hi it's Shane from laage plan Healthcare today we're walking around Crescent Heights in Calgary and We Came Upon This City oak tree so it's a Bur Oak and have a look at this Lisa this is see all these Woody growths on the Twigs this is called oak gall wasp that uh creates it so it's a wasp that actually makes these growths and they complete their life cycle there and when they leave it can take several years for these to fall off but it's an aesthetic thing doesn't harm the tree in any way it's just uh a little unattractive but doesn't affect the health hope call was
