Grading Every Position Group on The Jets Roster

Jet's roster is set it's time to grade [Music] it what is going on your je fans appreciate you stopping in title self-explanatory going to grade every single position group on the New York Jets roster love these grade uh SL ranking videos so let's start at quarterback and we're going to use three different criteria the talent of that position group the depth of that position group and then d/v you'll see repeatedly which is me weighing the durability SL versatility and coming up with a total with Talent being more weighted than the others let's be honest if I ask you the best wide receiver room in the NFL you say the Dolphins cuz of Tyreek Hill and and Jaylen wad not because of Braxton varios but at quarterback the talent isn't a um Aaron Rogers still very very talented the depth is an A minus for me I think uh I definitely looking back to last year I was like hey man you know it's a backup quarterback most of them are kind of not very good and that kind of Tanked our season so the Jets address that Tyrod Taylor he is arguably the best backup quarterback in the NFL right now in the conversation especially with Gardner muu and jacobe brassette uh being day one starters now so probably between guys like tyod Taylor or maybe jamus Winston um are the best backup quarterbacks in the NFL durability versatility I mean yeah let's be honest we're rolling out the oldest quarterback in the NFL off of an injury um he was an Iron Man for like 17 years but in 2022 he was banged up uh and in 2023 he was out for the whole year and now he's you know 41 and Tyrod Taylor is also starting to get a little nicked and nagged in the latter years of his career even though he was very durable in his starting years in Buffalo as well so total B+ in the quarterback room for me I think that the NFL Executives GMS and Scouts ranked Aon Rogers is like the eighth eighth best quarterback in the NFL great be awesome freaking awesome I will take it if Aaron Rogers is the eighth best quarterback in the NFL and Hassan Ric stops being an [ __ ] we're going to win the division we're going to win the division given normal variance at other spots so I will take it to the bank that's the best quarterback room we had in a long time um what did I have the quarterback room rated rated as last year for reference B+ as well okay so not much has changed you got a better backup though offensive tackle room man this was my just looking back to last year too I want to see if there's any spots where the the team went down at least for my two cents so no def defitely up last year this was the group I was harshest on in these videos in these rankings and it's not personal against the the likes of Makai beckon who for what it's worth looked pretty good at guard um I think he definitely wouldn't be able to be a wide Zone guard but to do some do some uh Gap blocking as a guard maybe that'll work out better for him uh but you know the likes of of beckton and Dwayne Brown and and Max Mitchell heading into last year it just wasn't up to enough for a Super Bowl Contender and I'm glad that the J they really they upgraded the the whole entire room because you get two new starters then you draft old fashion new and then everyone else goes down a step and Max Mitchell and Carter Warren are you know Carter Carter Warren is another year of development he actually has a fall off season this year he looked pretty good in the preseason um max Mitchell is a year another year removed from the blood clots so a really really great overhaul of this unit I mean the talent is an a it's in a you have tyrant Smith is one of the he's probably the most talented tackle the Jets have rostered in my life is he a better jet than to brickashaw Ferguson who played for 70 million snaps in a row no of course not but he might he's he's more talented I'm sorry brick I love you tyen Smith is another level um and Morgan Moses very talented old fashion talented as hell right depth is an a you have a backup who's a top 12 pick you have two mid round picks who are your tackles four and five you can't you can't ask for much better than that um durability size versatility is what really prevents this room from being an A in general uh because we know Terence Smith is on a pay as you go contract if you could tell me right now he will play 11 regular season games and be healthy like towards the end of the year I would sign for that right now I would take it right uh Morgan Moses has been an Iron Man but he's also you know 33 and he had the the pectoral injury last year cter war and Max Mitchell have both had injury issues so that is the the one knock on this unit but overall good enough to be a B+ which I had this room at a c minus last year so I mean and I think they well to be fair even when they were healthy they probably played at like a c minus and then the injuries just killed them and you can't you can't plan for that level of injury like if we're going to be if we're going to lose our top four tackles there's there's nothing you can do about that but the Jets have done as much as you could realistically do to deal with some injuries at the offensive tackle position interior offensive line so your starters being Simpson and ABT on the other side of Joe titman Talent is definitely a B+ I mean avt is an a I think Simpson is I don't know what like a B minus of talent titman a B2B plus I guess maybe even higher uh but I think collectively the the room of B plus of talent is Farah the depth is probably I think this might be the lowest depth