[Music] hey guys Freddy Tech back with another video from CFL Tech and we're looking at Direct TV's TV promise page here as far as the blackout goes that continues on now it's just beyond the third week Mark for the uh blackout of the major networks across many major cities now this TV promised page is set up to give you some guidance and an update on what's going on of course now this uh this battle still goes between tegna and Direct TV each one blaming the other of course which is typical with these Carriage disputes and unfortunately who get shut out it's the customers they get the short end of the deal as always and of course they're still basically paying full monthly prices for their service and really getting less than what they paid for initially so not a good look as far as what's going on between these two companies and we're taking a look at the TV promise page and we'll link it down below now it gives you ways to watch the NFL and the college games this weekend during the holiday weekend at the time of this recording so there's a lot of big football games going on you have Saturday's NFL games on NBC or peacock exclusive you have Sunday's NFL Regional games on CBS and fox you have Christmas Day NFL triple header on CBS FOX and ab BC and of course Saturday's three college bowls on ABC so the people who lost these networks with this dispute now we'll have to find alternative ways and some of them probably have already found a way to get around this but for those who haven't found a way or maybe looking for a different option we have this link here for you and this video so hopefully this is helpful now when you're on the TV promise page it gives you that information about why they don't have the channels and of course it's TNA's issue on this page with it being for Direct TV so of course we expect that and then you can go down a little bit on the uh section here with the section of our promise now you can select the service that you have Direct TV stream or Direct TV Erse and you can hit your zip code and it lets you know which channels may be off of your system due to this any disputes that are going on that's with any uh Network owner now for our ZIP code we luckily did not find anything now when you go down here to have more information we are here to help and then if you go up a bit more here there's some links or a link here um you can do they gave you the information on which games might be affected and then here you have or view other ways to watch so we'll click on that and that it brings you to another page don't miss out on your favorite local channels and sporting events now learn how alternative ways to watch your local channels with sport including in apps and with an overthe a antenna and it says here unfortunately tegna does not currently permit us to air its content so if you've been impacted by a loss of channels visit tvpromise.com and enter your ZIP code for status updates and to see if you qualify for any credits now always keep that in mind you could always contact Direct TV's customer service to see if you can get some type of credits for the inconvenience they have been issuing some smaller credits also if you use a separate outside app you may want to see if you can get reimbursed for that as well say you're paying for peacock or Paramount plus to get your local channels to watch the sporting events you might get some reimbursement for those as well so they are pretty flexible into some degree within reason um to keep the customer happy as or as happy as possible during this dispute now we don't see any end in sight especially now with the holiday week coming up chances of negotiations going on in the next few days probably are pretty low but going into 2024 this should continue but hopefully in the first week or two of the new year they should get some kind of resolution we can hope but there's no guarantees of course now here's some instruction here um on ABC CBS FOX and NBC so it gives you the different options for the apps and whatnot so it's really nice that they have this you know as probably the least they can do as far as you know trying to keep the customers informed and also um giving alternatives to watch their favorite channels and sports and what have you so um we'll link this down below hopefully this was helpful if you weren't aware of this website so we'll link it down below hope you're doing great at the time of this video and having a great holiday season please like share subscribe hit the notification Bell so you know when the next video drops from CFL Tech thank you and thank you for this great year of subscriber growth we look forward to 2024 Freddy Tech will be checking out of this one soon to be back with another take care [Music] PA
