rabos Radio podcast the number one source for everything South City [Applause] rabitos we got a absolute Club Legend like Tommy bird just he's in his last season he's off to England mate tell us a little bit about your relationship just with him personally uh yeah he's been um great for me uh I think he was probably the first person when I came in and did my first pre season to come up and asked me what my name was and you know he's great like that he just gets around everyone especially the new boys he makes him feel welcome so uh we built a great relationship and it's sad to see him leave but we're just going to enjoy the the last couple months that we've got together and uh as a team we're going to try to send him off oh he means everything I guess not so much for myself um watching him gr up and then for this whole club what he means to sou Sydney and um yeah it's pretty sad knowing that he's going to be playing his last few games but the best like what we can do as a team is to just be there and just get get some results and just um so some good good good performances leading into these next few games and what you learned from a BL like Thomas bur just all the years he's been here and obviously his personality but what about on the field manate yeah he's very professional uh on the field and enough it you see him he's always in the ice bath and doing little things like that to get his body right for the game on the weekend so it's probably one thing that I've like from him and KN about's he's a good family man mate yeah yeah extremely he's always got his family around his little girls here so um it's you know it's great to see him uh he's he's such a great dad and um hopefully you know in the future want to have a family you know looking up to people like him and um you know just trying to be a good dad like like him so yeah and what are the boys going to miss about Thomas the most do you think uh probably just little moments little stuff he says just you know making us all laugh uh especially in serious moments he'll say something and you know everyone will just start cracking up so probably probably stuff like that um his personality for sure he's he's the best I know he's going to take a huge chunk once he leaves and he's going to be pretty hard to replace as far as his personality comes he's he's the best Vibe around the place it's funny and yeah um I think what I miss most about Tommy is just the way he's around the boys um he's like a big brother to all of us and um never a dull moment you know I've been here for a few years I I think every St Tommy have an off day and I'm sure he has but he bring best to train and every day and um makes you happy and um yeah this is a he's the best play he's the best play ever so that's what I miss about Tommy and you got a message for Tommy love you and good luck for the rest of rest of his career um all I'm going to say is uh we're going to miss you big blood and um thank you for everything that you've done not only for the boys but for a club over the years you're a legend and yeah we're going to miss you uh love brother enjoy England and know be back see you then