score on the roster because West whiter just went to IR now it's not like West whiter is great he's like a replacement level backup but um he was their most experienced backup interior offensive lineman o Xavier Newman was K kicking ass in the preseason I want I don't want to take that away from him but uh last time I saw Xavier Newman in the regular season he was gave up seven pressures in one half I can't completely unsee that yet from Xavier Newman so now you're talk they'll probably Elevate like Leo or maybe Jake Hansen so it's pretty much like roster Bubble Level players as your backups which you know so you got to go light somewhere I suppose and you can't control that Wester got injured but I do think that depth is probably the lowest depth score on the on the um roster I almost gave it a D+ to be honest but I was like you know what we'll we'll uh we'll give Xavier Newman the benefit of the data we'll bump it up to a c minus um durability SL versatility yeah Simpson's been available obviously avt back-to-back years with the season injury and then um titman had some stuff he dealt with throughout last year but nothing crazy besides you know AV you're just hoping this is the year that he puts it all together total for a B minus so you know B+ for the offensive tackle room B minus for the interior offensive line shoot man we'll still sign for that we'll still sign for that you know that would be what a B+ for your quarterback and and an overall of a b to a a B+ is for your offensive line I mean good Lord we would have prayed but we would have sacrificed to have that last year so try to keep that in perspective uh I also had this room at a B minus last year so that didn't move a ton for me um I I I thought that Lake thinon was going to bounce back to some extent last year and obviously that did not happen running back here is probably where I'm going to be higher than than most or maybe higher than is justifiable because there's a lot of unproven parts to this running back room but I freaking love this room I love this room so much man I love these kids so Talent a you know Brie Hall at the top he's your Workhorse he's as talented as any running back in the NFL B Allen Uber talented Isaiah I like Isaiah Davis I just something about there something about the way he moves his shiftiness I like him I think he's going to be that kind of running back where it's like third and eight and you know Rogers just like hits him in the flat and he he makes a iy miss and he picks up 11 yards and it's like super frustrating for the other team's defense I like Isaiah Davis a lot you know obviously Bron Allen is a fan favorite for a good reason he's an absolute tank um I I think that all the running backs are going to be a lot more successful in the new scheme I think that they're going to be Bene benefited by having Aaron Rogers by having a better offensive line I think brilon Allen seems natural as a pass catcher him and Isaiah Davis and they both can block and then you have I Banda who's your four who okay you know we weren't sure if he was going to make the team but he had a really good preseason and I'm willing to bet that eana Cana is better than most teams running back four if they even have a fourth running back a lot of teams running back four on the practice quad so it's an a for me the the the depth is is awesome the the durability you know a Braes a year removed from the surgery now you have all kinds of varied skill sets I the running back room is I love it man um where was it at for me last year it was a B plus okay so better um definitely didn't play like a B+ last year I liked Michael Carter though too to be honest Michael Carter was guy um what's next tight end Talent tight end is the room that to me is just like solid like Tyler con and Jeremy rocker just solid um nothing sexy but he's very adequate uh Talent is is a b the depth is a B minus now you could say it should be lower right because I was killing the um the interior offensive line for their depth but I just I'm imagining how this is going to how they're going to use these guys so so 11 personnel is the going to be their primary Personnel grouping so most of the time they're going to have one tight end on the field so you have one guy on the field most of the time Tyler Conan who's been an Iron Man okay then your next guy is Jeremy Rucker and although he's un he's unproven I I don't have a problem giving opinions on players without a big sample size like I can just like Jamie and Sherwood to me I think is a fine backup linebacker he's had a bunch of games to prove it but I just think he's a fine backup linebacker and I think Jeremy Rucker is a fine tight end too is there anything that um Noah gray does for the Kansas City Chiefs that have given the opportunity Jeremy Rucker couldn't do I really don't think so um and I think that I can't think of many opportun like opportunities that Rucker had as a pass catcher where he like blew it or dropped a pass or whatever he commits some penalties to many times but I think solid across the the board dur uh durability SL versatility yeah Rucker does Rucker has had uh it's been every year now he's had an injury that's limited him in the leading up to the start of the season but overall I'm confident in stamping the tight end room with a solid B you know they did bring in Bates who I think is more going to be a core special teamer and just a blocker um but I I don't think that going losing a bow and going to bats doesn't really change the equation much for me I'm with a B at tight end wide