We've been talking about this weather impact alert, day temperatures are soaring. Let's get right to chief meteorologist Betsy Kling. Uh So how does it look so far tonight? Betts it is definitely going to be a muggy muggy night here in Northeast Ohio. The temperatures did indeed peak in the low nineties across northern Ohio and that will continue as far as the heat index near the 100 degree mark through the rest of the evening through eight o'clock. That heat and humidity combo has been nasty today. It will still be nasty and this is really pinpointed more toward after school activities that so many families are involved in. Now that school has started. So we kind of have the combo of the heat advisory through eight o'clock for Cuyahoga, Cuyahoga was added this morning. Then Lorraine Erie here on Richland and Ashland counties and Points West. We also have an air quality alert that continues through midnight. That is for Lorraine Cuyahoga Medina summit, Portage Geauga Lake in Ashtabula County. Say it 10 times fast. Basically, it's still summer here in the land and all this heat. All this humidity has really been kind of painful for us today, heat index still in the low and mid nineties in northern Ohio here, even as we are past the peak heating of the day, but the temperatures will hold in the low nineties throughout the rest of the evening, we will slowly see the mercury backing off later on tonight. So if you are going to be going to the Guardian's game plan on drinking a lot of water, stay hydrated and do your best to stay cool because it definitely looks like things are going to stay sticky and then we have to talk about tomorrow morning too. We're gonna highlight this in big weather coming up in just a few minutes in your full forecast. Not these thunderstorms that are racing through mid Michigan right now, we got a whole another round that's going to develop in Wisconsin and drop in here and that will be a problem for our early morning commute. We're gonna talk all about that. The rest of your weather impact alert day, uh, details coming up in just a few minutes. All right. Good to know Betsy. Thank you so much.
