freaking just kind of described the entire game for you it seemed like a lot of highs and lows in yeah ups and downs for sure um Turned the ball over too many times I think that's kind of the end of the story had a chance to still win it at the end and uh yeah we just got to take care of the ball better um super proud of these guys we competed our asses off uh regardless of coming off a turnover and defense as well kept us in it so excited for that um was was awesome for them to be able to still give us a chance at the end you said despite the highs and lows you seem very very calm in the hle can you just explain how you stay calm when it's you know sometimes it's not going your way yeah I think uh I mean my confidence isn't going anywhere this this sucks this is you know want I'm I'm not going to forget about anytime soon but uh it's part of it you just got to flush it turn the page be able to do that give me give me 12 hours and it'll be all good tomorrow uh but but yeah I mean these suck how do you feel just playing though just getting all the time you had this preseason Mike City wish you had three more games for to play you talking about just what you gain from all of that yeah it was great um just great to be back out there um starting with the r game learned a ton going back to Vegas learned a ton and learned even more from from today so it was a ton of fun to be able to compete with these guys and and hopefully a lot of them are are still with us I know you're down on the interception but have you shown people showing yourself that I can play in this leag I can do yeah that's that's for you guys to to talk about decide um you know like I said my confidence isn't going anywhere uh feel good we did a lot of good things out there today um super proud of the way the guys competed uh you know with me I they had my back throw the whole day um defense offense and and everyone else not playing as well you always take a critical look at yourself and when you go through each of the plays and we don't know all the things that you're looking at without there and where guys are supposed to be but were there one or two of those interceptions that you can look at and go well this is this is what I didn't know there this is what I saw I saw something different than what I thought it was uh yeah I mean for all of them I'd say uh yeah anytime you throw an interception I'm the one that makes the decision on where to go with the ball so at the end of the day whether it's a regardless of the situation I put this on myself was there any underlying like common thing that stood out to you between some of those interceptions or uh no they were all all different um I think the the one that hurt us the worst was the Red Zone um can't turn the ball over in the Red Zone we already got points on the board um but yeah like I said uh learn a ton from it try you know obviously now you know the expectation would be you're not going to naturally get to play as much as you did in these games how hard is it I guess to not get to follow this up with another oname performance and what are the steps to try keep improving your game yeah same thing did last year and done you know other years when I haven't been starting uh so just continue to learn as much as I possibly can and continue to do whatever I can to help the team how can you in your weird position because you're behind two guys who NFL games how do you get better without playing Prett much uh practice reps it's kind of the life of you know a backup quarterback in the NFL I mean that's that's just the life that I've lived um being able to talk to C about it and learn a ton from him last year as well and and guys I've played with in the the past as well uh yeah just try to soak up as much as I possibly can and do whatever I can to help the team you describ your touchdown run and just overall your your feel in the pocket you seem to feel pressure pretty good today we're getting out some you know potential problem yeah it was good had a few opportunities to to move the chains um on a touchdown man Brevin and and Kelvin Harmon is one that I don't know if people saw but he he ran down the safety from a long ways away so he had to touchdown block so those guys definitely got the assist on that one what allows you to bounce back from some of those I mean the first two interceptions right afterwards the next Drive touchdown Drive what allows you to have that resilience yeah I think I mean the guys in the Huddle having my back the guys on the sideline having my back um knowing that they're going to come out and compete the same exact way every single time I mean and uh you know I feel like I know who I am at this point uh like like I said my confidence isn't going anywhere so just for me it's just turning the page and go play ball again when you think big picture Jerry said that he has a lot of belief in your potential you know sees the athleticism what gives you that long-term belief that this will click I think I just I've been through enough I think in these first first three years first four years uh to to be able to take a step back and learn a lot about myself uh you know what's important to me and why um and I think like I said I've been in two great organizations and and this one uh Second To None uh just as far as the guys in the locker room thank you guys thank you guys thanks