receiver Talent overall is a B+ I mean obviously Garrett Wilson is a top I mean if you just saying if you just were to list the top 10 most talented receivers in the NFL I mean Garrett Wilson might make your might scratch the top 10 um obviously he hasn't had the quarterback play to to be top 10 in production yet the depth here is a little you know um after you know you have Garrett and then you have Mike Williams who's going to be a little bit limited as start of the season and then you have a bunch of variables and these variables could go your way and could not go your way um Gib Gibson is a I really don't know how they're going to utilize the wide receiver room in in terms of between Gibson Lazard and Corley like those three guys could go in any order like they could break out of the Huddle in San Fran and it's like boom corle starting I wouldn't be completely shocked Corley could be in Street close I wouldn't be completely shocked right like my hunch is there that Lazard is going to get going to get the benefit of the doubt to have a bounceback year Rogers Mulligan until um proven otherwise and I would probably say Corley is like wide receiver five as of right now um so the the depth is a little bit shaky to me um at least ter terms for this year like Corley I think is still like you want to be a starter by next year isn't the expectation the expectation is he contributes this year and he's a starter by next year if he's not a starter by next year then you're worried but we're like a year away from that um so total B+ now I did hike this one up in my formula I came out with a B but man I just think the volume that Garrett Wilson is going to get like that skews it to a B+ for me because I think Garrett Wilson is going to get the Devonte Adams treatment now as I always clarify is he Devonte Adams maybe I don't know man I think he's going to be pretty close 90% um but he's good enough to Warrant that kind of volume from Aaron roders and he's he feeds his number ones so that tilts it to a B+ for me although if you have concerns about the depth I do Echo those concerns I get it but I just think Garett is is that that that special and he's going to be that special with Rogers so over to the defensive side of the ball so I have Edge without reic and then edge with reic it's um I I can't I'm really to me it's like dude is this guy going to ever play for the Jets now like that is where the thought that's Cris in my mind which is kind of crazy but um without reic Talent is a b now you might say you're you're a hater it's still an a it's still Elite we don't need a son reic he's a bum and I understand your frustration but look the glass half full side of that is your still at a B when you lose two out of your three two out of your three top Edge players leave in huff and jfm they take a combined 14 sacks and what 120 pressures with them and then the main guy you bring in and you're expecting to have his 10 11 12 sacks and his 60 65 pressures and he if he doesn't even play for you and you're still at a B that is giving a massive benefit uh to the doubt of some of the other guys who are here and I think T McKinley be a good role player for this team um Germaine I think can take an another leap to be a top 20 Edge player in this league I think that is realistic for Germaine um I think you could argue down the back to thirds of last season he kind of was a French top 20 Edge player in this league um if you factor in all the components of his game and I think Will McDonald is going to be at the at the very least you know maybe they don't think his run defense is up to Snuff to uh to play every down it kind of seems that way like Clemens will probably get a lot of early down work but at the very least I am confident that will McDonald can kill it on third Downs um so Talent still a be without your most proven guy that's definitely a compliment to the unit and the depth is is okay uh you look at other defensive lines around the league it's not like guys it's not like teams have five Edge players they they freaking love um McGregor and and Watts I think are going to be part of this team for a few years but I I think for for the 2024 grade I'm not factoring them in a ton right it's like Huff right Huff was the udfa and it took him you know year one he hardly played year two he was a role player year three he popped like that's probably the trajectory if one of those guys hit so total without reic is a b now if you want to sprinkle in a little Hanan rck in there he wants to to get a better agent it bumps it up a letter grade to me the talent goes from a b to an a the depth goes from a b to an a because then everybody else has slotted down one spot um so I think with reic it you could argue it's the best Edge room in it might be the best Ed room in the NFL it's in the conversation with thean reic for sure it's definitely in the conversation but um yeah we'll see what happens with that interior defensive line Talent B+ highly driven by Quinn and Williams Quinn and Quinn and E bumps this great up significantly because Quinn in is probably one of the top three most talented defensive tackles he might be the second best defensive interior player probably besides Chris Jones now that Aaron Aaron Donald has retired death is okay um right now what do you got Leonard Taylor and S Thomas fine I I like Leonard Taylor a lot I think that Leonard Taylor probably has the biggest year One impact of the 3 UFA lineman that made the team durability versatility you know Kim has Miss some time um you're lacking a little bit of