Now to tell us about this investment, Marcus Julia consumers energy's new substation in Walker will give residents a peace of mind as the company works to improve its dependability and reliability, especially when needed. Most they can count on us to have the energy they need and for that energy to be there when they need it. Consumers energy is investing $9.5 million on a brand new electric substation for business owners and residents in the city of Walker. We have a number of substations throughout the community and as more homes and businesses connect, they take up a certain amount of that substation. I like to think about it as a certain percentage of that substation and eventually you get to a point where it's approaching full. And so this allows the community to grow. The nearly $10 million investment is part of consumer energy's reliability road map, a long term commitment to residents and to support future businesses in the area. Having a strong reliable energy grid is critical, right? We've deemed that electricity is an essential function for a home. And uh this investment by consumers energy will help to continue to build and strengthen that reliability that all of our residents can expect. The investment promises those who rely on consumers energy for power less outages and restored power within 24 hours. Even after severe storms, we all know intrinsically the value of making sure that your power stays on, you know, making sure that we're able to live our daily lives.
