right then everyone this is it I've had enough I'm quitting I am leaving YouTube new career choice backing to me not hosting the stack not going to be a s Park something new time for a change let's go purely purely purely purely bilder man it's purely bilder ofs m m Jerry and Lads yeah go until the show comes out at the theater Royal yeah well uh I'm feeling very excited uh I'm feeling very nervous uh I'm feeling all of the feelings that you feel uh and and I'm completely sober and it's um yeah it's it's a class day to day like we're just getting everyone this is the first time that the full newcast and crew is together at Jerry and Su we're at the first day of our big expansion of Theater Royal um humble beginnings now now big big future ain't that right Dean absolutely mate uh I'm also double buzzing to be here um I've waited a long time to be on this stage again and my excitement is absolutely Brant to be back on this stage and everyone has just had a really good time we've just done my first read through and it's went absolutely mint um and we've had lots of great feedback already I've got to say has been some Evolution this show like has from starting Grand Theater absolutely absolutely it's like it's like you know it's like Newcastle clambering back up through the leagues again to the Champions League I feel like that's what we've done you know we started at Lael the a nice little theater in wly b um we then took it on to live we saw it out there and now we've transferred to the big leagues transferred to theater Island Newcastle so like it's going to be yeah go on if if anyone has a story of pely Bel or the season ticket it's uh it's all about Hope and about um striving for a better life for yourself and you know the boys in the story all the want is a new beginning A New Hope and you know we felt this weird connection to the to the project going to somewhere bigger like Theater Royal like we had this Hope from the beginning from the the tumble Beginnings at Laurels to to live theater we've just hoped for it to to get bigger and we feel like it's a story that even though it's from the area and it's from Newcastle it can be told anywhere um and and and we like think people will relate to it it's a very human story but the main thing is it's been told here I think you know and that's and that's great for us um us as actors us as you know genuine Northeast Northeastern as is that thing bang on Dean bang on um and the rest of our cast as well you know we all originate from here so it's all nice home grown Talent uh and like Jack said it's a story that everyone can relate to whether you're a football fan or you're not a football fan uh there'll be something in it for everyone up the tune ma join by the very time plays about 27 different characters place did a smashing job there in the read through are you excited for this one at the theater oh I can't wait I've had butterflies all day the read through went amazing um and now I'm just can't wait to get started in rehearsals how big is this though being at the so evolution of the show isn't it it's in it's actually insane and like we've I would have never even dreamed that this would have happened um from starting off so small but still it was so powerful even in its smaller stages um and so for it to grow and grow like the the power that it's got back behind it now it's I mean yeah it's incredible for those that haven't seen the show in the in the previous locations being what can they expect from Jerry and SE H they can expect I mean just like barrels of chaos um masses and masses of chaos so much joy it's got dark to it it's got gut um but they'll come away feeling like hopeful and happy um and like part of a community and that's like what Newcastle is and and they'll feel that they'll feel the presence of Newcastle within this sure definitely hello I'm Bill Ward and I'm playing Mr mccarton so Jerry Jerry Jerry's dad and Bridget's dad and the wife of Mrs MC yeah I'm playing the wife um and the mom Mrs mccarten my name is Michelle Heaton um and I was actually born and raised in Gates head where this is set so I'm super excited it's a proper representation of what I got brought up in that's for sure I'm eron Mullen I'm playing Bridget um Jerry's sister and yeah I'm just so excited it is very exciting because I know the US haven't been part of the the previous shows but the rise of this show has been phenomenal to see and it's going to be great to see over a thousand Jord and people coming to this the to enjoy the show um I mean yeah for for me um it's incredible that we're actually here at um the theater Royal in Newcastle you know I grew up watching shows here and I always wanted this stage to be something you know on my booket list and and we're here not only are we performing on this stage but we get be part of a performance that has you know the Northeast at its heart and yeah the reviews and and um and everyone who's participated in so far has got it here and so it's incredibly humbling to share the stage with people who have already done it have you seen you must by seen Pur before you watched it again watched it back I saw I saw the film um and funnily enough I saw this script uh 18 months ago I was doing a workshop for a new musical that Jamie Eastlake who's the writer and director director of this uh had written and um and I worked with him for a week um about a year and a half ago and he sent me this he he sent me the script for this to as a kind of a kind of the to for the tone of the musical that he was uh writing at the time and I I remember reading it and saying to him this is this is brilliant what are you doing with this and he said that he he'd run it a couple of times at Laurels and he was just about to do it alive I think and he had high hopes for it and here we are and what what a bit of writing it is it's just a fabulous bit of writing it's very funny um but it's also it's quite touching in places and there's some Darkness looking in there too so it's it's just kind of got everything and it's about this wonderful City of Newcastle too so it's h yeah it's it's a it's a belting show so good see what I did that finished than you right then people now it's time to meet the next character of the play me that's right this is the new adventure this is the new rule right I've sacked off the YouTube Saed off the host and fan zones and presenting and interviewing well not interviewing just done it there uh All That Jazz right give it up act now so there we go won't be long for in Hollywood you know bit Jurassic Park then West stand out when I'm not too busy for Christmas bit West action uh just kidding but delated hope you win isn't too bad should have kept the make so today to announce that I will be in Jerry and Su the play coming here to the theat Royal in October make sure you get your sell tickets the ticket link will be in the description you've heard from the real actors you've heard from the real stars of the show I just got a little Cameo at the end happy to get involved there as a reporter it's going to be brilliant listen the play is fantastic I watched it last year just went there as a as a fan to see it because I loved p b the film so much I got invited by these lot to to go at Jerry and SE last year the opening night when Dar heels was there and a few journalists were there and uh and whatnot and it was a great night it was a great show absolutely loved I think I I did plug it last year remember I did I did some plug in last year for you to get down to the live theater on the keyc to watch it well this year as we know they've leveled up they're now at the theater Royal 1,300 capacity oh amazing stuff so they going to be here I'm going to be here at this theater for a full week from it's the 2nd of October to the 5th of October so for that week YouTube's out the window acting takes Center Stage right looking forward honestly it's just another M experience out of my life and out of my CV really uh really happy to get involved another string of my B if you like you I mean just something new just just doing new stuff and enjoying it enjoying life enjoy yourselves as I say do you know what I mean so just I canot wait to get started here they're all in there now doing their full dress rehearsals from my Lanes top your head don't need them do really don't need me rehearsals it's all off it's all up here so be of piss ah yes honestly well done everyone there today it's been it's been a great uh little warmup day then going to put the real work in now for the next few weeks before the show does go live at the start of October I'm really really excited to get involved honestly wait until you see what they've got planned we'll show you a bit more towards the time maybe a couple days before uh the October 2nd when the dates get underway we'll show you the set and everything as you would have seen in the interviews bit of War Flags in the background there you're going to see a lot more of that the atmosphere is going to be cracking it's going to be Sensational and I'm buzzing that play this gets to be somewhere as huge as this Theater Royal you know theaters and players seem is quite you know POS a class and all that this is a very real story as we know if you've seen the p b film or you've read the book season ticket or you've been to say Jerry and S the play before it's very real it's very Northern it's very authentic there's laughs in there there's despair in there you know there's sadness there's happiness there's everything but more than anything it's a crease it's an absolute crease and and the lads and lass who play those rules are absolutely fantastic you know they do a smashing job of the characters and it's a Quality quality play I cannot wait to get stuck into it and I hope you along for the ride as well the ticket link is in the description to get Jerry and SE
