Huddle Unleashed: Checkers with Chez

all right here we go see that's a thing yeah see hope so I didn't even know that was a thing you know what we're going to play it that way cuz it it made me look I didn't know that was a thing so I have to give oh I flip this yeah you can flip it yeah three two one here we [Music] go let's go baby got it come on man and welcome to this week's Wisconsin huddle Unleashed I'm Zach Hanley he's chz maloi we're going to attempt to play Checkers chz when's the last time you even played Checkers it has to been 10 years ago maybe okay good cuz I've been practicing since we stopped this show every single day three hours a day check I'll let you go first all right so your last last year in Madison correct yes sir what's been your favorite part about just campus um I would say you know I'm not I don't have a crazy school schedule so you know I kind of get to like have free time and you know kind of enjoy Madison the summer uh my last couple Summers I was kind of cramming in school so I had classes and stuff like that so I would say just like you know having some free time be able to do stuff with like the guys and you know my family coming up and be able to do certain things so favorite restaurant on campus I wouldn't say on campus but naal 15 a little little it's right right next to the capital but it's not like right on campus yeah what's your go-to meal there I mean every time I go there s s the OWN just kind of just bring stuff out and I just got to like fend and try to figure out what I want Checkers to figure this out yeah I don't want to I don't want to keep getting jumped here so a lot of strategy in this game and see I wanted to go there see that's a thing yeah see I hope I didn't even know that was a thing you know what we're going to play it that way cuz it it made me look I didn't know that was a thing so I have to give oh I flip this yeah you can flip it yeah wow interesting that just threw me for a loop so with the big 10 becoming even bigger out of the four schools which one you know are you looking forward to playing the most I know you don't play all of them but like if you had if you could pick um I mean I think the one of that on our schedule I mean that's you know like I think everyone's like childhood I wouldn't say dream school but like school that always has like the best uniform in school that like you know always has like you know had those like star star players back in the day the Oregon so I would say Oregon probably the the newest team that got added that I would want to play you mentioned the Unis if Wisconsin could do alternates and you were designing them how would you what what would be the color scheme um I wouldn't go crazy cuz I feel like Wisconsin is you know huge on tradition and I think that's like what makes Wisconsin so special but I think I would try to like stay within our color realm and I would like definitely have some black not that Black's like one of our colors but like it fits our color scheme so I'll definitely throw some blacks in there I think yeah I've seen a couple pictures of you know guys making it just all black would you go all black I would go like I think I would go not completely all black I think I'd go black and red yeah and not just be like completely black but I think black and red would be my go-to and then obviously you got to bring it out during a night game right oh for sure like a big a big time game now I'm stuck so like could I no I can't do that than you killing me right now so game day routine get to the stadium what are you what are you listening to what's kind of getting you gone uh I think every year has been a little different for me um but I think like this year and even last year get obviously before I got hurt but I would say like I don't know I've been just kind of like on this future wave you know I'm not a guy that's like listening to like anything crazy I don't like try to get like super uptempo before the game cuz like I don't like getting R up 6 hours before the game you know what I mean and there's always music playing in the locker room as well so like that's what people feel like forget they're like there's I just I just move crazy you're good you're good um there's a lot of music playing in the lock room as well who's who's got the aux in the locker room coach birie yeah yeah so like sometimes you can't even hear your own music so sometimes like if I'm just stressing hour in the hot tuu and what not like there's already music playing this is not looking too good for me not looking too good at this F no I can't move that back no and if I if if I put this guy here can't you jump in yep and does that like take one away or the whole thing away ERS is terrible I rather play like chess I see I can't I can't play chess I've never played chess you play chess you good at chess I'm better at chess I think at least I thought you could move him like this or something like that no that's awesome why you get this guy unless this unless he just saves the day wow all right now you're Chas now you're hunting my guys yeah cuz these ones can't move backwards right right he's not great so growing up did you play any board games or you know anything like that um I wouldn't say I was like a huge board game person I was always just a gamer yeah like I'm an only child so I wasn't like I didn't have like a ton of people play board games with so I was always on video games so what was your game back like when I was a young younger or like like teenage teenager I would say like when I was younger I was always on like my PS2 playing like some sort of like Mortal Kombat something like that yeah that's good in the words of Mortal Kombat Finish you right yeah that was that was you you you played this way more than I have I told you I practiced all just for this moment no I really didn't really didn't well jez if you had to you know rate your performance on Checkers out of 10 I'd say a solid three