that that run Defender while like fotu is on the men but he'll be back soon we'll see what they do when he comes back but B+ and really it's because you have two starters right and one of your starters is I would say I would put money that he would be a favorite to be a first team All Pro so not going to go lower than a B+ on the interior defensive line um I'm not the biggest kinlaw guy you can't everyone can't be your guy right I can't have McDonald be my guy zire Barn be my guy all right Chuck Clark be my guy everyone can't be my guy I'm gonna have like lower we're all GNA have higher and lower opinions of different players um and kinlaw I'm open to it like if he has a good year and breaks out I would I would not be shocked in the slightest um you know he's he's changed his weight completely we'll see how that goes but uh he was okay last year on a really talented defensive line you know you play next to hardgrave and and play with Bosa in a similar SK system so I don't think you're getting that system bump right where if he came from some team with had like the worst defensive line in the NFL and a horrible defensive coaching staff you'd say okay we're going to get we're going to get a bump here but I don't know how if that bump exists when you're coming from San Fran and you had you know other really awesome defensive lineman teammates so we'll see that goes but I I think my expectation for kin law is I I don't know can you get four sacks and 39 pressures and and be average against the run I'll take it linebacker Talent a you got um two guys who have been either a second or first team All Pro in the last two years in Quincy Williams and C.J Mosley I do think we have to be realistic in that and I I with Quincy like okay you could say he's only done it one year but man I don't know I'm pretty confident Quincy is going to pick up right where he left off CJ uh he's under contract to be a jet for what the next 18 months I think we have to be realistic in that over at some point within those 18 months there is going to be a fallof you know he's he's under contract till he's well almost 34 um so when he first signed that year that two-year deal I was like okay can he give us one more year a really good play and then a second year of okay play I'll take that I'll take that right now for his age to whatever 30 two 33 Seasons um the depth is okay I think Jamie chood is a is a fine number three Z Barnes to me is is talented but obviously he's injured right now and he hasn't proven much but really Jamie and Sherwood carrying that because he'd be the first guy off the bench if anyone work to go down and you only start two guys um and they and they play like 99% of the snaps so it's not like other positions um like Edge your depth is you need to have you know three or four backup Edge players but a linebacker when Quincy and CJ um they played like 99% of the team snaps last year it's not going to be weighed as heavily there durability versatility durability has been really good versatility is is awesome and I think that the the skill sets line up behind them too right Sherwood is plays like Mosley Barnes plays like Quincy overall a minus for the linebacker group obviously the two guys at the top doing the most of the work there cornerback A's down the board think it's the best room on the team I think it's the best quarterback room in the NFL uh I don't even know how that's a take uh since since analytics became a thing since all those charts we see with all the guys names and you and you already know as soon as you see a cornerback coverage chart of analytics you go to the top and you go to the right and you're going to see s Gardner way up there you're going to see Michael Carter way up there and not that far behind them you're going to see DJ re over the last two years so this has been as good of a cornerback Trio in the history of like modern NFL analytics and since nickel became more of the base defense truly um and I think Brandon Eckles is a fine backup and I think JBC and stigers are going to be I think one of them is going to be okay to start next to S Gardner next year so quarterback room is excellent safety room is not as much it's mid it can be mid mid is an in someone's got to be mid it's okay we can't have all pros at every single position and I think the Jets have pretty much told us with the way they allo allocate res resources they they've told us it's pass rush and it's Corners all right and they kind of luck themselves into two really damn good linebackers because CJ was a hold over and Quincy dude even Robert Sol didn't know he was going to be that good when they resigned him for for five six million a year um but yeah the Jets I think the biggest contract they've given out to a safety was Jordan White had 6 million 7 million a year um they've only drafted one save higher than round five and that was Ashton Davis where if you look at other positions look at Edge Edge every so Robert Salah has been the coach with JD going into his fourth year and in the Salah era Carl Lawson 15 million a year jfm 15 million a year Hassan reik traded for to pay 15 million a year uh Germaine Johnson first round pick Will McDonald first round pick so that is five Investments in the edge room of either a first round pick or a $15 million aav contract so that's where the premium assets are going safety they're like eh if we can get to good enough we'll be all right now I did have this room improving from last year I had it a C+ because I think that Chuck clar is slightly better than Jordan Whitehead and I