Definitely take along a lot of water. Huh? Gary? Oh, absolutely. You know, and that's what we got to deal with here. And the main weather impact for us is the heat that's gonna start to pick up a little bit. Now, overall, I think over the next several hours we're gonna watch, uh, you know, in the next few days we're still gonna continue to heat up, but we've got a slight chance for rain and it's kind of what some of you saw today just because of the way the pattern is setting up. I wanna talk about how that set up and why some of us are much, much cooler. We had this cloud cover that kind of hung tough today. We still got the 90 it's still pretty hot, slightly above 92. Normal is 88 at this point and our humidity is up a little bit with a south breeze at around 15 miles an hour. But this is the tell tale sign with temperatures in the nineties locally. Look just a little further west. 73 in Columbia, 80 Kirksville, 74 Springfield and almost 90 in Kansas City in way hotter conditions. And that's kind of what we dealt with as we saw the rain and the cloud cover and watch this rain. It looks like it wants to continue to move right here and then all of a sudden f, right to the south and that's what we've kind of dealt with today. We've been on the periphery of that. But if you're in RAA, you're in Sullivan, Herman, maybe a little bit of light rain, but really cloud cover has been with us and it will continue to be with us as well due to the upper level wind and the way this pattern is set up, that's why we've seen that. Now, temperatures will stay in the mid eighties the rest of the night as we've got temps in the upper seventies, it is still muggy. I can't rule out something similar due to that upper level pattern, which I'll show you why that's going to be in just a second. But for the rest of the, and I don't think there's gonna be any rain for us the rest of this evening, maybe even a separation of clouds, a nice sunset. But by tomorrow morning, it's not out of the question that something similar happens yet again from Rala to Herman to Columbia Bowling Green. But then once that kind of fizzle out, I don't think it's out of the question, a few showers by 9, 10 o'clock overall, it's gonna be a nice day and a hot day with the sun returning for most of us, as we continue to say, on the periphery of this high pressure, which continues to provide sinking air. It's a hot air mass and the wind around that as we see really moves around that clockwise fashion and that's what's really riding uh along that. So that's why we're seeing the movement of that. We'll watch this over the next couple of days, continue to build and strengthen over our area. Really for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, when it comes to heat though Monday, it is still hot. It's going to feel like it's well over 100 degrees and we start to take up that humidity as well. You'll notice that. I think Tuesday is probably the hottest day from top to bottom, not only in the morning, but when you add the humidity, it's gonna feel like it's over 100 and five degrees. Many areas in the Midwest under a heat advisory or excessive heat warning wouldn't be surprised to see if we're under some sort of heat advisory starting tomorrow. We'll keep you up to date for a weather impact alert day. However, we'll start to see somewhat of a brief relief 94 98 99 very close to 100 but it will feel like it's way over that. It has not felt like August, we would expect this is going to happen, but still something we pay attention to slight
