what inspired you to want to go to UCLA I wanted to go to Colorado I had my mindset I'm like I'm going to Colorado long story short my mom tells me a week of you're not going to take the trip and I'm like why the tickets are booked night before we're supposed to fly out they call said they took a kid from Colorado he's actually still there I'm not going to name drop but he's still there and they took another kid over me so then I went to my senior year essentially with no offers and this is the time where uccla was transitioning from Steve Alfred to mck Cronin so there was still like UCLA was shaky so I went to my senior year had to sit out 3 months cuz I transferred schools and didn't move houses and long story short I played my first game and Mick Cronin came to the game was like we want to take you so I was like and I want and signing day was like two weeks away so I was like I want to sign with my friends so I'm going just kind of show up down there and see how it goes and it ended up being one of the best decisions I could ever made and it's funny cuz like in the time and the moment you be thinking like why is this happening like when Colorado pulled back they offer I was like what am I going to do