think Tony Adams's second year as a full-time starter will be improved depth B minus ashon Davis is is okay as a backup Isaiah Oliver I don't really know I know that he's got some versatility there so that helps that grade because he can play cornerback as well um but a B minus for the safety room um you might say C+ like it's not that good but I actually think B minus is fine I think Chuck I I I do think the Improvement of Tony Adams um you know the last like six or seven games he was playing better so I I think C+ would be too low for the safety room to be honest so there's the totals I mean nothing's lower than a B minus uh feels homery it feels homery when I look at it like this like this feels too positive but I don't I don't know where the massive reach is you know like wide receiver okay but it's not lower than a B minus like nothing's nothing to me is lower than a B minus if you if you don't like the wide receiver depth you want to say okay it should be a b or B minus okay but it's definitely not lower than B minus um yeah there it is so appreciate you guys hanging out if you are already in here coming after the fact you want to smash the thumbs up button that would be greatly appreciated we are so CL man dude I wish we played tomorrow at 100 pm. man I just oh that we have to wait like 30 more hours it's going to be the most unproductive work day on Monday or may be super productive just to stay busy and and not have to wait um but yeah man I'm so I'm so excited for Monday night guys the wait is almost over super chats coming in you guys are the best let's see what we got going on Ace of Spades you don't think Jamie and Sherwood can replace CJ Mosley um it's possible I think it would be an insult to C.J Mosley just just to assume that sure could be a one for one replacement right but look there's some of these pipeline guys are some of are going to hit and some of them aren't right like stiggers or JBC can one of them replace DJ Reid I think I think that's real and and by replace DJ Reed I mean okay can they be 80% as good as DJ Reed was but for or 75% as good but for you know whatever a fraction of the cost yeah you're going to have maybe um Will McDonald was kind of a pipeline guy when they expected reic to play like Olu fashanu is is he going to be as good as Tyran Smith well gez I don't know about that but I think he could be your starting left tackle next year right but Sherwood to me made the most of his opportunities last year and Sherwood what I love about Sherwood is he does not miss tackles he does not miss tackles um and he's got an awesome tackling radius he's got crazy Wings span um so playing downhill he's great in coverage I think there would be some limitations with him but on first and second down yeah I think Sherwood can be an adequate linebacker in this league for sure Dean what's up brother come on down for the Steelers game I might I might that is is definitely in the realm of possibilities and I appreciate the Super Chat as always brother you're the best I know you're those um the two bucks adds up for sure what's up Outlaw yeah prime time I did uh knock down their uh depth grade for the interior offensive line a bit without West wher you know again it's not like West whiter is awesome but he he probably would have been the first guy off the bench right if um any of the top three interior offensive line starters went down you know Switzer well not I'm now I'm misremembering if I don't know if Switzer was a healthy scratch for the preseason or if he was just hurt then too now I don't remember what's up K Brock appreciate that Harry's in the house do you think this team is any good I do look at these grades I gave them special teams is above average as well thank you Anthony is mcaffry playing is this as questionable um yeah so questionable to me almost means you know like 95% chance you're playing um but I was just talking in the in a in a group chat and with uh DC you guys know DC and he was pointing out that that he might be limited in terms of his reps which hey man you know if he touches the ball you know six less times uh okay and that's like two less explosives like that could be the difference in in the game right there so I you know Kristen mcaffrey take it light you know you got a long season ahead of you you got a short week so I'm fine with Christi mcaffrey doing some light work if they are a B+ then the Dolphins are an A+ just seems the Dolphins are so much better at what position a wide receiver yeah the Dolphins are an A plus a wide receiver they might I mean they have the best arguably the best wide receiver tandem in the NFL I mean you could argue AJ Brown n AJ Brown Devonte Smith are are up there um trying to think who else the Vikings are up there but I think I think the Dolphins have the two the best wide receiver tandem in the NFL am I horrible for the tiny smirk That Grew on my face when Jordan love went down um you know a tiny smirk no if you did Victory laps around your house then sure um no I don't like to see injuries and and even one another I know other Jet fans some of us on social media were and it was mostly what I saw was people saying you know it ain't so fun when the rabbit got the gun right because because Aaron Rogers injury has been the single most openly mocked injury that I could ever remember in sports um you know like Aaron Rogers other Achilles has a chance to do the funniest thing ever is like the top comment on Twitter whenever there's an NFL post about the game on Monday night so no I feel bad when other players get