heading into this weekend in Southern Ontario you're going to be looking at the back of the closet for the extra layers because chilly air is moving in it's going to feel more like October so the temperatures will cool down plus we're going to throw a soggy slow moving system at you so yes rain showers let's start it off here with Friday the morning will be crisp into the afternoon we're going to climb up to some respectable temperatures it's going to be room temperature in Toronto and weon climbing up to 23 we'll see a chance of showers through the day but by the evening and overnight the Toronto International Film Festival is in town and they're going to see a red carpet event it will be a wet one with southerly winds so we're watching The Rain move in through Friday and through the overnight it's going to be soggy across the greater Toronto region through Cottage Country eastern Ontario too Saturday morning waking up and by the afternoon we'll see some breaks and then Sunday we'll get some dry periods too but overall this is going to be an unsettled weekend where we'll be seeing showers and those Northwest winds on Sunday aren't going to be kind they'll bring in some Lake Effect Show hours temperature- wise take a look at your Saturday here 17 in Peterboro 13 in Huntsville if you didn't shut down the cottage last weekend and you're doing it this weekend just grab your rain jacket to do all that work and how about these daytime highs on Sunday in the GTA it's going to be more like October now have no fear after we get through this wet weekend we'll rebound and overall we'll probably look at near seasonal temperatures by the end of September [Music] [Music]
