Saturday 10 PM Tropical Update: Invest 91-L could bring impacts to Louisiana midweek

Let's get right into it. This is Invest 91 L. It does have a high chance for tropical development. It's now in the southern Gulf of Mexico so it could become our next name storm in the coming days as it drifts northward somewhere near South Texas along the Mexican coastline, getting into the next several days. But eventually I put on the Spaghetti models here. This could shift up to the northeast and move, maybe move somewhere inland in East Texas. Western Louisiana, getting into Wednesday and Thursday. So this is something we'll be watching definitely closely in the coming days. Overall what we need to know. It's really just gonna be a rain maker for us regardless of development. It's doesn't look like it's going to blow up into anything big. Maybe it becomes a depression, maybe a tropical storm. The next name on the list is Francine. Regardless, we are going to see a lot of moisture coming into our part of the gulf coast throughout the middle for the middle of the work week. So that is what we really are planning on at this point with Invest 91 what we know. Now we could see some heavy rounds of rain, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this upcoming week. So just a few days away, that heavy rain could lead to some localized street flooding during the midweek time frame. Also, it looks like it could be breezy as a result of this system throughout the midweek time frame. And also watching for some minor coastal flooding possible throughout the middle of this week. So a lot of time to kind of watch it and see what's going to happen. A lot of time to kind of get ready. But overall not expecting anything major other than some more soggy rainy weather for us, some breezy days and maybe some minor coastal flooding getting into Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but make sure you are checking back for the latest on this in case there are any big changes we'll have to watch and see where it goes in the coming days. So here's our seven day forecast tomorrow and Monday, nothing to worry about great days. Finally, we dry out will be less humid temperatures in the mid to upper eighties. But then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, we'll be watching invest 91 for those impacts for us. So looking like a soggy stretch for a couple of days this week and then we dry out quickly behind that looks like by Friday and Saturday of next weekend, we'll be turning dry and less humid again with temperatures staying in the eighties even to next Weekend.