injured and I don't and honestly I don't like to dwell I don't like to dabble into any I Told You So is or it's not so fun with you not because I'm a better person than anyone just because I I'm scared of karma I'm scared I'm scared if I do that it's going to come back to get us man but um I'll say this I'm not g to have any sympathy for any fan base that loses their quarterback this year none because what's been said has been egregious uh Dean Super Chat thanks brother which position groups are priority in the 25 draft H man hard to know um well I mean hopefully Aaron Rogers wins Super Bowl he wants to sail off into the sunset he might take a quarterback at 32 right um trying to think of our first round pick like where that would like because for the last couple years it's felt like first- round pick offensive line but uh you you don't necessarily have to go offensive line I don't know because even Corner DJ re leaves I think they would go with like stiggers and JBC I don't see them spending like a you know first or second round pick on a corner safety they never spent early draft capital on a safety is this the year we don't draft a running back probably right have four guys on rookie contracts oh wide receiver I could see wide receiver being being a top pick because you know you figure the way I look at some of these players I think you hope that Tyrant Smith Mike Williams DJ Reid have awesome years and and you're priced out of resigning them and and they turn into some comp piics right I think guys like Tyler Conlin uh Morgan Moses are guys maybe you can get back on reasonable deals so I think wide receiver would be a spot you know and maybe Corley blows them away and they feel good about him but I think if I look at next year's wide receiver room could the top three receivers be Garrett Wilson as your wide receiver one Corley as your wide receiver three and then like you know your first round pi pick is a wide receiver too because if it's a late first round pick picking a getting a high-end wide receiver to is worth a late first round pick right ask the Vikings with um Addison I mean Jaylen wd's a wide receiver too wasn't he like a top 10 pick so yeah wide receiver and then um uh that that would probably be my top guess like that we'd Come Away with a wide receiver in the first two rounds auk isn't playing every snap with lack of offseason practice that makes sense what's interesting is Trent Williams because well Shanahan didn't rule out that they would rotate like bring in what bring in the backup left tackle for a series if Tyran Smith is huffing and puffing which I don't think they'll do that I think Tyron Smith is or uh Trent Williams rather is going to grin and Barrett for for every single snap cuz man uh playing a backup left tackle for one drive could could derail the game uh DV is durability versatility Clark has been my guy well McDonald has to years we can share Rucker is fine based on what based on the limited opportunities that I've seen I think that he's got some good blocking reps I think that he they've been reps where they split him outside and he's got been able to show some like wiggle against linebackers and get open there's been reps down the seam where he's shown the ability to track the ball and they catches in traffic um and if he can just do that not at a at a clip of what can he get 275 yards receiving and two touchdowns and and have a good blocking I I don't see why he couldn't do that thank you Dane bill says the weakest part of the defense last year was the running game if that hasn't changed San Francisco could H the Jets on the ground yeah and they were the Jets were particularly vulnerable uh up the middle so yeah that that's would be my game plan if I was San Francisco would be just a heavy dose of uh Christian mcaffrey right 49ers were also a significantly better pass defense than run defense last year but you know they also play with so many leads it kind of sometimes it gets hard to um you kind of have to watch how is quarterback not an A+ oh I didn't do a pluses I just the highest you can get is an a looks like tanah Hill might find a job in Green Bay soon yeah looks like Jordan love is he didn't tear his ACL so now it's seeming like maybe a four-week thing um yeah it's going to be a brutal uh four weeks for the quarterback doesn't matter just coach uh Squad from last year Cleveland Browns bro yeah the [ __ ] Cleveland Browns had pretty much the same win loss record without deshun Watson as Robert Salah did with Zack Wilson and Trevor Simeon H we not go there again I'm not I'm not diverting to that again but yeah look again LEF Flor is a good coach LEF Flor is a good coach uh but they will not win a game while as long as Malik Willis is starting they will not win a single game I bet you I bet you who are they playing the next four weeks Colts Titans Vikings they're not they're not even playing any good teams imagine being in the NFC look at this garbage the Jets would probably be the second best team in the NFC I don't know li no the lions are really good too but they're going to they'll go 0 and three if he misses those three games three average to below average teams they will go 0 and three with Malik Willis I bet you you can blame the quarterback all you want dude H okay sure it's not blame it's it's reality it's reality why these these decent quarterbacks are getting $50 million a year for a reason man it's it's never it's the most important position in sports and it's never been more important than it is now think the Raiders would take reic but