's into the game with the base is empty [Applause] so here's Brown at the [Applause] plate and that one hammered see you later it just got out of here and they add a run it's five zip and that shot makes their grip on the lead even tighter here's the left [Applause] fielder liner Basit and everything came together perfectly for him right there got a fast ball middle of the plate jumped all over it absolutely smoked that ball and now Zack gell ripped on a line makes the catch for the out batting here's the rookie third baseman Fly ball to right and that'll fall for a base hit they get it in quickly so first and second now one out with the way Defenders track down balls these days I mean both from the infield and in the Outfield there really aren't a lot of base hits on balls hit like that but lined and that's a base hit throw back in holds the runner at third base is now loaded only one away two consecutive base hits for these guys here pretty much a model swing on that one as he ripped it into the opposite field Gap and I'm sure he's going to be watching that one back on video because that's the kind of Swing you want to bottle so many positives that led to that knock so the Oakland lineup turns over and now the right fielder Lawrence Butler hit hard but foul off to the left one out basee is [Applause] full out to Center Meyers on the move huls it in and there's two away and he's hit safely at third a run comes in on the play man there's a sack fly to bring home another run in this inning these hitters are just piling it on we're seeing some really quality bats out of this team right now next is the designated hitter Brent Rooker he's already homered here in this [Applause] one and that one is lifted in the air Meyers makes his way towards it makes the grab after a long run and that'll do it oh man amazing catch to end the inning as a former outfielder I'm feeling proud right now saw the wall didn't get afraid held on to the ball back here in Houston and on the mound for Oakland in this one number 38 four pitch guy he's got some options to work with in terms of keeping hitters off balance so we'll see how he decides to utilize those weapons through this start here and whether or not he's able to mix them all in early or if he wants to hold something back a little bit later maybe second third time through the order and give them something they haven't seen it's tough when you know a guy's got that in his back pocket as a hit you really have to stay on your [Applause] toes and first off ring is fouled off one out base is empty this to center field under it and there're two down here's Alex bregman third the third baseman Alex bregman and that is in for a strike going one two out space is empty right side and this should do it throw to first and ball game and the A's take this one in a blowout good win by six runs always nice when you can win by a touchdown or a couple of field goals want to keep that momentum going knowing the offense can
