without you it is so true in the Bible the word for Spirit for the spirit of God is the same word for breath or wind or air What flows into us as Believers is the holy spirit it's the holy Breath of God that Breath of God empowers us strengthens us causes us to follow Jesus causes us to live the way God calls us to live it's the Breath of God in us holy spirit in us as Believers it touches us changes us purifies us empowers us strengthens us it's the Daily Bread of the word of God is so important but it's holy spirit being in us and acting through us and filling us and overflowing in us that causes us to be what God's really causing us to be we are the Agents of change in this world Christianity has always been and always will be until Jesus comes back and renews this world the Agents of change in this world it holds back the evil influence of the world system and that's what Christianity has always done if you look at the history of Christianity you'll see this over and over and over again through the centuries and I'm going to say that something that was impressed upon me this week and it's been in my mind for a while but it's really strongly impressed with me this week is what Isaiah the prophet 750 years before Jesus was dealing with a corrupt political system in his time and he had the word of God that spoke to to the people and this is in Isaiah chapter 28 therefore hear the word of the Lord you scoffers who ruled his people in Jerusalem and I say it's the same thing we ruled as people in Washington DC because you have said we have made a covenant with death and with shaol we have an agreement when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us for we have made lies our refuge in the political world we've made lies our refuge and in falsehood we have taken shelter therefore thus says the Lord God behold I am the one who is laid as a foundation in Zion a stone a tested Stone a precious Cornerstone of a sure Foundation whoever believes will not be inh and I will make Justice the line and righteousness the plum line and hail Will sweep away the Refuge of lies and water will overwhelm the shelter of death then your Covenant with death will be en olded and your agreement with shol will not stand now you may be asking why am I reading that because I'm declaring the truth of God the prophetic word of God over this nation because Isaiah had the same problem as we have now you can see it in the political world on television on the advertisements that people have made a covenant with lies and a covenant with death in the political world and I declare that we as Christians as Believers need to stand against this Covenant of death and these lies that are going out into the world and to speak truth and to pray to stand up for righteousness and we need to pray for this nation I thank you for that Lord God for causing that to to happen I thank you for your peace Lord Jesus in this world in this nation I pray for reconciliation to Jesus throughout this nation and this land I pray father God that you give us peace amen