who wants to pay him I think there's lots of teams that would would that would take reic on the deal he's on a lot of teams would take reic what is he I think was 14 million this year that is great value for H that's why the Jets traded for him right because that was built into it but it was also reported multiple times that when other teams heard his asking price for an extension they hung up the phone it was a nonstarter he probably wants like 27 28 million a year teams are not going to do that for for a 30-y old Edge player there's not so I think it's just they're just going to let him sit and and I I don't think I've seen the comment well he he's going to hope that the Jets don't do well on Monday night which that does piss me off you know I I don't really have an issue with with reck I think he's being dumb I think he's costing himself money I don't hate the guy I don't have any animosity towards him if he decided tomorrow he wants to show up I'd be like all right cool let's let's roll brother but the imagining him sitting there like hoping that his current team which is the Jets like does poorly so it gives him more leverage that just feels scummy doesn't it because that's what and it's logically probably what he's thinking but there's no way there's no way I don't care if the Jets only get like two sacks and they lose by you know 10 points to San Francisco we really you really think Jord Aus is going to turn around and say oh okay Hanan right like well in that case here's your threeyear $80 million no way no way is that happening after one game it' be ridiculous J elas is not doing that so he's got he uh week 11 is now that next date where if he doesn't show by week 11 then the Jets would own his contract rights for the next year now we could show up at week 11 and all of a sudden his back hurts like it could get really ugly down the line but right now we he can just be out of sight out of mind and we'll just see what happens but I don't think he's traded at least right now maybe it gets to the point where they're just so done with him and they trade him at the deadline but he's not going to be traded right now if I had to guess am i g to make a hot takes video before did I say some sort of receiving stat combined um oh I said that Corley would lead all NFL wide receivers in rushing yards but I don't know if he's going to play enough to do that but it wouldn't take much like 150 rushing yards might do it right linebacker A minus you think it's bad a minus is a stellar grade Le I love is out three to four weeks okay what do Zack Wilson truthers have to say about being third string QB behind two unproven QBs yeah look I I'll say this I think give the benefit of the doubt because well number one let's separate jetfan Zack wols and truthers from BYU Zack wols and truthers because there is a big difference the BYU people you cannot reason with them you can't even talk to them and they actively hate Jeff fans but amongst Jeff fans I think that there was a like Zack Wilson was heavily heavily criticized I criticized Zack Wilson a bunch and there were times where you know like it was a little extra there was a thing where people were harassing his mom um you know I did I saw and again it's a very small minority of Jeff fans but between like him and beckon were the two guys where the stuff just crossed the line like I hope this guy gets injured that I only have ever seen that um for beckon and Zack Wilson since I've been on jet social media the only two players where I've seen I'm like man this stuff is really cross the line and they're both I think they were both terrible players it was totally imbalanced to say Makai beckon committed 13 penalties it was totally inbounds to say Zack Wilson is not a starting quarterback in the NFL but so I think I think a lot of Zack Wilson truthers were making an effort to like over correct for that of a player they thought that was being the criticism was going too far and getting too personal that being said like the whole thing like he's going to haunt the franchise for a decade Shawn pay's in termin to Drew Brees I mean it's just it's crazy talk man the the the kid's probably gonna start less than 10 games the rest of his career truly um so it is what it is but he's probably happier chilling backup quarterback is a pretty sweet gig and we we just made the 45 minute Mark so we we we were able to go that meet our criteria if not talking about Zack Wilson until 45 minutes in Gabe says do you think they should bring someone on the interior offensive line um I think this is this is a spot where they just bring up somebody from the practice squad look if Conor mcgoverin still wants to play sure but I I feel like if they were going to do that it would have been done by now it would have been done in Late July if he was going to come back right um I will take a peek at like the top couple of names of free agency just just to see but I I I would wager because swier I think it's the only he's on the four-week IR so by the time you brought in somebody and they learned our our system and you made sure they were in game shape and every and everything it' probably be time for swizer to come back but we could take a peek Cory Lindley oh I think he retired Jon yeah there's not much man Jonathan Harrison is like the seventh name which I didn't even know he was still did he play in The League last year Jonathan Harrison was on the Dolphins last year wow I did not know that so no I don't think they will I think they'll just um I think they'll just bring up Hansen or Leo or
